Preparing to install hackintosh on Lenovo Yoga 260.
Hello, im preparing to install hackintosh on Lenovo Yoga 260. And i want to ask some questions that i did'nt found answer for.
1. https://github.com/kreizlie/Lenovo-Yoga-260-Hackintosh I found that prebuild efi, which i dont want to use due to unmaintainance. This efi uses custom VoodooSMBus.kext to avoid conflicts with VoodooI2C.kext, it is easy to recreate it?
2. Will it even work on my hardware? (lspci, lscpu output below)
https://pastebin.com/a478Mp1J (lspci)
https://pastebin.com/8PeTS1iX (lscpu)
3. How many storage i will need to use XCode, ios emulator, other dev tools.
4. Can i install it on external drive?
5. Will it work on M.2 Sata drive?
6. Will touchscreen work?
Thanks for you'r time.

OCLP users: why do you run use macOS without full disk encryption?
I wonder why people actively choose not to encrypt their disk. Nowadays this should be the standard. Specially on laptops. But please tell me your reasons not to encrypt.

Audio Problem
Hi guys. So I've finished fixing up issues on my MSI GS66 10SE Hackintosh. Everything is fixed besides these few issues. I tried so many things for over 3-4 days to resolve these and I still can't figure them out. If anyone could help, that would be very useful.
1. Audio via the internal speakers isn't working. I've tried it all, VoodooHDA, AppleALC, AppleALCU. Nothing works. The only indicator towards the problem that I found was that when booting macOS it gives out an "AppleALC injection failed" thing. Said the same thing with VoodooHDA (when it was installed but it said VoodooHDA instead of AppleALC). I did not have both VoodooHDA and AppleALC installed at the same time. I have Lilu installed and chekced that the version is compatible with those audio kexts. Audio output via bluetooth is great. Internal mic doesen't work either (will probably fix itself when audio works).
2. When I try to play music via Apple Music it loads the song but then refuses to play. I suspect its something to do with a DRM thing that was removed in BigSur and Im not sure how to re-impliment it or how to fix it.
3. AirDrop doesen't work (but bluetooth works fine). Same thing with continuity camera, focus sync across devices, etc. For whatever reason iMessage and FaceTime isn't logging in my apple ID but I was able to download stuff off the app store and i've set up my SMBIOS correctly.
4. From time to time my screen would just glitch for a split second. It doesen't impact performance but it can get slightly irritating at times.
Im just a bit lost here as this is my 4th hackintosh (BigSur, Ventura, Monterey) build so I have experience with OpenCore and how to fix many issues, but these ones I have not encountered before.

Can I edit VoodooPS2controller or make an ACPI patch to make brightness keys work?
I know a bit of programming, so you can be as technical as possible. What I want is working media keys on my Hack. The volume keys work, for some weird reason, but at the moment I fixed Battery Readouts on my ThinkPad E460 the option in the settings to edit brightness keys is gone. I heard of Monitor Control, and Karbiner, but what I want to do is what the title says. For a more "native" media keys control.

Decisions, Decisions...
I've had Monterrey running on my Precision 5540 for about a year now, and I tried a few times to update to Ventura, but haven't been able to get my internal display to work. I'm currently dual booting with Ubuntu, I've been a Linux user for some time now, and so I'm wondering: Is it worth the effort to try and upgrade to Ventura (or Sonoma?), Other than Arc and GarageBand, I haven't found much that I use on macOS but not linux, but there also isn't anything on Linux that's even close to garageband yet

What Doesn't work: Nothing yet
She's a bit of a mixed bag of parts, mainly thrown together from spares and a cheap motherboard. I was planning on getting a locked i5 for it but ended up using a 13700K I upgraded from instead. Surprisingly the motherboard handles the chip like a champ. Oddly pairing with a 6650XT just adds fuel to the mismatch fire, but she's merely a companion to my i9/4090 rig as a streaming computer (I have a PCIe capture card in here, which can be patched out in OpenCore but I didn't bother due to the AML breaking my dual boot, but everything gets on just fine). I tried Sonoma with the kexts for the Broadcom card and OCLP but disabling SIP breaks booting third party apps; I couldn't figure it out so Ventura shall remain.
I want to thank r/hackintosh, the folk(s) down at the Dortania Guides and their supporters, and other Hackintosh hobbyists keeping this thing alive - Hackintosh as a concept has been a childhood dream of mine, and I'm super stoked to have done it after a few weeks of hard work, troubleshooting and research.

I'm sticking with Ventura 13.6 - how long have I got?
This was going to be my Sonoma - future-proofing install, but it just refuses to install. I have gotten Ventura 13.6 installed (and have a working EFI backup too), so I'm planning on sticking with this going forward.
I also have Broadcom wifi, which needs serious patching under Sonoma.
I am dual booting with Mojave 10.14.6 at the moment, just to have 32 bit game/app support.
When do you foresee them dropping Ventura as a supported OS, and when will XCode stop building with support for it by default?
