Intel i3-5005U Audio Not working
I finished setting up my hackintosh but there seems to be no audio coming from it. It's my first time building a hackintosh and so far everything was going smoothly
I figured out my codec was ALC3234 Realtek
I added all the possible layout-id's with the alcid=xxx boot-args, but no luck
I also tried adding my pcie address directly through with the requirements but no luck
And for context I am using AppleALC.kext's latest version too.
I'm not really sure what the issue could be.
Tried various blogs and docs but no luck
I also thought that maybe it could be an issue with the SSDTs since i got them from a git repo for my laptop

Fenvi BCM94360NG Wi-Fi Card. Any special configuration to work on Ventura?
Please: In the Sonoma with OCLP it works at the maximum available speed, but in the Ventura I only reached about 60% of the available speed.
My Hackintosh is an Intel Desktop.

Mojave: crash on gray screen with cursor post-install
This is an issue I had with Clover originally, so I switched to OpenCore, yet it still persists.
Basically, installation went just fine, however the computer simply hangs just a second or two once the GUI pops up post-install. I assume it's a kernel panic, but no crash dumps are shown. In Clover I was able to prevent GPU drivers from fully loading, and got a glimpse of the panicking part (com.apple.iokit.IOPCIFamily), but I wasn't able to do the same with OC, and neither did disabling the loginwindow service help, so I can't tell you if the exact same issue occurs 100%.
The machine in question has the following specs:
\- Intel Core 2 Duo E8400
\- 6GB DDR2 600
\- Acer EG43M board
\- NVidia Quadro FX 3800 (i tried with an AMD R7 360, but that one hanged without even getting to spawn the GUI, and it too didn't dump a panic)

Please mind the rather messy directory tree, I've been enabling and disabling certain drivers and kexts hoping I'd get it to work, but to no avail. I followed the dortania guide and related Yonah/Allendale/Penryn parts, but I had to take additional steps as the docs are a bit outdated.

iOS is Catalina 10.15.7
No changes to Bios or updates besides cloning hard drive using carbon copy cloner. Used clover to mount and put EFI on new M.2. I did change the CMOS battery too but reloaded old profile in bios settings.
Is this normal? I just don’t see why adding a faster read write makes for longer boot. To be clear I mean from the moment I hit the power button to Bios splash screen. The actual EFI and load of the operating system is still the same time to boot.

Brightness, Audio and Low resolution problem
I have recently upgraded my hp 820 g3 laptop from monterey to ventura. Now brightness and sound is not working on my laptop. Prior to upgrade, I already did update of opencore version to latest one (0.9.6) and updated all the opencore files. What problems could be there.

Updating Mac Type to Upgrade MacOS
I switched from Clover to OpenCore a few years back and it's been absolutely flawless so I've left my config alone and experienced zero issues. The only problem is that when I did the original config with OC 0.6.0, I selected iMac 15,1 (mid-2015) which won't allow me to upgrade beyond Big Sur.
I have downloaded OC 0.9.6 and updated my OC Configurator, anyone have a tutorial on how can I update the model information without changing/upsetting my configuration or making any other changes so that I can upgrade to MacOS 13/14?

Safari acceleration (experimental features)
Hi, is there any way to speed up safari?
When I have a lot of bookmarks on the main screen, a new tab (and in general moving through the tabs is delayed, and scrolling through the list of bookmarks looks like it's freezing).
I moved all my bookmarks to a folder and now a new tab is created much faster.
Also, when I scroll sharply up on YouTube for example, I first see a white screen and then the content appears (I don't remember this on Catalina).
Is there anything I can poke around in the experimental functions?
The only thing I've enabled so far is WebGL via Metal (because without this feature and me in google maps artifacts)

Hey Question about iServices and airportltlwm
Hi,
I’m going to upgrade from Ventura to Sonoma but I heard that with Airportltlwm.kext that you cannot use iServices. Is there a work around while still using airportltlwm? What things are considered “iServices” other then iMessage and FaceTime? Any estimate when airportltlwm will have an update to enable such iServices?

Successfully installed macOS Ventura in the 12th gen!
This ain't my 1st build but very impressed with the result so far.
Different SMBIOS can affect to GeekBench scroe, but i think the iMacPro SMBIOS is the best one.

Hello, I'm new to hckintoshing and I'm stuck. On my display it says "OC: Watchdog status is 0" and I don't know what to do. Should I just wait for it to go away?

After a while, I was able to get Hackintosh working on my laptop

The main problem was USB, but that was solved by RyzenUSBXHCI, which I found out about recently
Almost everything works perfectly except for a few items:
1. Wifi, bluetooth works thanks to BlueToolFixup, but for now I'm having a hard time getting by without wifi, so I'll have a compatible module soon.
2. Coolers, they have 2 modes: almost inaudible, humming, so it's very hard to sit without headphones, no cooler control.
3. Sleep, surprisingly, but there are almost no problems with it, only if you go into sleep mode (exactly sleep mode, not just close the lid of the laptop) then after about an hour of this mode from it is no longer out of it, the picture will not be.
Well and a mini problem with the support of applications, for example, I could not play hearts of iron 4 and factorio with steam.
I'll consider any possible suggestions to solve any problems, I'm sure I did something wrong because I did the EFI in 3 hours and stole the ACPI to run the touchpad from another EFI.
I should add that I used the Opencore Guide for config.plist and the Noot AMD Hackintosh Guide for everything else

When booting from my EFI USB stick I can't choose an OS, I only get the option windows (See foto: https://imgur.com/a/dvK09FK). In the OC log files I get the following message:

USB Keyboard keeps disconnecting after boot..
Just installed my new Sonoma Hackintosh and every time when I boot my usb keyboard disconnects and is apparently stuck, the bluetooth keyboard/trackpad from apple keep working so it's not that everything disconnects. I've tried to use both 2.0 and 3.0 usb ports but that doesn't seem to make a difference.
On windows everything functions like normal so I'm pretty sure the keyboard isn't the problem. When I disconnect and reconnect the keyboard it works just fine after that.
Does anyone know what this could cause perhaps? I'd love to know, thanks!

Easiest way to clone/move Hackintosh from one M2 drive to another?
Hello!
I'm on Ventura 13.5.1 using Opencore 0.9.4, everything working perfectly. It's a dual boot in a single drive (Samsung 1TB 970 Evo Plus M.2), which has a 500GB partition for Mac and a 500GB partition for Windows.
But now I'm running out of space, so I bought another drive (WD BLACK 2TB SN850X). Now that I have two drives, I'd like to move Mac to the 2TB drive (which would be the main one) and keep Windows in the older Samsung 1TB drive.
What would be the easiest/safest way to handle this without losing any data?
