So far eithernet works tried using iltwb wifi but if i try to install kext with the nirish build but got keyboard working etc chip displaying on the about mac os which is intel core i3 with a hd intel 4000 series chip which is a 4400 but also been using kext pro installer just been getting stuck alot after rebooting from my kext after finshing says 3hours text warning than wont boot my laptop again is a dell latitude 3340 using mac os catalina again just new to this stuff pretty much how far i got to

It has been my main computer for 4 years, on 24/7 I work with it from home, I use Moonlight/Sunshine to connect to my Gaming computer, I use it with Logic Pro for personal studio with a Behringer midi interface (guitar, piano and electronic drums) that works perfectly. It's absurdly stable.
It's fast.
I use it with 2 monitors. Six hard drives, two of them in Raid0.
I virtualize Linux and windows 10 for some engineering applications that don't work well with wine. (Cype, Autocad).
Host an FTP and web server with Joomla for some personal things. I even have emulators for NeoGeo, PS1, etc.
For my use, I have not felt the need to update. It's a shame that with ARM's shit this will end.
I use Clover, btw.

Any SATA SSD recommendations?
I'm so tired of my Hackintosh being SUUUPER slow. It has an equivalent of a performance of an 11 year old Mac, and it's just frustrating to do basic stuff. Even opening an application takes AGES just to open and it freezes randomly before going back to normal.
Anyways, you guys got good recommendations? I frankly don't want to buy another adapter since I my budget is enough just to buy one SATA SSD.
Here is a few of my Hackintosh specification in case anyone needs it:

macOS not shutting down correctly
I have a problem with my Hackintosh. When I click shutdown, the screen turns off and the OS shuts down, USB devices turn off, but the power is never fully removed. The fans start spinning on max and the built-in keyboard backlight is still lit.
The screen is off, even if I use verbose mode.
USB is mapped. FixShutdown-USB-SSDT.aml ACPI patch is present and configured for all USB controllers (I have two, a normal and a Thunderbolt/USB-C mix one) using this guide.
I believe it was working on Monterey and stopped working on Ventura, and still broken on Sonoma.
OS version is macOS Sonoma 14.5
OpenCore version is 0.9.7

HiDPI on login screen?
Hi everyone!
I finally got macOS Ventura working with my 1440p monitor. I know 1440p doesn't play well with macOS, but I managed to scale it to 1808p using BetterDisplay. However, the login screen still displays at 1440p. Does anyone know how to make the login screen scale to 1080p as well?

Ok to delete disabled Arrays type in config.plist?
Hi all,
I'm building a hack on Coffee Lake based platform. Following Dortania guide for Desktop Coffee Lake and while going through my config.plist, I see lots of entries of Array type with Enabled key set to FALSE such as this:

I'd assume these entries are irrelevant to Coffee Lake since 1. they're disabled, 2. not mentioned in Dortania guide that need amend.
My question is, is it safe to delete such sections since (I assume) is not needed for a cleaner config.plist?
If it is safe, would it better to delete these prior to installation or better to do it after installation?
