Hackintosh can't use parallels desktop in ventura..
Hi,I have my win11 vm from monterey, and i tried to use on ventura installing parallels desktop 19, but when i try to run, it says:"Unable to start the virtual machine", i tried also to make new VM on other drive even on HDD but i always receive same error, i tried in custom config of parallels "Hypervisor Parallels" instead Apple, but nothing works... i searched on google and forums everywhere but i don't know where is the issue.I don't know if there something i should change in opencore config, or Bios (Intel VMX for virtualization is enabled).I really hope someone found a workaround for that.Thanks

Logic Pro X 10.5 Error While Trying to Synchronise Audio and MIDI

I'm facing a critical issue with Logic Pro X 10.5 on my current system, and I'm seeking urgent assistance from the community.
System Specifications:
* CPU: Intel Core i9 - 3GHz
* MOBO: GIGABYTE
* RAM: 32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4
* OS Drive: Apple Mojave
* Data Drive: 1TB SSD Hard Disk
Here's the backstory: I was advised by a computer shop to go for a Hackintosh setup when I was planning to update my Mac. Unfortunately, this decision has led to a myriad of problems. Now, whenever I try to open Logic Pro X to work on my music projects (which include over 500 files accumulated in less than a year), I encounter a synchronization error between audio and MIDI. This error not only disrupts the workflow but also freezes the entire system. The only way to regain control is a hard reboot via the CPU.
I'm reaching out to the community in the hope that someone might have encountered a similar issue or has expertise in troubleshooting Logic Pro X on a Hackintosh system. Any guidance on resolving the synchronization error and system freeze would be greatly appreciated.

CPU speed stuck at Base Clock (Z690/13900KF)
Hi there. Long time no see.
I've built a second hackintosh with the exact same mobo and CPU as the one I'm running now (Aorus Z690 ELITE DDR4 + 13900KF). I just had to copy my EFI from my first machine and it just works great. However, the only issue is the CPU speed. Mobos BIOS versions are not the same and I assume that may be the issue but I want your two cents on that first.
My first hack: CPU speed up to 5.2 Ghz, which is the setting in the BIOS. HT Off. Scoring around 32K in CB23.
Second hack: CPU speed up to 3.1 Ghz, not corresponding to the 5.2 in the BIOS. HT Off. Scoring around 20K in CB23.
Should I change the BIOS version of the new hack? Or am I missing something? Thank you for your help!

How to block bad RAM chips
MemTest86 confirms that a specific memory region is failing on my 2019 16" MacBook Pro.
How can I block macOS from accessing this memory area? (I'm ready to do a clean install)
Would the "ReservedMemory" parameter in OpenCore do this? Or is there something else that would be better?
Since it's Apple hardware, would it be easiest for me to use OpenCore Legacy Patcher (even though this machine is still supported by Sonoma)?
How would I configure OpenCore to block access to memory given the report from MemTest86 that the following memory addresses are bad (consistent after several runs)?

I need Macos for video editing, Hachkintosh vs M2Max?
I've been using Windows so far but i just need Macos to convert Prores Raw video files into Prores 4444.
So basically i need Macos for a small task, But the thing is i have huge video files to convert.
For Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro, How much of difference will there be between Hackintosh and M2Max?
The Hackintosh setup i'm expecting is 13700K, 32gb Memory, Gen4 SSD, 6900XT or 7900XTX.
Some people say that in video editting the performance on M2Max will be way better but i'm curious because actually 13700K and 7900XTX are more powerful hardwares.

Switching from iGPU to dGPU (Radeon RX 5500m)
I'm currently grappling with a challenge while attempting to switch from my laptop's iGPU to the dGPU i.e., Radeon RX 5500m. Unfortunately, my laptop lacks a mux switch, so I'm trying to direct the display through the HDMI port. I've disabled the iGPU using the following boot flags: -wegnoigpu -wegswitchgpu agdpmod=pikera, and I've also installed the WhateverGreen kext.
However, I'm running into the following error:

I finally update my ryzentosh from ventura to Sonoma
my spec are:
amd ryzen 7 5700x
msi thomawak II max
amd radeon rx550 (spoofed)
a kingston 500 GB SSD NVEM
and a crucial 500GB SSD Serial Ata (Sata)
for this I recommend two things 1: check that your kernel patches are updated 2:don't update from settings but from the store
ps. the only things that don't work are headphones and all speakers that use 3.5 mm jacks

Currently, OpenAI has launched a tool to help users create their own chatbot and upload it to the GPT Store. I'm wondering if OpenCore's team is planning to make a chatbot to support users by that way.

iMessage with Wifi dongle
hello, as the title suggests, I need some help getting iMessage to work with a USB WiFi dongle (Cudy WU650).
My laptop is an Acer Extensa 15, Intel i3-1005g1 and a QCA9377 wifi card (big oof). Anyway, everything works perfectly besides built-in wifi. So I decided to get a cheap WiFi dongle and make sure I can get MacOS set up nicely on this laptop before I commit to upgrading my network card. I'm using chris111's method to get the dongle to work with SIP enabled.
I followed dortania's guide to fix iMessage, it worked but I'm only able to use it when I'm connected via ethernet without any problems.
I'm able to use the App Store and iTunes with the dongle but if I try to send a message on iMessage it times out, I get a blue bar at the top of the messages screen and later on a notification that the sending failed.

The message that's read was sent while connected via ethernet, all those not delivered was while connected via the usb dongle
I'm guessing that it's because the connection is via a dongle so is there any way to make MacOS register the dongle's connection as built in?

hello there,
i've been trying to create an efi usb for my Honor Magic Book X15 (with https://github.com/taarkov/Honor-Magicbook-X15-Hackintosh) and although it worked before, it's not anymore.
i've followed multiple tutorials including Dortania's one but nothing worked. i've been trying to redo this hackintosh because I did some weird things with the partitions and it didn't work anymore ; I formated the nvme ssd and I managed to install Ventura multiple times but not to not boot from the USB using mountefi (telling me that there are no efi partition on my usb).
it's currently "booting" (=blackscreen with only the progress bar without the apple logo).
please ask for more infos if you can help me, i'd be glad to try some new things.

Freshly installed Sonoma but have no place to put the EFI from the USB installer
Have struggled for days to get my system to work with the Sonoma Opencore installer, then getting the ethernet to work and now its great except my SSD has no place to put the EFI from the USB....Is reinstalling again my only option or can i create what i need in disk utility or some other way?

Thats was good for me , but currently i facing only one problem left ,
for sleep the laptop at first doesn't have S3 enabled i enable it using UMAF , than he worked fine he sleep and wake up , but the problem in waking UP All ports devices disconnected even bluethoot, but wifi still working , i Have PCI INTEL for wifi,
Only USB 3.0 WORKING but all others not work disconnected and i need to restart Laptop to make them work again, i hope some one have solution for thats,
For Softwares , the most Application working fine only Application thats using Virtualisation not work need it to get it work by using olds version or patching them , than its work fine.
And some Apps doesn't work good , for example All browser its crashing , the solution to fix thats by disabling hardware acceleration in setting of browser to make them work , thats problem still in work to fix , i using nootedred Project to Emulate Graphics Acceleration to make them work.

Ventura i7 4790K slow boot and wakes from sleep
OC 0.9.6 OS Ventura MSI Z97 Gaming 5; 5x SATA 1x NVME; i7 4790K no dGPU
Everything works but not fine. Hi my haMac boots annoyingly long, and it randomly wakes up from sleep. It throws AHCI errors during boot. I have added pictures and link to my config.plist. Help please

Cpu caller 2 right after bootup
Hello guys I almost mananged to built a legacy opencore hackintosh
Specs:
CPU: i3 380m
GPU: Intel HD Arrandale graphics
WiFi: unknown
I’m using a legacy bios and used the bootice method to make it bootable on legacy and it boots but after it goes to the black apple logo screen (the finished one) it gives me a kernel panic im suspecting which is cpu caller 2 it used to be cpu caller 0 but I added boot flags from a pre built efi from another arrandale laptop I’m using ssdt xosi, ec laptop, and dsdt (if it’s called that) and I think I need hpet. I’m not so sure I’ll be able to try again tomorrow if anyone knows what to do please tell me. I wasn’t able to find anything that helps me
