After almost 4 days of mental torture I finally managed to install Sonoma on my PC.
I'm dual booting Sonoma (I use windows as my main)
It's kind of slow but I'm going to try to increase the performance because I haven't really done much of post installation, I have only enabled my APU's graphics.
MY SPECS:
CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 3400G
GPU : AMD Radeon RX Vega 11 Graphics
RAM : Crucial Ballistix 8GB 3200 Mhz (x2)
Motherboard: MSI B450M PRO-VDH MAX

However I'm still a little confused, I have some issues/doubts and I'll list them out here :
\- When I try to open Chrome my Mac crashes and restarts itself
\- When I login the wallpaper is gray for a while and then the default wallpaper appears after a while
\- How do I install Wi-fi drivers for my pc on Mac?? (I use TP Link Nano T2U Wifi Adapter)

Is there an upper limit for what could run certain older Mac OSX versions? What would be the newest machine that can still run OSX 10.14?
I use a hackintosh with a Z87 mainboard with 32gb ram and a 4gb graphics card to run 10.14 since it is the latest OS that can run my legit Photoshop CS6 - and the idea to have a more modern machine with 128gb ram and better graphics cards intrigues me (I make panorama's with many photo's for instance and create large collages with many layers).
Now the graphics card might be more of a bottle neck, but I might be mistaken.

NootRX on a RX 6750XT isn't booting
I'm currently trying to install MacOS Ventura on this config:
* Galax B550M
* Ryzen 7 5700G
* AMD RX 6750 XT
I'm using the NootRX kext. I still haven't installed the OS because if I don't use NootRX, I can't even get past the AppleACPICPU thing. I'm following Dortania's Guide.

Anybody had this issue?
Any ideas appreciated. I'm nearly run out off options. I've searched mbr_cache via terminal and even opened install volume via VirtualBox (running macOS, finder) still didn't find any. Reinstalled MacOS with offline install method still got the same.

Greetings. I have an HP Omen 15 laptop with Ryzen 7 5800H CPU. It has Vega 8 iGPU. Using NootedRed and Dartonia guides I was able to load recovery menu. Dowloaded OS and installed it. After install is finished I got this error. It reboots to boot menu after. Any ideas?
I've tried this but couldn't complete it. Will add photo.Was using Whatevergreen (while needed NootedRed) to pass install phase, swapped to NootedRed but it refused to load OS.

Changing About this Mac Information on macOS Sonoma
Hello. I just wanted to ask if someone has successfully managed to change the information in the 'About this Mac' section. My main goal is to change the iMac picture and alter the model name to 'PowerMac G4' since my Hackintosh is in a PowerMac G4 case. I tried to find the Assets.car file, but the one in the System Profiler App doesn't contain the pictures for the models.
I also can't find anything under /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/SystemDesktopAppearance.framework/Versions/A/Resources/.
Does anybody know where the images of the different models are stored? Thanks in advance.

Help dell optiplex 9020/ Intel HD 630 graphics card issue
I had my hackintosh running ventura with no issues for the past year. last night while going on an hour or so of sleep, i decided to update the kexts so i can upgrade to sonoma. Since my research said update kext and opencore first. well stupid me didnt backup my efi correctly and now i have a issue. my video output isnt outputting anything, however my remote desktop is working fine. I have a dell optiplex XE3 with a Intel HD 630 graphics card. the past night ive been looking into everything, and i cant tell whats went wrong. I need help, please help

First big thanks to this subreddit for the help during the process setting everything up. And I have managed to daily drive this for almost a month now.
And except airdrop (as expected) everything is working. Even managed to get the thunderbolt port to work, syncing my phone and computer.

* Bluetooth - yes (but not connecting to my IP15P or Apple Watch S6)
* Touch screen - yes (do a real Mac have this, I think not)

However there is one issue I have. Screen flickering, especially in more “CPU/GPU heavy” tasks scrolling/loading content from the web and so on. [Here is a slowmotion video of the issue](https://www.reddit.com/user/Wirior/comments/1828r3q/hackintosh_screen_flickering_in_slowmotion/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3). TLDR: The screen freezes for a moment, and “overflows” bleeding out the content on the screen, before turning black and repeat.
I found this Git post about it and it sounds similar to my issue [PRESS HERE](https://github.com/hieplpvip/ASUS-ZENBOOK-HACKINTOSH/issues/73).
Before I go on the journey of changing my EFI again I wanted to ask r/hackintosh for their input? Is this maybe a simple fix (I could easily have missed a step setting up the EFI correctly)? Or what is your input?

Can't Get Audio to Work no matter what i try
I have a Dell Optiplex 750 Micro with an Intel Core i7 6700T running macOS Sonoma. The audio card in it is a Realtek ALC3234. I've tried various alcid values such as 11, 1, 2, 3, 5, 69, 255, 15, and 17, but I still can't get the audio to work.
Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Not so long ago I installed macOS Ventura on my computer and made a post about it. But the fact is that due to the fact that I did not put enough effort to find the right smbios, I put the wrong one, or to be more precise, I put iMac19,1 instead of the iMac19,2 I needed. And because of this, I assume that the gpu is not working correctly because the VDA Decoder : Decoder Failed. I am very afraid to change smbios because I have a patched with OCLP gtx1050ti graphics card, which is determined by the system and works well. Please tell me what sequence of actions is required from me to change smbios in my case.

SOLVED Run Android Emulator in intel Hackintosh
Recent Intel hackintosh fails to run android emulator. The reason is intel added new features that Apple will never support. Android emulator wants to use these features and fails to boot. Solution?
Run the following command in your terminal.

FaceTime: No incoming video problem solution
I’ve seen this in various places without a fix. Here‘s what finally worked for me.
My Hack: Skylake 6700K with AMD RX 570 on macOS Ventura 13.6:
-radcodec unfairgva=1 igfxmetal=1 gfxrst=1 -igfxsklaskbl igfxfcms=1 igfxonln=1
As far as I understand:
\-radcodec enables my RX570
The rest of the arguments enable Skylake iGPU
And
Unfairgva=1 allows me to watch AppleTV with:
defaults write com.apple.AppleGVA gvaForceAMDKE -boolean true
But this disables FaceTime decoding, to make FaceTime usable again:
defaults write com.apple.AppleGVA gvaForceAMDKE -boolean false
