Bootloop when selecting macOS Installer in OpenCore boot menu
Title. I managed to "install" macOS (only the macOS Recovery part), but when it restarts and I choose macOS Installer it just restarts back into the OC boot menu. I have read somewhere that this is cause by a wrong order of Kexts in config.plist, but even after changing it, it doesn't change anything. Btw I have already tried doing a clean OC snapshot in ProperTree, but it also doesn't change anything.

The graphics card is disabled, and I'm using Radeon Graphics, not sure if Hardware Acceleration works, because I'm not sure how to check that. Boots up within 10 seconds, and apps usually open instantly.

Hackintosh suddenly died
I have successfully installed and finished setting up my hackintosh. I don’t use it much only when i need apple stuff (like xcode). I boot it on after not using for a few weeks and now the ssd that macos was installed on isn’t detected for some reason… BIOS boot menu only showed the hdd. However stuff like opencore set up, elfs etc still exist, which i think was installed on a partition of the ssd?

Both my iGPU (11th gen i5 xe graphics) and my dGPU (Nvidia mx350) don't work with macOS, can anyone give me suggestions of what eGPU should I choose for my laptop that should work with macOS? It's a i5 1135g7

Hey!
I've recently managed to get macOS working on my AMD system. Everything is working perfectly except for Bluetooth. I'm using the UB400 adapter from TP-Link along with BlueToolFixup and Intel Bluetooth kexts. I'm not sure why, but when I use BlueToolFixup only, the adapter refuses to work completely, adding the Intel kexts make it work with AirPods for whatever reason.
My question is, if you can get AirDrop and other Bluetooth features working with Ethernet. Right now the most I can do is use my AirPods. I feel like this might be due to the adapter being Bluetooth 4.0, but I'm not sure. I've tried to get it working on Monterey, Ventura and now Sonoma, always being limited to just AirPods. I'm using the Dortania guide.
I'd welcome any help and any recommendations regarding the adapter or kexts are welcome as well.

Bluetooth broken after wake from sleep!
bluetooth works perfectly until a sleep/wake cycle after that it does not work at all. toggle sorta works although very laggy but does not detect any devices whatsoever.

Upgraded from Ventura needing only to patch wifi using IO80211FamilyLegacy.kext and IOSkywalkFamily.kext, then work out problems with SIP using AMFIPass.kext and -amfipassbeta in boot-args. Patching out the PCIe capture card I use for Windows via SSDT ruins my Windows partition as it boots with an ACPI error BSOD. Leaving the card enabled in OpenCore doesn't ruin anything, so it's left there to blink red (annoying, but whatever).
I want to thank r/hackintosh, the folk(s) down at the Dortania Guides and their supporters, and other Hackintosh hobbyists keeping this thing alive - Hackintosh as a concept has been a childhood dream of mine, and I'm super stoked to have done it after a few weeks of hard work, troubleshooting and research.

HP OMEN 25L Desktop with Radeon 6600 XT verbose boot freeze
Hi all!
After I published a help-thread yesterday asking why the graphics rendering was all messed up on my hackintosh, I realized I was using an unsupported GPU (RTX 3070). I have now purchased and installed an AMD Radeon 6600 XT GPU but now I'm running into a different issue where the verbose boot freezes (and stays frozen) when booting.
I'm using a Intel 11th gen CPU (RocketLake).
And help would be greatly appreciated!

Which Hackintosh on a ThinkPad T470P (model 20J6)
Hey everyone !
I'm trying to make an hackintosh for my bro for music compositions (Logic Pro), a bit of image editing (Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator) and some little basics of video editing (Adobe Premier Pro expected). I'm using a step-by-step tutorial from the Tech2Tech web site (2022 version with OpenCore). So far, I have downloaded all the required tools but I can't find the appropriate Kexts files. I'm going on a Monterey version. Is Ventura possible ?

Hackintosh or MacMini/Studio? QUESTION
i'm thinking ahead of when i end up replacing my 2014 macbook pro as my go-to workhorse.. and since i never use my macbook as a portable device - i'm planning on replacing it with a SFF computer instead.
i'm not interested in anything bigger than SFF since my homeoffice is a relatively small room that i would like to keep tidy and unencumbered.
i'm wondering if i should stick to the official apple lineup or if i should consider going the hackintosh route with a custom SFF build.
\>>> i like the idea of being able to upgrade my own build vs having to buy a new apple device every several years - but i'm worried about a hackintosh build being too unstable and unreliable for what is meant to be my most trusty steed. is this a geniune concern or is hackintosh stable enough to compete with an apple device?

Fix trackpad gestures on USB Microsoft keyboard
Hello. I have a problem. My hackintosh works fine and is configured correctly. I'm just wondering one thing - is it possible to enable gestures on my USB keyboard from Microsoft? macOS Sonoma - Airdrop not working
When I try to send from iPhone or iPad to Hackintosh, it says "Waiting" for minutes and then eventually fails. Hello everyone! I'm in search of a budget-friendly laptop that can help me learn iOS development without breaking the bank. I'm not aiming for top-of-the-line Apple Silicon performance; I simply need a reliable machine capable of smoothly handling both iOS development and frontend work. Currently, I'm considering two options: the Dell 3410 with an i5 processor or the ThinkPad 480 i5.

Steam not running on Sonoma
Hi, is anyone having trouble running Steam installation to the finish and managed to get it working?
I have a fresh installed Sonoma and updated to 14.1 (23B74) using [OpenCore 0.9.5](https://github.com/acidanthera/OpenCorePkg/releases/tag/0.9.5) and after that patching my Fenvi WiFi card (it has previously naturally supported Broadcom chip) using [OpenCore Legacy Patcher 1.1.0](https://github.com/dortania/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/releases/tag/1.1.0).
System is running with no issues and I have not observed any instability. Everything seems to be working so far.
So I wanted to try some Steam games. I downloaded steam.dmg and run the install. It managed to update the Steam client but then when I expect some Steam GUI window to show, nothing. It is running in the Dock (not bouncing like it is lunching). It just sits there and nothing is happening. Even Network and disc activity is at idle speeds.

After that it runs the Steam app. Steam icon bounces a few times on the Dock, then it seems to be running (I can see a dot under the Steam app icon), but I can see no GUI window even when I right click to Show all the Windows.
I am not able to Quit the app from the Dock, I need to Force Quit it.
When I run it again after Force Quit, verifying window show for a second, then the app bounces on the Dock like for ever. After some time it stops bouncing and the dot appears under the Stream app icon (like it's running). Following window appears on the screen, but it is not usable. When I Show all the windows, caption of that window says *Steamwebhelper is not responding*.

I obviously tried to delete Steam app including files found at this location `/Users/USER/Library/Application Support/Steam/` and install it again. I restarted the OS a few times and reset NVRAM as well.
I have reported it to Steam support, they replied that Sonoma 14.1 is supported.
What am I missing?

Ventura on Pixelbook Go (i5 8220y - 16gb Ram - 128gb SSD)
After a few days stuck with Chrome OS, and Windows on my PixelBook Go, I made a decision to come with Hackintosh, and boom, It worked very well, here are some things you need to care about:
The webcam and sound don't work.
\- The command key (Google Assistant key) was not recognized, I tried to use a lot of remap keyboards but it didn't help at all.
\- The keyboard light does not work
\- The sound (Intel Smart Sound Technology) is not supported on Mac.
\- Webcam not supported too, but better than in Windows (The green light was turned off)

What works:
\- Touch screen.
\- Wifi support good (Bluetooth, nearby share, Wifi...)
The keyboard works well except for the Command key. The function key works well too, and can be remapped by Karabiner software.
\- Battery can last long up to 8 hours @@. Even don't have a fan, it is still warm not too hot.
\- Trackpad is good and native with Mac OS.
Here is some picture for all of you:
