Thinking seriously of making an AMD Hackintosh. Is this feasible given my current specs given I have an AMD CPU and an Nvidia GPU?
CPU : Ryzen 9 7900x
GPU: Nvidia GTX 3070 TI
MB: Gigabyte B650M Gaming X AX
RAM: 32GB DDR5 RAM
OS: Crucial P5 2TB nvme pcie4 SSD
Storage: Crucial P3 4TB nvme pcie4 SSD
I'm technically proficient, and have previously used OCLP on Mac.
My basic questions are:
Is this Hackintosh a viable idea and if so, where do I start?
What version of macOS should I target?

Fix Vram for not supported iGpu
Hello everyone, sorry for my bed English. I’ve successfully installed macOS Big Sur on my mini pc, that is an intel Alder Lake with an iGPU intel UHD 770. The only problem that I have is only “14mb Display” on my graphics Card, I think due the unsupported iGPU. Is there a fix?

CPU support or SMBIOS?
So, I am a little confused. I‘m new to this whole hackintosh thing, and I’ve only had misses (CPU was never used in any Mac tho). I‘m currently thinking on hackintoshing a 2010-2011 laptop, and I was want to know if, all examples here, I have a 3rd gen Intel processor and I install Ventura with a MacBookPro14,1 SMBIOS, the SMBIOS is for Kaby Lake but the processor ain’t Kaby. It won’t work right? Happy for any answers, even if you repeat something someone has already said.

What is the best way to make a HackBook last longer on MacOS?
I have a Dell Latitude 6430 running MacOS Mojave currently (Upgrade is in progress, without any luck atm) and I want to stretch it's current 2-3 hour of battery life further if possible, and that's why I would be really interested in your experiences.

Mac os installer says (the recovery server could not be contacted)
So i boot into the macOS high sierra installer and when I click continue it gives me a error message that says "the recovery server could not be contacted"

I'm new to this subreddit and I wanted to see if any one could help me with an issue I'm having with my Hackintosh build:

* What part I got an issue with:
I was able to get an install of Mac OS on the computer. I can see all the set-up process, choose my hard drive and generally get it installed after a few reboots. However, after it reaches the "Welcome" screen, I only see a black screen with my cursor on it. I know Mac OS installed, because the audio descriptor helper can be heard from my speakers. I'm not sure where the issue is as I can boot into the recovery and still see picture with no problems. Can anyone help me understand what I'm doing wrong? Below is my EFI that I'm using.

Magic mouse laggy

Metal GPU Utilization under Sonoma
Hello, how is you gpu utilization under load with sonoma?
6800xt here. It should score 10500 under cinebench r24 but it scores only 7k.
Cpu benches are ok but metal only utilizes gpu at 70-75-80%.
Tried with different benchmarks. Do you mind giving a roll on your system?
cinebench r24 cpu bench are 130-2100 single/multi.
blackmagic raw 130 - 400.

Ryzen 7 5800h laptop
Hi all.
I tried to make a Ryzentosh but the installer won't boot. I'm using a HP Pavilion gaming 15-ec2xx laptop. I attached my EFI folder and some opencore logs if anyone can help me or clarify what is wrong. I've used Noot and Dortania guides to the best of my knowledge to do this.

OpenCore Auxiliary Tools (OCAT)
I found OCAT this weekend and it appears to be better than Sanity Checker as it can fix and update config files to the latest OpenCore

Well, title.
I can do all kinds of remaps in VoodooPS2Keyboard, but these two send extra Alt/Ctrl keypresses. Apparently kext has some logic for them that executes even before remapping.

Hello, I'm looking to Hackintosh my Matebook D15. But I came across some Posts that claim the Audio doesnt work which made me try the new way with Proxmox (didnt went well because using Proxmox with Wifi is almost impossible). Some people claimed that it will work with Ventura but I wanted to ask if it would work with Sonoma

Best computer parts for a hackintosh running macOS 14 Sonoma
I installed macOS catalina on a second laptop as a test. I'm saving for a gaming PC. And now I plan to dual boot Windows and Hackintosh.
So my question is which parts are best for a hackintosh? (macos sonoma) And then preferably parts where you can easily get it working. Audio should work on my second laptop, but I was unable to do so. I would like a sound card that actually works straight away. I still find adjusting the config.plist quite difficult. Although I do get the basic things done.
What I want in my computer:
An Intel processor
All standard things such as graphics card etc
DVD player for games. (I have a lot of old games on dvd-rom)
Wifi card
My budget is €1000, but I can possibly increase it to €1500. I know that I can look at the hardware list to see what is supported, but I just want to be sure because it is quite a lot of money.
