I’m trying to install macOS Ventura on my laptop
Hardware:
• CPU:i7-7500u
• GPU:intel HD 620
• RAM:16gb sddr3
• Motherboard/Laptop model: Dell XPS 9360
• Audio Codec:Realtech
• Ethernet Card:Realtech
• Wifi/BT Card: (if available) Killer Wireless-n/a/ac 1535 (i’ve ordered DW1560 will upgrade when it arrives)

I’m struggling to find the appropriate EFI files for my laptop using OpenCore.
Can anyone help me find the appropriate files I’ve tried searching on github and tried a few but none of them worked the most I’ve gotten to is the Apple logo (stuck there).

EDIT: stuck on apple loading screen but i can hear sounds to use mac in english press the return key and then i press the return key it says to use the voice command press etc.

No Graphics Acceleration and 7MB of VRAM on Comet Lake UHD 620 (Intel Core i7-10510U 10th Generation) Big Sur
My first real attempt at making a Hackintosh, Decided to try installing Big Sur since it might be the last one I can get to support my dGPU.
I have a 2020 Dell Vostro 3590,
CPU: Intel Core i7-10510U (10th Generation)
iGPU: Intel UHD 620 Graphics
RAM: 8GB DDR4
Audio: Realtek ALC3204 (ALC236)
dGPU: AMD Radeon 610 Series
WiFi: Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165
SSD: Samsung 120GB
I've got most things working:
Booting, Sound, Keyboard/Mouse, USB (Not sure if I have 3.0 working yet), Intel WiFi Card, Bluetooth, and more.
I don't have Graphics Acceleration, So no transparency on the dock, really slow animations for minimizing windows and opening Launchpad, etc. I'm also stuck on 7MB of VRAM as far I can tell. My Laptop's UEFI doesn't let me change the DVMT-prealloc for the iGPU, it seems to be set to 32MB. Also I can't change the Brightness but I figure that will come with setting up the iGPU properly.
I've followed Dortania's guide for everything, which mentions that a UHD 620 in a Comet Lake CPU needs deviceid to set to 9B3E0000, but the Whatevergreen framebuffer patching guide says that this was only needed for a 9th Gen Coffee Lake Refresh, and that after MacOS 10.14.4 it isn't necessary. Setting deviceid to 9B3E0000 causes issues while booting for me.
I'm 98% sure it's a UHD 620, everything I've read said that it's a 620. But in Linux it shows up as "Intel 10th Generation Graphics (GT2)" which normally means a UHD 630. I've tried Framebuffer for the UHD 630, Intel HD Graphics CFL CRB, and a couple of the Iris Plus ones, (All Mobile, I haven't tried any Desktop ones.) but none seem to make Graphics acceleration work.
My dGPU (AMD Radeon 610 series) is another point of confusion. In Linux it shows up as a "AMD Radeon R5 M435" a 1st gen GCN card. But Dell, Windows and everything else says that the Radeon 610 series is probably a Polaris 10/20 card.

Need Help with OpenCore Installation - Screen Goes Off During Boot
Hello Hackintosh Community! I'm a beginner attempting to install Hackintosh on my system, but I've encountered an issue during the boot process. When I boot into the USB, the commands run, and after a few seconds, the screen goes off, and nothing happens.
System Specifications:
Motherboard: HP 82DD
CPU: Intel Core i3 7100u Kaby Lake
GPU: Integrated GPU Intel HD 620
RAM: 8GB DDR4
Audio Codec: Realtek High Definition
Storage: 1TB HDD, 500GB SATA SSD
Ethernet Card: Realtek GbE Family Controller
Installation Details: macOS Version: Big Sur 11.7.10
Guide Followed: FreeCodeCamp Guide \- which is based on the Dortania OpenCore Guide
Issue Description: After following the guide meticulously, the commands run during boot from the USB, but the screen goes off after a few seconds, and the PC seems unresponsive.
BIOS Settings: Secure Boot off, Clear Secure Keys on, Virtualization disabled

Problems with sleep thinkpad X250
Tried a bunch of different solutions, tried my own EFI (works but no trackpad) and now this EFI. The only Problem I have is that when I put my laptop to sleep it turns off the screen but it never goes to sleep. if I move the cursor it just wakes again. specs: I5-5300u x250 50gb samsung 750 EVO intel wifi 7265..

We’ll need help now with rtl8125 in msi x570 Meg unify motherboard

I can’t seem to get my Ethernet to work at all I have the proper Lucy kext and everything and it was working when I was on Mojave before starting over and going to Monterey. There is no wifi related anything shown in hackintool and en0 just doesn’t exist at all if that helps. I’m kinda out of solutions sadly.

Mac OS Sonoma stuck at apple logo after restarting from windows
I am new to hackintosh, i recently dual booted opencore hackintosh, with windows 11 on the same ssd on their own they both work perfectly but i encountered a strange issue, after i boot into windows then restart to boot into mac os it gets stuck at apple logo what wierd is that after shutting down the computer for several hours and then again booting into mac os it boots properly, it just gets stuck when booting after windows, i have tried addressing this problem but no luck so far, any help would be appreciated.

Best LattePanda (or alternative) for a portable screen-less Hackintosh?
My current computer is a screen-less 2020 MBP that I pair with Xreal displays. It works well enough, but it tends to run hot.
I'm new to the Hackintosh scene. Would it be possible to build something more powerful than my current setup? What's the best Hackintosh-compatible LattePanda (or other) board out there?

Issue with combo jack port ALC295 Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55QY
Hi! I am new here and to the Opencore universe. Last time i built a hackintosh it was in 2017. Time flies 😪!
I am currently finishing to build my first hackintosh using opencore, on my laptop. I am reaching full functionality on macOS Sonoma and Opencore 0.9.8.
What guide/tool I followed:
Dortania Guides (Opencore Install Guide, Getting started with ACPI) and config guide for laptop comet lake
Hardware:
CPU: QuadCore Intel Core i5-10300H, 4200 MHz (42 x 100) \[Comet Lake-H; intel64\_family6\_model\_165\]
GPU: nVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop (Acer)
RAM: 16GB 2x Micron 8ATF1G64HZ-3G2J1 DDR4-3200 (1600 MHz) SDRAM

What part I got an issue with:
But I am facing an issue. While the audio is working fine (built-in speakers and microphone) my combo jack is resisting.
When I start my computer to boot on macOS the boot-chime plays well both on built-in speakers and headphones. But after selecting the macOS disk, the headphones start to produce a continuous static noise until I log on macOS and put my computer to sleep mode.
I noticed that when i then wake up the computer, the static noise disappear and (output) sound works perfectly with the headphone. Note that while the headphones are detected but don't work when I'm on the desktop after the boot, the built-in speakers do, so when I unplug the 3,5 jack speakers work fine even before sleep/wake transition.
ALC recommended layouts
I tried all the recomanded alc295 layouts, and finally chose to use the layout 13 as its the first giving me working audio. I also tried to use alcdelay and the ALCPlugFix for my audio codec I found on GitHub without any success. I don't have any idea why the combo jack is behaving this way.

Dell Latitude 3310 macOS Sonoma Problems (Display & Audio)

Over the past few days I have been working at getting this laptop (Dell lattitude 3310) working as best as I can while running macOS Sonoma (14.2.1) However, there are a few problems that no matter how much research I do, I cannot find and fixes that work, so have decided to make this post.

My current problems:
Crackly audio through audio jack (speakers and bluetooth work fine)
Display not waking when laptop lid opened. (If I put the laptop to sleep manually and the tap the keyboard, everything works as it should) (Seems to work most of the time if I leave the laptop shut for a while before opening it back up.)
No display brightness control (The slider is greyed out, my keyboard shortcuts don't make any popups show either)

Upgrading Big Sur to Sonoma
I am a complete newbie at upgrading unsupported systems, but I would be interested in upgrading my system. I have a late 2013 MacBook Pro system using Big Sur. It is a dinosaur now. But I would like some feedback about upgrading my system. The least complicated the more I will be able to understand the process.

HELP NVMe laptop drive causing kernel panic

Hello, I am trying to Hackintosh my old laptop and I used clover because OpenCore wasn't working, support threads aren't great and Clover was easier to set up. I can boot into clover but once I get to the verbose booting, it pauses with a message that says something about the AppleNVMe support request, then it kernel panics. (I will upload a photo in a moment)

integrated intel BT & Wi-Fi stopped working after adding smbios. z390 designare, 9900k
Hi,
Can somebody help. I have an otherwise fully working hackintosh running Sonoma on latest opencore, but Wifi & Bt stopped working after adding SMbios for iMac 19.1 since iMessage etc were not connecting with my other devices. If i remove the serial info they start working again fine, but no handoff or continuity. I tried also SMbios for iMac pro 1.1 but didnt help.
I got BT working now with an asus USB dongle, but Wifi is not working so no airdrop etc.. What could cause the problem?

Issue with Corsair iCue on MacOS Sonoma: Lightning Node Core not detected
Hi everyone,
I'm facing an issue with my Hackintosh and I'm hoping someone can help me out. Currently, I'm using OpenCore 0.9.8 on MacOS Sonoma and I'm having trouble with Corsair iCue, which is not detecting my Lightning Node Core.
Here are the specifications of my system:
* CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
* GPU: MSI Radeon rx 5700 xt Mech OC 8gb
* RAM: 2 x 8gb 3200mHz CL 16
* Motherboard: MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max
* Audio codec: Built-in Realtek

SUCCESS! on OC 0.9.8 and BIG SUR After an ENTIRE YEAR on HP Laptop

It took me an entire year of struggle, trial, and error, and quitting, but I eventually came back—one of the most satisfying things I've done. EDIT: IT TOOK ME SOOOO LONG TO FIGURE OUT THAT I HAD TO USE SSDT-RTC0 INSTEAD OF AWAC, and I HAD IRQ PATCHES TOO, HAD TO USE SSDT-HPET via SSDTTime. Other than that, WiFi is Unsupported and So is Bluetooth.

HowTo disable service with laucnhctl
Hello,
I’m running Sonoma 14.3 (23D56), when I boot the system I have a process running at 100% CPU load, which is com.apple.transparencyd. So far I managed to found that this process is possibly can be suppressed with launchctl.
When I'm running launchctl:user@MacBook-Pro> sudo launchctl bootout gui/502 /System/Library/LaunchAgents/com.apple.transparencyd.plistBoot-out failed: 5: Input/output error
As far as I can understand syntax is correct as per man page: https://ss64.com/mac/launchctl.html

Exfat data partition on macbook pro 2013 constant spotlight indexing
The title says it all, mostly.
I got ahold of an old macbook pro, and decided to dual boot osx Catalina and Debian mate... So far so good, except that spotlight didn't want to search the exfat partition I had created to share data between both OS's.
I deleted and rebuilt the spotlight index, and thought I had a win, because I could then search using spotlight and find files in the data partition.
But this appears to be temperamental sometimes working and sometimes not.
And also, the indexing indicator is still endlessly scanning the exfat partition.
So... I'm looking for either a solution to enables spotlight to work on exfat partitions....
Or a different way to have a shared data partition for osx and Linux both to access.
And yes, I'd rather not pay for a commercial paragon ntfs license. I paid for one a few years ago, and they went and pulled the "need a new license for a new osx version" trick, and I don't want to build a system around planned obsolescence.

macOS sonoma on 2011 21.5" iMac
hi guys. trying to install sonoma on my 2011 iMac using a bootable drive. i've made the drive using open core legacy patcher but once i hold down option to go to the boot menu and select the drive, the mac displays a white screen with a grey "no entry" type symbol. anyone know how i get past this? the tutorial i'm following by mr macintosh on youtube doesn't mention this, nor a way around it. any help greatly appreciated :)

What's working: basically everything, sleep, microphone, camera, keyboard, gpu acceleration, battery, headphone port, all usbs, audio, sd card reader, iServices etc
Bugs: trackpad (hp issue seems, I managed to get it working once but cursor was really laggy), and other things like chrome and discord freezing when joining a call, if anyone has a fix for these please tell me
Followed Dortania's guide. If anyone has the same laptop or needs help with a similar laptop feel free to message me, I am happy to help, though I may not be the best, as this is the second Hackintosh I ever made. Currently dual booted with windows 11, seems pretty stable for main usage, despite the poor AMD processor it is a smoother experience than windows and I would argue its better than windows in terms of performance (other than playing games)
