Full AMD Hackintosh?
Hello everyone, I have been working as a Flutter developer for a while now, but recently I was asked to be on a project where I am required to develop an app natively for iOS (AKA I need to use Swift).
I know you can use Swift on Windows/Linux now, but I've heard that it's really bad. so I was planning to attempt turning my custom PC to a Hackintosh and maybe do some dual boot, with Windows and Linux.
I've researched a bit, and I found this repo, and it looks promising:

But I am still not sure,so here are my current specs, if anyone has similar specs and has done something similar before, I am looking forward to hearing from them how it went.

I just installed Monterey on HP 15 2017 successfully but it doesn't support wifi (RT8723BE), so is there any m.2 wifi card compatible with monterey?

Hi, i decided to giveup installing sonoma becaouse of prohibited logo with ''support.apple yada yada..'' when trying to boot to recovery online dmg, and now i was trying to install ventura, and i succeded but, everytime i boot my laptop the prohibition sign shows, with same text ''support.apple yada yada'' - but when i reset the nvram few times, and also set my bios settings to default it eventually starts withou problem :/
i made efi following dortania guide, i think everything is okay here, i tried many ways to fix it myself, so it could go past this, but i dunno sadly what to do if someone can look into it and maybe could help with the issue i would appreciate it! thanks:

OpenCore OpenRuntime.efi Cannot Be Started - Unsupported! (Ventura)
I've tried everything; started with fresh OpenCore 0.9.5 debug and Sample.plist, but I keep getting this message (on the last line) before it freezes:
OC: Driver OpenRuntime.efi at 2 cannot be started - Unsupported! Halting on critical error
Right above that line is:
OC: Watchdog status is 0
I've done many searches and can't find a solution anywhere, so I'm posting here. I would be eternally grateful if someone could give me some insight on what is happening, and how to possibly fix it. Thank you!

Is hackintosh worth it still?
So I have a 10700k build on Big Sur. With apple discontinuing intel support in the future, and not updating kexts for rdna3 leaves us stuck with Radeon 6900xt as the most powerful.
So I’m kind of wondering if it’s even worth it anymore? Any guesses on how long apple will even continue intel support?
Am I thinking too hard and overthinking this?

Is there any way to use a 980ti (Maxwell) in Sonoma?
Im using my Hackintosh primarily as a video editing machine, and of course general use. Im currently using an AMD RX570 4GB and it works OOTB.
But I’m wanting a little more GPU power and I have 2 reference 980Ti cards currently doing nothing. It would be amazing to use them both in my build for DaVinci Resolve.

Oclp no boot whiout usb.
Hello.. , I installed Ventura by oclp and it works perfectly. But Hey, I have a question, I had to boot with the USB.. Otherwise it would not enter macos.. I followed your tutorial and clicked on build and install.. And nothing.. Disable the SIP and nothing, I couldn't boot without the USB. Until I followed a tutorial with the MounEfi tool and mounted the efi partition of the usb and the internal efi, and manually copied the contents of the efi partition from the external to the internal one. And it worked perfectly, I entered macos, but my question is... If there is a new ventura update, of course I have to wait if there is an OCLP update, then I have to do the manual process again and mount EFi again and copy it to the internal efi? Or is it just the first time, I hope someone understands me, my English is bad, because I see that "build and install opencore" did not work for me to install it internally. Or am I doing something wrong.. I have macbook pro 15" mid 2014..

OC Failed to load configuration
So today ive tried loading Hackintosh on my PC but failed as it showed Something About Battery
(Im On Desktop)
I restarted my PC and Picked Haswell-E and Went back to Boot Options to find theres OpenCore but not SanDisk UFEI.
I just click OpenCore but it says Failed to Load Config.
Its my first time Doing a Hackintosh and im Worried ive screwed up everything.

I am able to successfully boot Sonoma on my laptop. iGPU works fine with nootedred, but I am not able to get dGPU to work. My laptop doesn't have a mux switch so I can't disable the iGPU. Is there a way I can get dGPU to work? Any help appreciated!

DIfference Backup: macOS 230GB and Backup 125GB?
I made a backup of macOS and I had a question: macOS is taking up 230GB of storage and the SSD where the backup was made only up 125GB.

Hi there,
I’m new to this arena and would like to put Mac OS on my laptop.
My laptop is a HP ProBook 440 G8,
Processor: 11th Gen Core Tiger Lake i5-1135G7 (2.40GHz x 4)
RAM: DDR4 16GB
Graphics: Intel TigerLake-LP GT2 (Iris Xe Graphics)
I have a few questions, any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated!
- Is this possible?
- would I have to use a really old version of MacOS?
- I assume iCloud works okay? (I haven’t done this since a very early version of MacOS)

Hi, im kinda new to hackintoshing and i wanted to indtall macos ventura.
Everything went well the installation etc but whenever i tried boot into macos i got a error that said "go to panic/apple.con to report panic"
I did my tiny 5 minute research and found out that the EFI i tried using was not compatible with hackintosh.
I looked around on the internet to find one that would work with my motherboard.
After some time spent looking for one i gave up because there wasnt anything i could use.
Is there a way to make one yourself that would also work? And if yes could someone fully guide me through since i dont know anything about hackintoshing on discord?
I would really appreciate that.

Trackpad gestures won’t work
Hi all! A month ago I was successful in the boot of my new hackintosh with MacOS Sonoma. The only thing that I can’t get to work are trackpad gestures. I have all the kexts for my trackpad ps2, so Voodoops2 and voodooi2c also. I tried SSDT patching but I can’t undestand how to do it. Can someone please help me?
My pc specs:
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce gtx 1650( disabled)
iGpu: UHD 630 graphics
Trackpad: Elan Ps2 (changed to ps2 from i2c in bios because i2c wouldn’t work)

Issues upgrading
I have a working Big Sur system that has been solid for a couple of years now but I need to upgrade to Monterey. The issue is it gets to the reboots, has a couple of those and then reverts back to Big Sur.

Raspberry Pi - Could it work?
Hello everyone! I was wandering around Google, when I came across an article about being able to boot Linux on an Arduino. I asked ChatGPT, to see how legit the article is, and it told me that it might work, but the Raspberry Pi is made for running Linux. So I did some research, despite ChatGPT telling me that hackintoshing a Raspberry Pi is very difficult and not very useful and all that, and found that the Apple silicon chips, M1 and M2 chips used in Macs, are ARM based, just like the ones in Raspberry Pis. I told ChatGPT about that and it said that despite that macOS is made for x86 and x86-64 Intel and AMD processors. But if newer Apple chips use the same CPU architecture of Raspberry Pis, hackintoshing would be really accessible, right? What do you think? Is it wirth trying out with a Raspberry Pi 4 Mod. B with 8GB RAM?
