Hey everyone! I cannot launch any apple services (iCloud, iMessage, etc) I’m trying to config my smbios and everywhere talking about rom and mbr. As they told, I need a real rom and mbr from real Mac. Can I take rom and mbr from MacBook, if I’m using smbios for MacPro 7,1?

Hello Community,
im new in Hackintoshing and have a problem. I have a Skylake Processor and MacOS Monterey runs perfectly on it. Now I bought a Radeon R9 255 that should be supported out of the box. After installing the Graphic cards my whole Installation don’t work. I don’t get any display connection from Onboard or Graphiccard and now i have to reinstall it. Do I have to look for a kext for the graphiccard or what I have to do. I traided my GTX1050 for that R9 255

laptop very slow on battery
hi all.
i have acer swift 5 (sf514-52t). i7 8550u (kaby lake refresh), 8gb ram, 256gb sata ssd, uhd 620. smbios mbp15,2.
installed sonoma yesterday (havent tried other os yet). everything is working as usual. however, hackintosh is extremely slow when running on battery power. SSDT-PLUG-DRTNIA enabled or disabled no difference. smbios mbp 15,4 + 16,3 tried also no difference.
using istat menus for monitoring. when plugged into charger, geekbench 6 benchmark, i hit 15w quite alot, resulting in around 3200+ multicore.
on battery, only once hit 12w, mostly 2w to 3w. GB6 takes alot of time to finish (and i didnt finish it, so slow). doing anything in mac os also significantly slow. unuseable on battery.
x86platform plugin is loaded in ioregexplorer.
where can i improve this? i read about SSDT power management, dortania page. said "SSDT-PLUG is not required on macOS 12.3 and up." I have not ventured into manual ssdt yet due to this statement.

SIDEQUESTION: can opencore has multiple config.plist, a la clover? in clover i can select whatever plist i want it to use before loading into hackintosh partition.

Catalyst apps have blurry fonts
I've noticed that Catalina's Catalyst apps (News and Stocks) have blurry fonts on non-retina displays. I've tried looking around google, but it keeps pulling up results for people with real macs, who are recommended to disable font smoothing. For me, this does not help - News app remains blurry, and all system fonts lose aliasing.
I've also tried --args -AppleMagnifiedMode YES, no effect
Does this issue remain unsolved?
PS I'm on HD3000, running Catalina with Dosdude's patcher, in case that matters

Is this possible to hackintosh?
I’m very new to the hackintosh scene. I have an older core 2 duo laptop that I thought might be able to be hackintoshed. I know that compatibility can be difficult with laptops so I wanted to see if anyone could help. I don’t necessarily care what macOS version I can run on it as long as it works well enough. I think I remember at one point possibly putting iDeneb on it but I don’t remember.
It is a sony vaio vgn-fw140e laptop.

After successful install, computer reboots after showing the Apple logo
Hey all!
I've been stuck on Mojave for a while (having used Hackintosh since Snow Leopard), and with every bit of software telling me that the OS was no longer supported, decided it was time to upgrade. 😄
I followed the OC documentation, redid the setup a few times.. and finally got into the installer and installed on a different partition. But now, when I try to boot that partition it boots successfully (in verbose mode) and then shows me the Apple logo, as does the USB installer and recovery partition. The USB installer and recovery partition shows it to me for \~10s and then works, however the upgraded partition shows it for \~17s and then just shuts itself down.
There's no kernel panic (debug=0x100 and keepsyms=1), no error that I can see (the messages are flying by too fast, I even tried to take some pictures but they were blurry. I made sure that I didn't have any kexts I didn't need, and tried a few different options but nothing seems to have worked. Here's my config.plist:

I've tried cpus=1 and nv_disable=1, but they didn't help.
I've got a Intel Core i7 8700 running on a Gigabyte 390 UD with 32G RAM, using both the internal graphics and a Radeon RX 570.

MSI GF63 EFI OC: Failed to load Configuration
I am pretty unsure about the state of my laptop running Windows and MacOS but I've been working a couple of months (inconstantly) but I finally thought I had it, the final form of my EFI and I even put it up on GitHub as a Repo but now after using it 2 days ago I formatted my drives to get a clean start to retest. So I downloaded it from my repo and I tested only to get OC: Failed to load Configuration and I'm sure it was working 2 days ago because after doing some final edits on it I uploaded it and It worked so now what?? Is Kingston A400 SATA ssd good enough for Xcode?
I have a windows build with R5 5600 and RX 6600. I only need to use Xcode for a few months, but I don't want to invest a lot in hackintosh or mac yet since I don't know if I'll need it for long. Both my m.2 slots are occupied, so I wanted to go with a cheap sata Kingston A400 240gb for starting, then change to a fancier model if I need to do more stuff. Is this model gonna work fine?

Is RX580 8GB good for hackintosh for light use no gaming?
I've been thinking about getting an Asus Strix RX580 8GB, I have a similar video card from Asus, but it's an nvidia 1080TI video card, so together they would look good on same system. I want to make sure that video card works with hackintosh before purchasing.

Update on the hack
I'm actually proud of this hackintosh and yes it's running Mojave I have tried Ventura, Monterey, Big Sur, Catalina and now Mojave so far it's the most stable for my hack I have been working on it for a while and I even created a GitHub repo for anyone who needs it. I have no choice but to use this or Catalina because "my GPU is too new" for macOS but basically its unsupported because I am using Tiger Lake. anyway I would like some advice for which OS I should use Catalina for better support or Mojave for stability and battery. Honestly either one is alright I'm dual booting Windows and MacOS.

Got a question about Hackintoshing a laptop.
I have a Dell Latitude E5550 and I want to hackintosh it. I did look up some details but it seems to be a very unclear process. I am unfamiliar with hackintoshing as well and would appreciate any advice. What specific macOS version would I use? How would I even install it? I'm sorry if these questions are dumb or something.
The laptop has:

incorrect time when boot ( sonoma - NO dual boot ! )
i have HP machine wich is very known with RTC issue , so i had to add this line to fix POST error in bios

Backing up hackintosh on the cloud ?
Is it possible to clone only my system (32gb without games) into a disk image + a copy of EFI folder and put them on my Icloud storage and call it a day ?
(i have real macs, so it won't be a problem to recreate the partition right ?)
The reason is i don't have any spare drive. And having Filevault on it would a mess to do a normal clone anyway.
