Need help hackintosh Kernel Panic on Invalid frame pointer(OPENCORE HP Workstation Z210 SSF with Gt710)
I was stuck for the past weekend at the time of writing this trying to boot mac os big sur with easy fixable issues but one if these issues where not easily fixable to me I am gaining suspicion of the config.plist of being the culprit of the issue anyways I can't upload my entire EFI folder just the config plist sorry about that.

Is there any way to disable moving the touchpad to wake on Big Sur?
My laptop has an issue where something touches on one area of the touchscreen when the lid is closed, so the laptop fails to sleep. This isn't an issue in Windows since it doesn't wake from touchscreen touches, but macOS wakes from touchpad movements (the touchscreen emulates a touchpad). Is there a way to disable that?

How can I change the name of the device shown in About this Mac? So I can set it to "ThinkPad" or "PC" instead of MacBook Pro or Mac Pro.

Laptop doesn't see opencore
What could be the problem? Moreover, if i install clover through the application and select "install to Boot0af", clover will boot without usb stick, but i don't know what to do with the opencore, it doesn't boot without usb stick

The motherboard manual doesn't really tell me the audio codec and ethernet card specifically.

Thunderbolt Issue
Hi,
Ive been trying to hackintosh my system for 2 weeks now and I got a new NVME as my previous one wasnt working. Now im trying to figure out how I can fix this thunderbolt error. I am unable to turn off thunderbolt via BIOS and dont know if its possible through RU.efi. It is a Lenovo C940 with an i5 IceLake, 8G Ram, WD SN580 NVME ssd and 1 USB A port and 2 USB C ports. with that being said .. My system in short is amd ry75600g with xfx swft 210 rx6600xt / 32gb ddr4 on am4 b550 wifi+ with 1tb nvme sloted ssd and standard cooler with processor. nothing special but not weak by any means..
I started the above project when I was having trouble with my apple devices and their batteries failing here recently and it's been three days so far and in one like "VBoxManage setextradata "mac OS Monterey" "VBoxInternal/Devices/smc/0/Config/GetKeyFromRealSMC" 1" i changed the value of 1 to 0 in one instance and even removed it when the screen stuck and nothing has changed.

I am still waiting for the screen to boot and have left it as long as an hour before shutting it down... moved it to 8 cpu to 1cpu and no luck.
I followed this guide in the linked video to get it going. i even cross referenced 4 other videos and they all said the same thing..

I am on windows 11 home if that makes a difference...

I even broke down and have tried 5 different iso's i've found across the web to do this with... I don't know what i'm doing wrong,

I don't know what sources may or may not be safe and if i'm basically downloading the equivelent of the password protected empty torrent with impossible password on it etc.. (no i didn't download this guys iso though, went through several google searches until i found a set of links that kept going back to the same site..)

one other thing I want to note is this.. I know I am way too new or noob to even try something and expect it to be so simple. Things were much easier trying to install linux into a virtual machine.. so whatever you guys do to get this stuff to work, you are masters compared to linux setup..

Small hackintosh wifi related question
Hello, I have macos ventura on my laptop (asus vivobook s510uq) and everything works normal including wifi, but when I boot it up it wont connect to my wifi automatically even though auto join is enabled in the settings, I dont think there is a problem with my kexts, the wifi does work properly when I manually connect and has blazing-fast speeds. It's just annoying that I have to connect my wifi manually. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Cannot receive any signal after iGPU Acceleration UHD 630
Hello guys, this is my PC:
CPU: i3 10105
GPU: UHD 630
RAM: Kingston Fury 8GB 2666Mhz
Motherboard model: Gigabyte H510M H (1 HDMI port - 1 VGA port)
OS: Ventura
Currently, I'm using an HDMI port to connect the monitor and -igfxvesa (no GPU acceleration) to boot the PC.
I want to make my GPU Acceleration work and I follow this website https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Post-Install/gpu-patching/intel-patching/connector.html to patch connector type (I'm using HDMI port). But I cannot find anything related to `AppleIntelFramebuffer@X`, this is from my PC.
My IGPU Information
So I try to replace the conX to con0framebuffer-patch-enable = 01000000 framebuffer-con0-enable = 01000000 framebuffer-con0-type = 00080000
Then I removed the -igfxvesa and rebooted, then I got the issue that my monitor showing Cannot found any signal.

Expanded EFI Partition and no boot
Hi all!
I extended the EFI partition through minitool partition wizard and moved all of the previous EFI files into the newly created EFI, but now i can't boot macOS anymore. it just boots Windows and i'm not getting the OC picker as i had before. My previous EFI was of 100 MB so i couldn't use it as much, and i needed to do it. i followed this guide to expand my EFI.

I need advice for buying two airport cards for my hackintoshes
As the title says, I need advice for buying two airport cards because I need them for getting back continuity features. I have an intel i7 17000, 16gb of RAM, intel UHD graphics 630 (I disabled the 1660 ti) build (I used the iMac20,1 SMBIOS and it's on macOS Sonoma) and an intel i5 4460, 8gb of ram, intel HD graphics 4600 build (I use the iMac 14,4 SMBIOS and it's on macOS Monterey). Can I put whatever airport card I see on the dortania's open core guide or do I have to get an airport card that's more close to those two SMBIOS?

Hackintosh/Sonoma USB-C port not working
I am using a designare z390. When I plug a drive into the usb-c port, it powers up the drive, but it won't mount it. I tested the drive on another computer and it works fine.
Does anyone know how to get the usb-c ports working correctly?

Airport card in laptop
Hello there, this may be a newbie question but i didn’t find any answer anywhere. i got a m2 free slot in my laptop. I found plenty of wlan card for sale on my local marketplace and was wondering why the dortania guide says i still need an adapter. will it work without that said adapter? got nice offers for the BCM94360CS2 - and i understood it also does the bluetooth part. Otherwise was looking for the BCM94360NG (but i read that lenovo laptop does have kind of a whitelist, however on my ideapad S340 got no problem booting with an intel wlan card).

CFG Lock…
Hi there, i want to disable cfg lock on my hp compaq 6200 pro. Opencore logs says that it’s enabled, also system won’t boot without AppleCpuPmCfgLock quirk. I downloaded uefitool from GitHub, opened my bios, entered cfg lock to the search and uefitool sayed that no results were found. So, how to disable CFG Lock on this fw. Thanks in advance

Ryzentosh wake from sleep black screen
6 days ago posted success story MacOS on Thinkbook with R5 6525u herethe only 2 issues left to fix are: Iservices unable to login , but more importantly black screen upon wake from sleep ONLY IF SOMETHING IS PLUGGED TO USB PORT. The system works i can hear sound but screen remains black and i need to hard shut down laptop.
Now, i followed guide at least half a dozen times to do DDST , search the internet for days, nothing it just doesn't work, I tested with BT Dongle plugged and USB Wifi plugged. At this moment i am completely lost on how to fix this and probably do not understand ACPI Patching if thats the case, anyone has ideas or points?

Stuck at OpenCore Loading with MacOs Ventura
Hello guys,
First time posting here, but not first Hackintosh.
Before everything here is my laptop: Hp 250 G6 with Intel I3-6006u, HD 520 graphics and 500GB HDD
Ok so I already successfully made an hackintosh with Cataline some time ago with everything working (Only a little bug with the battery level warming)
And now I'm here trying to make a new one with Ventura, but I'm stuck at the loading of opencore after selecting the macos installation on the boot menu.
I followed the guide of opencore, and since my CPU is skylake generation ad the guide says I used the SMBIOS of a Kabylake CPU.
I gave a look to the troubleshooting section on the opencore guide but either i'm not understanding what the logs says or I can't find this issue on the guide.
I don't know where to look to solve this issue, probably also because with Catalina I didn't have big issues so I do not have too much experience in throubleshooting.
If I forgot something please tell me and I'll add asap, I hope some of you can help me.

Ryzentosh for ROG Strix AMD Advantage Edition
I'm reaching out to the community because I've encountered a bit of a roadblock while attempting to set up a Ryzentosh on my Asus ROG Strix G15 AMD Advantage Edition.
Here are the specs of my system:
CPU: Ryzen 9 5900HX
GPU: AMD Radeon RX6800M
RAM: 16 GB DDR4
SSD: Samsung 860 EVO 1 TB
I've been trying different configurations with my EFI folder and experimenting with various SMBIOS settings, but unfortunately, I keep getting stuck after loading the ACPI AML tables. The specific message I see is "pci flags 0xc0080."
I initially tried using the MacPro 6,1 SMBIOS, but that resulted in a prohibitory sign. I then attempted MacPro 7,1, showing the pci flag.
To give you a better idea of my setup, I'm going to attach my EFI folder to this thread. If anyone has experience with similar configurations or has successfully set up macOS on a system with these specifications, your guidance would be greatly appreciated.

MacOS Big Sur on legacy BIOS
Hi everyone,
i'm trying to install macOS Big Sur on m legacy BIOS pc.
here are the specs:
CPU: Intel i5- 760
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5400
RAM: 16GB DDR3
ROM: 1TB

This PC is very old and i don't know much about hackintosh so can someone guide me through the installation?
I tried but it can't boot i don't know why even though i've set up duetPKG.
