Hackintosh not working
Hello. So I have a dell optiplex 3050 SFF (using dortanias guide), and I did everything. But when I boot into opencore, it gets to the selection just fine. But if I try to use arrow keys, it doesn't work and eventually it times out and boots back into windows.
My specs are:
Intel i5-7500
8GB ram
No dedicated gpu only iGPU
I am trying to install Big Sur on my PC.

Can't get past login screen after installing a new GPU
Hello everyone,
I have been running a Dell Optiplex 9020 (i5-4570,16GB,500gb Sata SSD, using iMac20,1 SMBIOS) with the iGPU for the last few months and it's been great. However, I recently replaced a GPU so I have a Red Dragon RX580 on hand that I wanted to install in the tower (replaced the PSU a while back so it has the right PCI power connections). I am able to boot in safe mode with no graphics acceleration and it picks up the card with 8gb VRAM. However, when I boot normally it won't let me get past the login screen, instead going black after I enter the password and returning to the login screen. I'm guessing something is crashing during the login procedure, but can't tell what.
I have tried iMac Pro 1,1 SMBIOS, but the results are the same. I also removed the boot-args "keepsyms=1 debug=0x100", as I originally booted to a black screen and this fixed it, but now i'm stuck not being able to log in. I also used it in an eGPU enclosure for a previous hack (NUC macmini) and it worked fine there, so I believe it is a compatible model. I also made sure LILU and WhateverGreen are up to date as well.
I feel like this is going to be something simple, but i've been beating my head against the issue for a couple of hours and thought I would ask the experts to see if they had any thoughts.

I made ACPI trough Noot guide. KEXTS from both (without duplicates). Tried to keep Noot as main. For Config I've used Dortania. I think I'm set. OC shows boot options (after hitting space). I select USB, it reads some data and after a short its restarts again.
I have Samsung PM981 - nvme but I have NVMeFix.kext. It says it can however cause boot problems even with fix, but I'm not sure if that it is. User on discord told that this SSD is not supported above Catalina. Even if so, is that actually what prevents Recovery menu to boot?
I can provide config.plist and log if needed.

SUCCESS macOS Sonoma on Ryzen 5 3600, B450 and Radeon RX 6700XT
Works great! No issues whatsoever other than that DRM content on Safari don't work for now, but Firefox works fine. iMessage and all work amazingly.
Only issue I'm experiencing is that I have to do a NVRAM reset every time I want to update macOS, but that's not too bad!

Newbie help needed
Hey guys, I am a newbie to Hackintosh and didn't know this existed until a few days ago.
I am getting into ios development so I need to have a macbook in order to create phone apps.
I have a Lenovo L340 laptop with i7 9th Gen, 16 GB Ram, and 1 TB SSD. It also has Nvidia GEFORCE GTX.
Is it worth installing macintosh on this computer?
If yes, Where do I get started. I know there are a lot of videos and guides online but I am not sure which one to look at. Do you guys have any particular guide that you like?

Hackintosh laptop questions
Hi!
I have successfully built a Hackintosh PC last week using B550M and Ryzen 7 5800X. It has a very expensive GPU. Or at least when I bought it, it was expensive. The documentation of OpenCore was very straightforward. I fixed every issue based on what I read on the docs. Everything is working with macOS Sonoma.
Right now, I have some important projects and have 2 offices so I need something very portable. I could not trade in my MacBook Pro and I prefer to keep it. The last time I gave away a real MBP was when everything failed and all I can recover was the harddrive. This led me to using Hackintosh since 2015. It has been THAT long.
I have questions regrding OpenCore even if I read nearly everything:
1. Can I buy a 13th gen Intel CPU laptop with an AMD Radeon graphics card? Will hackintosh work with that?
2. I currently have a Lenovo Legion 5 Pro with NVDIA graphics card and I have read there is no RTX support. I'm looking at Ryzen 9 laptops that can use macOS. Are there any successful builds for a LAPTOP so far? I haven't seen many new options. The Ryzen 9 was released last year so this is likely a 2022 laptop to be purchased.

Hackintosh a lenovo M710q thinkcentre I3
Guys good day,i researched and found on github efi folders and other sites but i am still getting vebose then it stops and nothing happenes.I reboot then i am met with 3 options and no matter what icon i click the pc reboot and verbose runs and right at the bottom is stops and stays there.
I have done everything correct in bios and its setup correctly.I did try skylake efi for desktop and for notebook and a few other but still cant get it working.

Sonoma Recovery stuck on “Generation from smc report as 2”
I recently updated my opencore to 0.9.6 (latest version as of now, and on ventura 13.2.1 it works and boots fine however when I load the sonoma recovery screen gets stuck on “Generation from smc report as 2”

hda-verb settings don't persist beyond a couple minutes
Using macOS Monterey with OpenCore. Computer is Dell Precision 7720 with an ALC295 card. I have both AppleALC and CodecCommander kexts installed, I assume they're compatible since with them both I am very, very close to fixing distorted audio through my headphones. I also tried ALCPlugFix-swift, which did not work, or there is something there I need to configure but I don't know what to configure. But there was a script I found on elitemacx86 that uses hda-verb to fix this, I can link the post here if needed. Hda-verb fixes everything, but after 1-2 minutes it stops working and I have to return to the terminal to rerun the commands.

The commands I have tried are from the script, they are:
hda-verb 0x19 SETPINWIDGETCONTROL 0x25
hda-verb 0x21 SETUNSOLICITEDENABLE 0x83
Also, I did read the OpenCore guide, tried every layout ID under ALC295 in AppleALC's compatibility list, and dumped DSDT and created a SSDT-HPET.aml and added the necessary stuff for that under ACPI of config.plist.

MacOS Installer not showing up in boot picker
Aight, so ima just quickly explain some background before I tell you my issue. I used OC on my HP 250 G6 (i5) notebook to great success a while back, but I went back to Windows due to some required software. Now, I don't need that software, and I've broken out my old EFI and updated it to see if I can get it to work.
I tried to get it to boot, and I get to the picker but the MacOS Installer never shows up. I've tried everything in the OC General Troubleshooting guide and I'm genuinely at a loss. Debug logs are just completely blank btw, so I'm using RELEASE version.
Anyone got the same problem, or know a way to fix it? I’ve linked my EFI in the comments.

ok so i fixed my random reboot issue and modified my kexts then after finishing setup and like installing some apps i noticed like this one issue where its like the from now and then i feel like the animations lags 1% or 3% you knwo like when i minimize a tab it lags if im doing it for the first time
then i upgraded to sonoma which turned off my wifi and i fixed that using this custom kext
Only use this on Sonoma beta 5 and onwards!
