* What part I got an issue with: \[Describe your issue **WITH** pictures attached if possible\] I restart my PC >then select my pendrive >then select resetvram >then EFI dmg >then it takes some time and some code comes and then it gets stuck there(from what I could understand there was error written in a lot of lines)

How to have another drive

I am new to the Hackintosh community and I dont know what to do or how to setup. I want to set up an macOS to my Windows 11. People were posting their specs so I thought I would want to send mine too.

Initially had Big Sur installed, but there was zero graphics acceleration with my 6700XT, so it was basically unusable. Even minimizing a window would lag out for 5 seconds or so.
Now it's running like a dream at 144hz with the added benefit of Ventura.

At the moment I'm getting 4K@30Hz, so so close but not where I'd like to be
Can I ask someone to eyeball my config.plist and offer some advice ?

Booting from Clover
Hi, so I've managed to install macOS on my desktop however every time I want to boot into the OS I have to input the following argument -igfxvesa -v alcid=66 in by hand before selecting the OS.
Is there anyway to bypass this or make the argu by default? It's just tedious. Or is it better to try open core?

Need advice on laptop display (4K vs 2K) for hackintosh
Hi. I'm looking to buy a laptop, something from Thinkpad X1 series, to be specific, and I'm in doubt about screen options. Those are:
- 14" 2K
- 15.6" 4K
- 14" 4K (overkill, I know, but there's that one high-end X1Y5 on sale...)
My thoughts:
- I'd really like to try that fabled HiDPI stuff.
- I'm not really concerned about decreased battery life.
- I am concerned about performance of UHD620/630 on 4K. Right now, for example, I can play some light games on HD520 in 1920p, and I'm not sure if they will run on HiDPI display.
- I've also heard some conflicting information about fractional scaling in macOS. With 4K on 15.6" it'll be integer scaling to 200%, of course, but how does 2K/4K looks on 14"?
Anyone's experience and suggestions?

11900k - Gigabyte Vision D Z590 - Thunderbolt issues
Hi,
I have a CalDigit TS3 Dock on the Thunderbolt Port. I know this works, I have tested it on this machine under Windows and on another Mac (Apple original).
Under my Hack, I see the following (in System Profiler):
* USB Devices connected to the Dock work perfectly (Audio, card reader, mouse, keeb)
* Thunderbolt drivers show up under PCI (Maple Ridge TB4, Maple Ridge USB)
* Theres an „ethernet“ element with Thunderbolt@xxx but drivers not installed
* No Dock shows under Thunderbolt tab (shows here with my macMini)
* No TB functions work: Low Transfer Speeds and Ethernet connection on Dock not recognized
Any ideas? I feel this might be VT-d related. I have it turned on in BIOS though, a fixed DMAR SSDT and a table delete patch in OpenCore config.
I also have the MAPLE-RIDGE SSDT for HotPlug, disabling / enabling does not help.TB ports are not present in my custom usb mapping SSDT.

Hackintosh Monterey not working on 2nd monitor.
Hi everyone
I hope you many fine folks can help me with my problem. I have a Gigabyte H470 hd3 motherboard with an Intel i5 10400 cpu, 16 gigs of ram and gforce gt710 video card. And two acer monitors. When I run hackintosh big sur everything works fine with the two monitors. But when I run hackintosh Monterey it only works on one monitor. The two monitors are connected hdmi with going through a dvi to hdmi adapter. Any help you can provide wo be most appreciated. Thank you

SOLVED OTA update to Sonoma 14.1 was a success.
This is a follow up for this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/hackintosh/comments/17m9dro/update\_for\_sonoma\_141\_doesnt\_show\_up/
In sum, after building this hack the update for 14.1 didn't show up.
User u/schrup21 suggested to add this boot argument: revpatch=sbvmm, and it worked, update showed up.
The motivation for this post is that some users commented asking if updating this way works.
The answer is that it does. It rebooted the system several times but it works fine.
Sonoma 14.1 is now running without any issues whatsoever on my hack.

Mouse (Logitech Lift & G502) intermittent stuttering?
Hi,
I just installed macOS Sonoma 14.1 on my build (10700k, Asus Z490-Plus, iGPU for now) using the dortania OpenCore guide, everything seems to be working OK but intermittently my mouse will stutter and I can't work out why.
There doesn't seem to be any pattern as to when it happens (i.e. doesn't seem to happen at high CPU load), it'll stutter for about a minute, then be smooth for anywhere from 1-30 mins, then stutter again for a bit, etc.
As far as I can tell I've mapped the USB ports correctly using USBMap. I tested other devices in all ports and they seem stable. It happens with both my Logitech Lift and Logitech G502 Lightspeed, with and without the Logitech software, bluetooth and wireless modes. Under Windows they work fine.
I don't have a wired mouse to try with atm but I'll get one to test out if nobody has any idea what might be causing this. There's various other threads mentioning this issue with Logitech mice over the years on hackintosh but none of them seem to have a solution.

Hackintosh recognizes NVMe drive, but won't boot from it
Hey guys
I recently bought a Samsung EVO 970 NVMe drive to use as my new boot drive. I've cloned my boot drive (SATA) to the NVMe with Carbon Copy Cloner, and I've copied my EFI folder to the new drive. However, OpenCore won't recognize it in the boot options screen. I did format the new drive as APFS, GUID Partition Map.
I do not have the FixNVMe kext. I figured I do not need it as long as the drive appears to be working fine.
I'm fairly novice to hackintoshing, but I have used this computer since 2019. I should also mention I do want to update the computer pretty soon, but don't want to mess up the current configuration that's working perfectly.
