T2 chip on a PCI/m.2 adapter?
I looked up online and so far what I found indicates that it should be possible to create a PCI adapter for T2 SoC chip:

With a T2 chip bastardized from a decommissioned or a malfunctioning Mac and an such adapter, a Hackintosh could be a thing for several more years, including pretty much all the same functionality as with the current Apple Silicon line.
The only thing required would be reverse-engineering the pinout, but that can’t be too difficult, given how the SoC is connected to the well-documented Intel chipset, plus a ROM chip.
I can imagine how the adapter would have a BGA socket that would enable to attach the chip without soldering at all.

Frozen screen when not booting with -igfxvesa
When I’m not booting with the kernel parameter-igfxvesa when the apple logo is meant to appear instead the screen will freeze at the command prompt and require a force shutdown. Hackintosh worked great until I corrected startup disk in system settings, now it won't boot...
I'm hoping someone might be able to help me out here...
I have a frustrating issue in which I seem to have broken my Hackintosh by making a change to the startup disk in system settings.
I recently did a clean install to update my machine on which I had been running High Sierra for several years. But it was time to update, and I took the opportunity to swap from Clover to Opencore, and had Ventura working really well. The only issue I have encountered with the new install is that it wouldn't always wake from sleep properly, but otherwise I have been using the computer as my work-horse, trouble free, for over a month now.I haven't properly tried to fix the wake from sleep issue yet, but one thing I did do was reset the NvRAM, just in case. This then had the unfortunate effect that in the Opencore bootloader screen, the wrong hard disk was highlighted, and it would always automatically attempt to boot to the wrong disk If I wasn't ready with the mouse. A minor inconvenience that has somehow escalated into a big source of frustration.I went into system settings, and changed the startup disk to the correct one, and restarted the machine. Since then, I have not been able to boot to my newly set up Ventura system. It gets hung up at pretty much the same point everytime and resets itself.
It still works fine if I boot to the old Clover/High Sierra install. Its an Asus Z270 prime, i7-7700K, Intel HD630, all originally built using recommended parts from tonymacx86.
It took me a long time to get my machine set up to my liking, so if anyone has any ideas on what I could do, i'd be much obliged. So far I have replaced my EFI folder with a backup, and that had no effect. Attached is a picture showing how far the boot gets before it restarts.

Shucking a 1TB SanDisk Portable SSD... with Clone.
Using Disk Utility on Sonoma, I did a perfect clone of a 500GB Mojave NVME SSD to the external USB3 SSD, copied over existing working EFI folder, booted and tested fine.

I am now in the process of opening/removing/replacing the 80mm NVME SSD from the very tightly sealed enclosure to internal. Even the remaining 500GB is included in the clone, no need to expand unused space...
This is a good thing because the original boot Intel 660p NVME is showing only ~60% life left. I believe the SanDisk is similar to the WD Green 1TB TLC drive, with ~300 TBW endurance (fingers-crossed).

Hey everyone, has anyone here made a Hackintosh for Ventura on the Dell Precision 5530? I have been trying to follow various tutorials and so far the most I've gotten is getting to 1/5 of the loading bar on the Apple logo before the machine restarts again. Create USB Installer on Hackintosh After Successful Install
I managed to get everything setup the way I want. The flash drive I used was meh. I would like to make a new drive. Is it possible to run the terminal command to create a bootable installer, and then just copy over my current successful-install EFI onto the USB installer EFI partition? I don't really want to make a new one from scratch without all the proper configurations I spent a few days getting right.

Z390 Aorus master IGPU + startup errors
Cant seem to get the IGPU Intel UHD 630 working in the desktop on my Z390 Aorus Master with Opencore.
System is running Sonoma.
I have the nvidia web drivers working for my main 3 displays but adding the UHD 630 for my 4th auxilary + audio out display setting it to first in bios shows the boot then once it switches to the desktop just shows the boot log still as a static screen and no desktop.

Need Help.
My hackintosh was perfectly working without any issues for the past 2-3 years. Started with Monterey, through Ventura and then Sanoma. Last month, there was some power issues and I lost my RAM. I replaced it and then it was working fine. In some days the NvMe drive slot stopped. So I got a casing. It now boots and gives the chime but gets stuck on “apfs.efi: LocateProtocol (AppleLogging) succeeded” and then restarts.
And the cycle, continues. Any idea/advice what might cause this?

Finally took the OpenCore plunge and...
I followed the guide from this video www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ryY9GTawQM&ab\_channel=BarTechTV and found the OC installer for my i7 Haswell processor, and I installed Mojave 10.14.6.
The install went fine, but seems like 2 issues are happening. Every time I boot the machine, there is a list of messages that scroll down the screen for about 10 seconds (not sure if these are errors), then I get to the OC boot screen, where I can choose my MacHD drive. Once I choose the MacHD drive from the boot screen, the process is very fast to the Mojave login screen, and everything is working, ethernet, etc.
The other thing is, when I did the USB drive setup, I chose the closest machine to what I have, as far as i7 etc. When I look at System Report, it shows my machine as an iMac 14,2 with an i5 chip vs my i7. Not sure if this is limiting the processing power etc? Any help is appreciated : )

Hey everyone, new here. I built a Hackintosh about 10 years ago that was being used for video editing and was possibly interested in getting back into a new build.
My main uses are FCP for this build. What's the best way to go for hardware, NUC, SFF or buy an older imac/mini? I currently built a PC with a z790, 13700k, 64gb, arc a770 and it blazing fast with DaVinci resolve and premiere Was hoping I could have built a Hackintosh with all that, then read it's not possible. I was considering a mini m1 or new m2 but the lack of expansion is a buzzkill and the pre configurations are insanely expensive.
My main concern is encoding/export speeds

Thinkpad X380 reboot issue
Certainly! Here's a revised version:
"After encountering conflicts for a week, I successfully booted the Hackintosh installer disk using the EFI folder I created. However, in the Disk Utility, when I attempt to add a new volume or format the disk, the installer hangs on 'creating a new APFS volume' or 'erasing...' after about 30 seconds, the machine reboots. I'm puzzled about why it occurs. Additionally, during the installation process, a second reboot happens exactly when there are 12 minutes remaining." So I couldn't successfully build my hackintosh.
The reboot occurs with or without the NVMeFix.kext

Issues installing macOS Monterey on Surface Pro 3
Hi all,
I'm having an issue with hackintoshing my Surface Pro 3. There's already a pre-made kext, which is right here: https://github.com/balopez83/Surface_Pro_3_Hackintosh
I've put the offline installer DMG on my USB via Transmac and then put the Open core files from the GitHub repository into the EFI of the USB. When I boot however, there's the boot chime and then there's no recovery option, just a bunch of exec options. I'm starting to think it's a format issue because Transmac formats in APFS. I'll try Balena Etcher later and get back to this post.
