Can i have some assistance with iservices?
finally trying to get iservices up and running on my hack and I have two questions,
​
the doratania guide has conflicting info about the rom value, should this be derived by 6 digits OUI registered for apple and 6 random, or based on the en0 mac address?
are the file folders for the temporary config during an imessage login attempt the same for sonoma? IE I should wipe these before changing ROM, UUID, Etc
opencoreconfigurator has a platformnvram that it attempts to add to the config, is this necessary for iservices? My config seems to have native nvram support, not sure if this is something that is pulled.

Thus far i'm using ROM 6 from apple, 6random and gensmbios for imac20,2, i was able to login but it promptly kicked me out, not sure if that apple id will be toast?

Issue with updating OpenCore and not able to boot main drive
Hi all,
I have been running a stable system using OpenCore 0.9.1
I decided to update OpenCore before updating to the newest OS. I progressively did the updates on my USB Drive and was able to get it fully working up to OpenCore 0.9.6.
I then copied the EFI from the USB Drive to the main drive. I can still boot off the USB Drive, but I am not able to boot off the main system drive anymore. It has been 9 months since I set this up and I feel like I am forgetting something simple. Is there something small I am forgetting that I need to do to get the main drive booting again?

Hackintosh can't use parallels desktop in ventura..
Hi,I have my win11 vm from monterey, and i tried to use on ventura installing parallels desktop 19, but when i try to run, it says:"Unable to start the virtual machine", i tried also to make new VM on other drive even on HDD but i always receive same error, i tried in custom config of parallels "Hypervisor Parallels" instead Apple, but nothing works... i searched on google and forums everywhere but i don't know where is the issue.I don't know if there something i should change in opencore config, or Bios (Intel VMX for virtualization is enabled).I really hope someone found a workaround for that.Thanks

Logic Pro X 10.5 Error While Trying to Synchronise Audio and MIDI

I'm facing a critical issue with Logic Pro X 10.5 on my current system, and I'm seeking urgent assistance from the community.
System Specifications:
* CPU: Intel Core i9 - 3GHz
* MOBO: GIGABYTE
* RAM: 32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4
* OS Drive: Apple Mojave
* Data Drive: 1TB SSD Hard Disk
Here's the backstory: I was advised by a computer shop to go for a Hackintosh setup when I was planning to update my Mac. Unfortunately, this decision has led to a myriad of problems. Now, whenever I try to open Logic Pro X to work on my music projects (which include over 500 files accumulated in less than a year), I encounter a synchronization error between audio and MIDI. This error not only disrupts the workflow but also freezes the entire system. The only way to regain control is a hard reboot via the CPU.
I'm reaching out to the community in the hope that someone might have encountered a similar issue or has expertise in troubleshooting Logic Pro X on a Hackintosh system. Any guidance on resolving the synchronization error and system freeze would be greatly appreciated.

AMD IdeaPad Flex 5-10ALC05 TrackPad and Touch Screen Confusion
For the past week i have gotten this thing close to finished and i only need the trackpad working to get it fully operational (besides wifi and BT but im going to get an adapter for that). Problem is that for some reason the touch screen is working and the Trackpad is not and i cant for the life of me figure out how to enable it. ive tried following the dortania and voodoo patching guides but everything im looking at is so different from what i see in my own dsdt file. So any help would be appreciated.

NVME sleep/wake problems (H610, Alder Lake, Monterey)
I am having wake issues with NVME SSD. No problems if it is SATA SSD. I know it is specifically related to NVME, either the drive itself and/or Apple IONVMeController.ccp. I don't know if this is just the way it has to be, or if there is actually a solution. Need help, thanks!
**Some key points:**
* NVME goes to sleep okay, but crashes when trying to wake
* SATA SSD sleep/wakes fine as long as an NVME is not connected
* NVMEfix.kext enable/disable does not matter
* SMBIOS doesn't matter between iMacPro1,1 or MacPro9,1

NVME sleep/wake problems (H610, Alder Lake, Monterey)
I am having wake issues with NVME SSD. No problems if it is SATA SSD. I know it is specifically related to NVME, either the drive itself and/or Apple IONVMeController.ccp. I don't know if this is just the way it has to be, or if there is actually a solution. Need help, thanks!
Some key points:
NVME goes to sleep okay, but crashes when trying to wake
SATA SSD sleep/wakes fine as long as an NVME is not connected
NVMEfix.kext enable/disable does not matter
SMBIOS doesn't matter between iMacPro1,1 or MacPro9,1

Hey everyone, I have an Asus Fx505GD with an i5 8300H and GTX1050. I recently installed MacOS Catalina on it, and almost everything works great, but the HDMI port for an external monitor isn't working. Is there any fix for this?

OpenCore black screen after verbose (Ryzen 9 5900HX + iGPU)
Hi,
I'm trying to install Sonoma with OpenCore 0.9.6 on my Razer Blade 14 (Ryzen 9 5900HX | RTX 3060) and I'm following the Dortania guide. I know that the dGPU won't work so I'm using NootedRed for the iGPU. Also, I've replaced my Wi-Fi card with an Intel AX210 since the one that came with the laptop wasn't supported at all.
So I've already spent a few days trying to make this work and I've solved most of the problems but now I've hit a wall - after selecting the installer in the OpenCore menu, it gets pretty far now but then suddenly the screen goes black and I have no idea why this is happening :(

I have a lovely rtl8821ce card in a PCIe x1 adapter that works flawlessly in Linux and Windows 11, buuut not so much in MacOS... what can I get that will work on all three OSes reliably?

iMessage with Wifi dongle
hello, as the title suggests, I need some help getting iMessage to work with a USB WiFi dongle (Cudy WU650).
My laptop is an Acer Extensa 15, Intel i3-1005g1 and a QCA9377 wifi card (big oof). Anyway, everything works perfectly besides built-in wifi. So I decided to get a cheap WiFi dongle and make sure I can get MacOS set up nicely on this laptop before I commit to upgrading my network card. I'm using chris111's method to get the dongle to work with SIP enabled.
I followed dortania's guide to fix iMessage, it worked but I'm only able to use it when I'm connected via ethernet without any problems.
I'm able to use the App Store and iTunes with the dongle but if I try to send a message on iMessage it times out, I get a blue bar at the top of the messages screen and later on a notification that the sending failed.

The message that's read was sent while connected via ethernet, all those not delivered was while connected via the usb dongle
I'm guessing that it's because the connection is via a dongle so is there any way to make MacOS register the dongle's connection as built in?

hello there,
i've been trying to create an efi usb for my Honor Magic Book X15 (with https://github.com/taarkov/Honor-Magicbook-X15-Hackintosh) and although it worked before, it's not anymore.
i've followed multiple tutorials including Dortania's one but nothing worked. i've been trying to redo this hackintosh because I did some weird things with the partitions and it didn't work anymore ; I formated the nvme ssd and I managed to install Ventura multiple times but not to not boot from the USB using mountefi (telling me that there are no efi partition on my usb).
it's currently "booting" (=blackscreen with only the progress bar without the apple logo).
please ask for more infos if you can help me, i'd be glad to try some new things.
