OpenCore USB problems on a Mac Mini Late 2012
Hi,
is there anyone facing problems with usb ports on a Mac Mini late 2012?
With OpenCore Legacy Patcher v1.0.1 I'm facing problems with usb ports of my Mac Mini late 2012.
I've previously installed Ventura, and now I've installed Sonoma without problems. The only thing is that none of the usb ports works.
What can I do?

Upgrade from 9900k to 13900 or beyond?
Hey, I’ve been using my hack since 2019, everything runs great. I use it for Lightroom/photoshop, davinci, and just recently blender.
I’ve updated to Sonoma, and have everything working.
I picked up a Mac M2 Max to test out and was underwhelmed with my initial testing in blender, still have to compare it in Lightroom.
Would an upgrade to the 13th or14th get me anymore speed and future proof me, until Apple drops intel support?
Also in blender a render that takes 1:15 in Sonoma, takes 1:05 in windows 10, is there really that much of a difference in the two different os’s?

Through blood, sweat, and tears, I got this EFI finally working on MacOS Sonoma. It is based off the one in TechNolli's video with some tweaks to make it work properly with minimal setup needed.
This worked on my PC with the following specs:

After Intel support is dropped, does anyone think a custom X86 Kernel could pop-up? Or if something like QEMU could ever emulate Apple Silicon?
Like the title says.
The Hackintosh community is so large and passionate with such an insane amount of work poured into it that I find it hard to believe that some people wont at least try to keep it going.
For those who may not remember the "hackintosh" started before the Intel transition with PowerPC emulators being created to run Mac OSX on X86 hardware. So maybe after some hard work, the same can happen again?

Hello, I'd like to share an interesting Hackintosh Build using the NUC 11 Extreme Compute Element and RX 6800 XT.
Specifications:
CPU: i9-11900KB
RAM: 64GB DDR4 3200MHz
GPU: RX 6800 XT TUF
WIFI: AX210
LAN: I225-LM
Case: VARIERA :)
Overall, everything works quite well. My main issue is with sleep mode - when it goes to sleep, it seems to shut down completely, and when I wake it, it starts from scratch with crash reports.
Could you guide me on how to fix sleep mode on the 11th generation?

What's next after hackintosh?
After some efforts, almost all computers that I can put my hands on are dual-boot with Hackintosh, laptops and desktop. I don't have any app that requires macOS, no photo-editing or anything, still on Windows for productivity work, kids don't give a d* on Mac or Linux or anything don't run games well. Challenges are over. What now?

My pc won’t show display after installing Mac
One day I decided to install Mac and after I set up the drivers it worked fine but the next day I tried to boot it didn’t boot
It may be my graphics card because the hdmi maybe wasn’t soldered but I don’t think so. I tried to boot without battery/removing the battery and putting it back. Changed m2/ssd but still nothing . I tried removing the cables from the motherboard. Tried another hdmi , another monitor and tried it on my tv but nothing the Mac I installed was Mac Ventura . Specs are : ASUS H170-M i5 6th gen 16

Touchscreen Working but Trackpad not working

Could an ASUS K50IE from 2010 be hackintoshed?
i recently got this lot of broken laptops from my aunt. i was able to fix two out of the three she gave me. my macbook also broke recently so i thought that, since this computer had a core 2 duo, i could possibly run macOS High Sierra or preferably OS X Mavericks for that good old look. i don't mind which version though, as long as i can run logic. s

Resume OS problem
I recently installed Monterey on my MacBook Pro 7.1 and I noticed when I run out of battery it stays on the gray screen loading after I type my passcode. It loads all the way to the end and then it stucks. Is this a common problem or not? When I shut it down from the power button everything boots normally again. Any suggestions?

Will it ever be possible to activate SIP having the Wi-Fi working on macOS Sonoma (Broadcom tab)?
A simple problem that probably requires a complex if not infeasible solution. I ask this mainly because most non-App Store apps require SIP enabled.

Not getting Sonoma 14.1 beta ota offered despite having beta updated enabled and Apple secure boot being fully set up
I am trying to get beta ota updates to work and I don't know why it's not working. Regular and beta ota updates worked fine in Ventura.
SecureBootModel is set properly, ApECID is non zero and checking the
94b73556-2197-4702-82a8-3e1337dafbfb:AppleSecureBootPolicynvram variable gives me
%02which would indicate full security. Using a t2 smbios and a securebootmodel that also has a t2.

I've been interested in hackintosh for years andI finally decided to create one on my desktop
But i realised i dont have a compatible GPU (Nvidia gtx 1660S...) and my CPU have not graphic chip
So i have thought to sell my actual GPU for buy an other, propably a Radeon RX6700XT (also sometimes I play games on my pc)
Do you advise me to sell just my GPU or the whole PC, and buy another one? Which is the most profitable? Also I dont have a big budget so do you recommend buying a second-hand GPU?
