Seeking guidance for a step-by-step process on dual-booting Windows 11 and macOS Sonoma on separate drives. Can someone assist me in installing macOS for dual booting?

Alc4080 z690 spdif toslink random disconnection
Hello is anyone using this codec with usb connection from motherboard seen as ‘ Realtek usb2’ and having randomically no audio output on spdif?
Firmware is updated. I don’t understand what could be the cause. A reboot resolves the issue. No sleep in between working and non working.

BCM2045A on Mojave
I have a usb bluetooth dongle that I created from the Nintendo Wii chipset. It is automatically detected by the Linux kernel and shows up as ID 057e:0305 Nintendo Co., Ltd Broadcom BCM2045A Bluetooth Radio [Nintendo Wii\]. How can I get this working in Mojave with OpenCore? It shows up in system report and I have the bluetooth icon in system preferences but there are no devices listed.

The hackintosh worked before my BIOS update to version 1601 from 1401 as I want resizable bar support, after the BIOS update, my hackintosh stopped working even though I revert to my previous BIOS settings and stuck on "Unsupported module-level executable opcode 0x70 at table offset 0x47AB0 (20160930/psloop-285)"

Advice Much Appreciated
Hey, I have a couple questions, so please bear with me:
- MacBook Pro 2011 has Hackintosh on it, so it’s running OS Sonoma. Its optical drive/CD drive does not work, and so I tried the Super Drive. It briefly runs before shutting off. Is there a way to get the optical drive to work, or alternatively to get the Super Drive to work?
- I have a 2010 MacBook Pro that still works, just crashes occasionally and the internet speed isn’t what it once was. Runs OS 10. Is there a way to reasonably extend its life and functionality?

Lagging experience on Ventura 13.6.1
I have successfully installed macOS Ventura on my PC, but I’m experiencing lagging on cursor moving, app opening, etc and freezing when try to open videos on Youtube for instance.
My build is based on: CPU I5 13600k
GPU: Gigabyte RTX 4080
Motherboard: Asus TUF Gaming Z690-plus WIFI
Ram: 32GB

Instead of GenSMBIOS, can I copy values from a real Mac, clone the drive onto my hackintosh, and have my software think it's still on the old Mac?
I'm wondering if I can do this, because I have software on an old Mac mini that is licensed to the hardware, and can only be activated on Yosemite and down (due to SIP being introduced in El Capo).
I'm currently working on a Yosemite installer for an AMD Ryzen rig, so that I can install and activate this software on Yosemite, and then afterwards upgrade to a later macOS, but I don't think it'll work, as a couple of kexts require 10.13 or later.
This makes me wonder if I could simply clone the drive in my mini (which runs 10.13.6), mod the EFI partition with OpenCore, spoof the hardware info, and - poof - have the software still work.
Is this possible? And if so, where can I find the hardware strings to use?

Dual Hack-Win11 4090+6900xt - i9-14900 KF
I installed a 4090 and 6900xt on the same machine, the AMD just for MacOS.
Then I compiled SSDT-GPU-DISABLE.dsl --> SSDT-GPU-DISABLE.aml to disable NV in Opencore.
But I am not sure is it is actually disabled.. how can we make sure of it?
By the way, I am not able to boot the machine with secure boot enabled.
It's on Opencore 0.96, all EFI's are signed, it just reboots when I enable Secure Boot on Bios (keys included there)
Also, I cannot see any core over 5Ghz.. might it be cause of the chosen SMBios?I am on MacPro7,1, when I choose iMAC1,1 ... I loose the keyboard .. :(

OpenCore appears to work but MacOS freezes during boot.
Hey!
I'm new to the whole hackintosh thing. I have personally played around with virtual hackintoshes before, but I wanted to try to set up an actual hackintosh running barebones with OC when my gf asked for one.
I am at the stage where I need to ask for help as I can't find the answer myself on the internet. I have followed dortanias guide to the best of my abilities. See my config. OpenCore appears to work fine, I can select MacOS but when it boots I get stuck on different errors. I have also at some point managed to get it to "boot" but leave me on a blank grey screen. To be clear, I haven't even come to the MacOS recovery or anything. I am still just trying to get to the installer.

I have installed macOs Sonoma on i3 4170 with intel 4400 graphics and I have patched it with OCLP after booting suddenly it will freezes When it freezes the cursor will vanish after some times and no response (but the graphics are working)
Is there any way to fix this is it because of smbios or latest version of Sonoma please help me out

Why can this hackintosh even get to the Recovery?
Specs:
CPU: i7 2600
dGPU: 750ti
iGPU: intel HD 2000
Motherboard: Dell XPS 8300
Target: Monterey.
Why can this hackintosh even boot to Recovery? It's configured to boot the gpu 750ti. I haven't even installed the web drivers. No OCLP used, just how?

Kernel panic: watchdog timeout
I recently installed macOS Sonoma with OpenCore and I sometimes get these kernel panics. The pc will gradually start to become very unresponsive and it restarts after a couple of minutes. From all the times it happened the error falls into one of the two categories:
1. panic(cpu 2 caller 0xffffff801705bfb1): watchdog timeout: no checkins from watchdogd in 187 seconds (2494 totalcheckins since monitoring last enabled), shutdown in progress, vfs shutdown not yet started (full\_log)
2. panic(cpu 4 caller 0xffffff8006a5c89b): userspace watchdog timeout: no successful checkins from WindowServer (2 induced crashes) in 120 seconds (full\_log)
It seems to happen when I do something GPU intensive but I am not too sure. Last time it happened I tried to send a large video with iMessage but I don't know if it's related.
My specs are:

Hi all,
I tried asking macgaming if there was a macbook that could support my need for the apple ecosystem (I use imessages and facetime a lot on my current macbook) with the option to play fortnite with a good fps in bootcamp. I didn’t get the answer I was looking for..
So that brings me here.. what is the most hackintoshible laptop that I can dual boot into macOS (for apple ecosystem) during the day and play fortnite/GTA sometimes on the window’s partition?

Got MacOS already on my old PC but upgraded and had to install from scratch. After some problems it's now working flawlessly. Even my 1440p 165Hz Monitor works great (Had to use this: https://github.com/xzhih/one-key-hidpi/blob/master/README.md to get proper scaling)
I need MacOS basically just for developing IOS and MacOS Apps because Apple does what Apple does best and forcing you to use Apple products for developing.

Glitches when spoofing HD 530 as HD 630
Hi, I am running macOS Sonoma 14.1.2 (23B92) on my Skylake desktop build. I only have a single ultrawide display connected to my dGPU.

While the new OS mostly runs pretty well on this unsupported hardware I get glitches in some apps. So far I noticed:
Red backgrounds flashing in Safari when closing tabs (only briefly visible)
Garbled animated covers in [Music.app](https://Music.app)
Color tint and split screen when using the new video screeensavers/wallpapers.

I tried to inject AAPL,GfxYTile with the value 01000000 but I didn't notice any changes. When I boot with -wegnoigpu to disable the iGPU the glitches are gone but so is hardware acceleration.

Does anybody have an idea how to get rid of these glitches while keeping hardware acceleration enabled? I really like some of the features in Sonoma and it fixed some bugs in apps that I use daily.

I have installed macOs Sonoma on i3 4170 with intel 4400 graphics and I have patched it with OCLP after booting suddenly it will freezes When it freezes the cursor will vanish after some times and no response (but the graphics are working)
Is there any way to fix this is it because of smbios or latest version of Sonoma please help me out

Touchpad gestures only work on touchscreen, not on touchpad.
On my Vaio SVF15A15CDB running Big Sur, touchpad gestures only work on the touchscreen, I don't have them on the touchpad. How can I fix this?
Note - I cannot adjust the touchpad settings, as the laptop does not have a battery (macOS doesn't show the touchpad in settings if you don't have a battery)
Basic specs:
* CPU: i5-3337u
* GPU 1: Intel HD Graphics 4000
* GPU 2: NVIDIA GeForce GT 735M (disabled with SSDT -- GPU is connected via Optimus)
* Touchpad: Synaptics I2C
* Touchscreen: I2C of some sorts
* Audio: Realtek ALC233
* Wi-Fi: Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205
* Ethernet: Realtek RTL8168/8111

Refind disappears after OCLP Somona boot
Hello, I've got Somona working with OCLP on a 13.1 iMac. I've also got Linux Mint installed on a different partition.
However, I'm unable to access Refind at startup after booting Sonoma. All I can access is the Sonoma partition.
I think Somona might be messing with the SIP but I've got no idea really.
Please help!
