Would anyone pay for NVIDIA macOS driver?
I’m just curious if someone can make modern NVIDIA GPUs like RTX4090 work on macOS platform, hackintosh more specifically, how many people would buy the driver? Now that apple is giving up x86 macOS, it seems to be not worthy to do such a thing. AMD GPUs are supported currently, which makes NVIDIA on macOS more unnecessary. I have these thoughts recently. After some investigations, I think building a GL/MTL supported driver is possible, but just not worthy.

Ryzen - terrible performance on Minecraft under macOS
hey there, earlier today i installed macOS on my Ryzen build (AMD Ryzen 5 3600, RX 5700 XT). now i tried to play some Minecraft. On Windows I was pushing around 250-300FPS, but on Mac it averages 30. Is there any way to make it run at least a little better?

RealtekRTL8111.kext = CPU panic
My EFI was running great for some days, but yesterday it went into a kernel/cpu panic after selecting my MacOS install from picker.
After hours of messing with my EFI, I found out that is only happens when my necessary Ethernet driver is active, without it works as normal. I tried several kext versions, no luck either..
My system:
- i3-12100F
- Gigabyte H610m H v2 (latest bios)
- 16GB DDR @XMP 3200
- RX6600
- Opencore 0.9.6
I also tried some random EFIs I found on GitHub, same problem.
There is some thing which is a bit strange, the MAC address show in bios is 00:00:00:00, but windows and Ubuntu (tested via live usb) shows it correctly.
Is anyone able to help me out?

Macbook Air 6.2 OpenCore Macbook restarts and doesnt continue installation
As I said in the title, when I try to install Mac OS Montery on my Macbook Air 6.2, it reboots after about 12 to 14 minutes and just goes back to the recovery menu. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me with this issue.

WiFi/Bluetooth module that is natively supported India
Hi, I am new here so sorry if I am breaking any rules or not following any guidelines.
I am from India and I have installed MacOS Big Sur on my Asus R542UQ. The WiFi chipset is not natively supported and I have tried many kexts but no luck so far. I looked into some natively supported WiFi chipsets but all of them are very expensive here (like $80 to $120). If you are from India and have any suggestions then please help me out.

Current state is that I have the USB ready with Sonoma 14.1.1. It boots but despite all my efforts it never boots into installer. Here's the debug:

Booting Up the Installer leads to no video output
Hey everyone, tried booting my installer today (tried Big Sur and Sonoma on 2 different usb sticks) and I select the installer from the opencore boot menu, it posts for a while, then the screen goes black and my monitor goes to sleep.
My specs:
Gigabyte Aorus Ultra Z490
10600k cpu
32gb DDR4
Using integrated graphics (UHD630)
4k dell monitor using hdmi
I set the AAPL,ig-platform-id to each of the two options for comet lake’s integrated graphics, but the result is the same. Bios graphics memory is set to 64mb.
I was reading there may be some hdmi issues with Mac OS, both my computer and monitor have display ports, but I don’t have a cord. Could this be along the lines of the issue, or should I look into my EFI setup?

Hackintosh stuck on blackscreen.

I tried installing Hackintosh using Dortaina OpenCore guide, ran into some problems that I was able to solve on my own, but cannot fix this one.

Ventura on Hasweel laptop
I found this tool on github that prepares usb installer and an opencore efi for hp laptops and with it I was able to boot and install ventura on my haswell laptop. Now I have to use oclp to do the post-installation patches for gpu acceleration also. The problem is that I made the usb installer in the same laptop in another ssd with monterey and the smbios was macbookpro15,2. I don't know how in the world was I able to make a monterey work on a haswell with macbookpro15,2 smbios but it does and now I have Ventura with the same smbios but OCLP won't work because the smbios is already supported for ventura. The other problem is that when I try to set the smbios to macbookpro11,3 or macbookpro14,1 it will stuck as some point during booting. Any solution? Also when I add amfi_get_out_of_my_way=0x1 it won't boot.

Big Sur after install boots into recovery

So after successfully installing big sur, I got a new option in OC " macOS installer ", after I enter it, I get a bunch of logs and then it boots into recovery.
SecureBootModel is disabled.

Swapped RAM in hackintosh. Was running at 2666 MHz, now running at 2400MHz. Best way to correct this?
I built an EFI for my Lenovo P330 using Opencore 0.9.6 and everything is/has been working perfectly fine.
I wanted to move my 32GB 2666 ram kit (from the P330) to my other hack so I put in a kit of 16GB 3200 Kingston and now it's running at 2400.
To my understanding I can correct this using SMBIOS in something like Open Core Configurator, but I can't find a lot of useful information about this online.
Mainly, I don't know if I need more information about my ram kit specs to make the correct changes in SMBIOS.
I also have no problem reinstalling macOS via my thumb drive if that's an option to correct the ram speed.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated and I can provide more info if needed! Thanks in advance.
EDIT: No option to change RAM speed in Bios.

Use of Hackintosh's as programming/iOs development devices
So I really want to get into iOs development, and I already have some understanding of Swift by playing around on our school Macs, but the problem is I don't have a apple device of my own. I have a Dell Inspiron 7506 (CPU: Intel Core i7, Intel Iris XE Integrated GPU), and I was wondering if it is worth setting up a Hackintosh so I can code. But with how picky I've heard Hackintoshes can be, I was wondering whether things like the XCode Emulator etc would work with it?
If yes, could anyone give me any resources to start setting it up on my device, and if not, could you please say what challenges you've faced?

Question Stay on Ventura vs Upgrade to Sonoma
I got an MSI Z490 MPG Wifi setup that's been running like a dream on Ventura. Recently swapped out my Fenvi card for the onboard Intel wifi and bluetooth surprisingly, it's working well, especially the wifi speed. But I've seen a few people talking about performance issues and glitches with the wifi. Should I be worried about these if I'm thinking of upgrading? Stability with Ventura is my top priority. If it means staying with Ventura to keep things smooth, I'm cool with that. Thoughts?

No WiFi option in Ventura Installation.
Does anyone know if I can install Ventura over WiFi instead of using ethernet? My WiFi card is Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165. When at the installation screen, there is no option to connect to wifi so I keep getting the message that an internet connection is required. I previously installed Big Sur with no issues using AirportItlwm.kext and I was able to connect to WiFi at the top right of the recovery screen.

One microphone, two devices. Option to 'listen' to my own microphone?
I currently have a setup based on Windows, but I am switching to Mac. My microphone is connected to the PC, and the 'Listen to this device' option is enabled with playback to a USB audio interface. With this configuration, I can connect to any laptop and use the same microphone with configured VST plugins. I can also 'listen' to the laptop with Elgato software. Does anyone have something similar using a Mac as the main device? Any ideas?
To listen to other devices, it works seamlessly, just like in Windows.
The real issue is actually sending the microphone audio to a P2 output; macOS doesn't have a native option for that.
