2nd HDMI Screen - Auto Detect Turn On or Off

I have been rocking my thinkpad L490 with always updated latest OC and MacOS. Now I am on:

However I have one issue. I use 2 HDMI screens. 1 plugged in via usb-c type dongle, the other screen is plugged in to the direct hdmi output on the laptop.
Whenever I lock my screen and go away (after screen goes to sleep not the laptop, my laptop never sleeps I disabled sleep) after a while screen sleeps. And when I try to login, the direct HDMI output monitor doesn't come back on. It only starts working after I plug off the HDMI cable and plug back in.
Is there anyway to fix HDMI behavior to auto turn on when I wake up my screen?

installing macOS Ventura boots into windows recovery!
Hello,
I built a custom EFI for my pc specs, used opencore install guide, flashed a usb drive, etc everything went smooth, I had windows installed on my SSD,
while installing Ventura in disk utility I deleted the old windows disk/partition and instead created a Mac disk, and installed mac os on the SSD.
after waiting for it to install, I expected it to reboot several times but that didn't happen, after the first reboot it booted into windows recovery.

what should I do
should I take out the ssd format it and try again? this should clear the old windows installation EFI right?
I also have integrated intel HD Graphics 630 / gtx 1060, I have it connected to my monitor.

Finally after 4 days of tinkering - starting from the bottom (Learning about Clover/OpenCore, messing with kexts, quirks, ACPIs and whatnot). Network needs some work, but overall stable. I still haven't figured out how to boot it without the USB, since no native support for (U)EFI, but I am done with this machine for a while. Huge thanks goes to all the people in the Hackintosh community and Internet Archive.

Empty / headless framebuffer ID for UHD 630 in a i9-10900k processor
I want to use the iGPU for computing only in my hackintosh that is running the latest version of macOS Ventura (mobo is MSI z590-A Pro and dgpu is MSI - AMD Radeon RX 6600 ARMOR 8G- 8GB GDDR6). I’m using the iMac 20,2 SMBIOS and booting OpenCore 0.9.6. What is the best Empty / headless framebuffer ID to define in OpenCore device properties for the intel UHD 630 igpu in a i9-10900k processor?
I’m currently using the one that Dortania OC Install Guide indicates for Comet Lake which is 0300C89B but I have seen in some internet posts that it’s better to use an id that aligns with the CPU you’re using, for example 0300C59B in my case. I also saw 0300C49B as an alternative.
Also, in Hackintool system tab, I see that the vda decoder failed. I did the vda decoder check in terminal that is suggested in dortania and I got a 12473 error. I was wondering if someone else with a similar configuration has seen the same message for the vda decoder.
Any feedback from this great community is highly appreciated.

Kernel Panic
I am a beginner in hackintosh, and I do not know what to do. The fact is that the first attempt to install the Hackintosh was relatively successful. I was able to log into the bootloader, but unfortunately I could not restore the OS, because it was high sierra, then I read that I could disable dGPU(1050ti) and use iGPU(intel uhd 630), so I started the process of installing macOS Big Sur, but I failed because, as I understand it, I had a kernel panic. Then I decided that I would install macOS Catalina to create the perfect bootloader, but even then I couldn't do anything. I created a loader without additional kexts, only with the necessary ones (lilu, VirtualSMC, Whatever Green), and tried to fix the error on the Dortania guide, but nothing changed. Please help me, tell me what my mistake is. How do I correctly create a config that will be correct with the dGPU disabled.

What is the "RTC/HID Activity" in the pmset log, and why does it happen even if I don't interact with the laptop?
Sometimes, my laptop wakes on its own, and I can't prevent it. I suspect the "RTC/HID Activity". For example, today, it was the last event in the log that woke the laptop:

Performance and Stability:
My Hackintosh setup has been running surprisingly well. However, I did encounter a performance disparity between Windows and Sonoma initially. In Windows, I was getting an impressive 17,000 multicore score, but in Sonoma, I was only achieving around 8,500.
To address this performance gap, I decided to implement CPUFriend and data modifications. With CPUFriend, I was able to optimize the CPU power management and boost the Sonoma multicore score to a much more respectable 13,500. This improvement demonstrates that there is still room for optimization and fine-tuning to get the most out of your Hackintosh setup.
While I'm content with my current performance, I'm open to any suggestions or insights from the community on further improving the score and overall system stability.

Big Sur on Inspiron 5520, can't get to run.
So i've been trying to run Big Sur on my Dell Inspiron 5520. I have done it last year, but switched back to windows and cant remember what i did to get it to work.
My errors are acpi: marking method as serialized etc then it just reboots.

OpenCore with dmg
Hi, I'm new at hackintosh and I have a question: Is it possible to have an OpenCore bootloader with a ready-made macOS image, and not with a recovery image. The fact is that I don't have any mac and I had attempts to install a Hackintosh, but they all failed, and it all happened because the macOS recovery utility does not see my Internet connection (I use TP-LINK WIFI ADAPTER TL-WN821N V5) and I simply cannot restore the image due to lack of Internet, and using ethernet for me is unavailable due to the large distance between the computer and the router. I don't have a mac, only windows.
P.S If using a ready-made Mac OS image together with OpenCore is not possible, please tell me how to do so that I would have Internet access to restore the image?

What’s working: everything I can think of (sleep, Bluetooth, WiFi, iServices, unlock with watch)
What’s not working:
Not necessarily “not working” but any time I restart instead of shut down, I always get a pop up after signing back in that says the reboot was caused due to an application error (even though it wasn’t).
Boot chime. Just haven’t taken the time to set it up yet.
I had been successfully running Ventura since it came out and had no issues with OTA updates. When Sonoma came out I planned on updating but didn't get the chance to until 14.1 was out, but went ahead and downloaded the update from the App Store and installed as I had previously. It had been so long since I had an issue updating I made the rookie mistake of not checking for known issues with Sonoma and Hackintoshes. For example, I was completely unprepared for my wifi breaking and didn't know I needed to update AppleALC.kext. I was very frustrated for a few days trying to figure out why I lost audio, but luckily I read the Sonoma release post on tonymacx86 which mentioned updating the kext. I was also happy to find the write-up below covering how to fix wifi with OCLP. So it took longer than my usual updates, but here we are with everything looking good!

No Storage Devices Recognized in Ventura/Sonoma
So I've been successfully Hackintosh'ing since Sierra but I can't seem to crack this weird issue where none of my internal drives show when loading Ventura or Sonoma.
I'm currently running a successful Big Sur (11.6.7) installation where everything works as expected. I am able to CCC my current install to a new drive and update that to Sonoma, and Sonoma will load (not cleanly but it loads), but the only drive that shows up in Finder/Disk Utility is the primary boot device.
When I try to do a fresh install, the only device that shows is the installation USB itself when it gets the point where it asks you where you want to install to, which happens with both Ventura (13.6.1) and Sonoma (14.0 and 14.1).
I'm guessing it must have something to do with my config, drivers, or kexts that I'm using. I even went back through the Dortiania OpenCore config guide to rebuild my config from scratch and same thing. Has anyone encountered this before?

Graphics issue on Sonoma
Hey guys i need some help after upgrading an Sonoma from Ventura when i had problem for Graphics without some transparency and blur effect kinda very lag and very slow. I was spoof in MacBook Pro 2017 to 2018 for upgrade! But it shows "Intel Graphics KBL" without 620 and it came free graphics into 8MB than 2048MB! Maybe anyone knows about graphics acceleration fix or spoofing something!

Help! Stuck on Startup Options with My MacBook Air M1 😩
I'm in a real jam with my MacBook Air M1, and I'm hoping some of you tech-savvy folks can lend a hand. I'm stuck on the dreaded startup options screen, and it's becoming a real headache!
Every time I try to reinstall macOS, the installation process takes forever – we're talking a whole day – and just when I think I'm getting somewhere, it hits me with a "pkdownload error errror 8" and leaves me high and dry.
I've tried mashing the keyboard shortcuts, hoping for a magic exit, but no luck. And when I click on the Apple logo to select my startup disk, it just keeps on loading indefinitely.
I need some real-life, practical advice to get out of this never-ending loop. If any of you have faced this before or have any genius ideas on how to break free, please, help a fellow Mac user out! 🙏

I'm almost there l, help a newbie out
I'm trying to install Ventura (I have 2 pendrives with same EFI one with Catalina, second with Ventura, both offline installer made by burning .RAW images with BalenaEtcher)(I want to install Ventura but thought maybe the issue would be solved if I first install older OS)
I have Lenovo legion y540
i5 9300h
Uhd 630
16 gigs ram 8x2
Samsung sm981a nvme
1. I successfully passed the boot stage
2. Successfully formatted a partition (not the whole nvme) into APFS
3. Successfully rebooted and clicked on installer
4. When I click on the installer it works fine until it reaches around the end of the progress bar and says less than a minute remaining
Then it freezes there
I've retried multiple times and exactly the same behaviour occurs every time
Now when I try this with the Catalina pendrive(all of the above steps happen and I get stuck at Step 4.)
But what's more weird is that when I try this with the Ventura pendrive( I pass Step 1 and 2 but I get stuck at Step 3. When it starts installing it freezes at 12 minutes remaining) and doesn't even get to the step 4. Where the installer shows up in boot
Pls help any suggestions would be very very appreciated
