Reboot when n-time left in installer. (Thinkpad L14G1)
Hi, since my previous issue was partially solved, I decided to ask you guys again.
Specs are:
Intel Core i5-10210U with Intel UHD630
16GB DDR4 (probably 2666mhz)
Samsung SSD 512GB PM981a
Intel AX200 BT/WiFi
FHD 14" IPS
(Idk what else specs are necessary)
What worked in installer 100%: kb, trackpad, WiFi, screen res was fine.
Thing happens whenever I begin installing or wiping partition. Laptop just reboots at n minutes left. After checking what is size of files which were unpacked they were about under 1GB. So definitely it didn't even unpack everything before getting into reboot.

Some parts of my ventura has low frame/lag/slow animations
* Ryzen 3500x
* ASUS B450m K II
* GTX 1080 TI
So I've used Open Core Legacy Patcher but it's not working that buttery smooth animations like minimizing and maximizing the window, however the videos running pretty good like youtube and video player are working good, the problem is in the animations.

Bypass emulated NVRAM (both in x86 and ARM machines)
Hey, I'd like to add MacOS support to https://github.com/iTrooz/efiboot-rs , whose purpose is to be able to read/write/manage EFI variables in general
I understand supporting actual Macs is a mess, if even possible, so for now I'm focusing on Macintosh machines.
I'd like a way to bypass the emulated NVRAM of OpenCore, and access the host native NVRAM from MacOS? (the NVRAM with variables like `BootOrder` or `BootXXXX`, in the namespace `8be4df61-93ca-11d2-aa0d-00e098032b8c`)

Bluetooth not working on Windows 11 after Hackintosh removal
This might not be the right subreddit I know, but since I just uninstalled a hackintosh - to move to Windows, i'm just wondering whether there is a link in this somehow. I've installed all drivers, made sure airplane mode is off, and ran the Windows troubleshooter for nothing. My Bluetooth didn't work on Mac OSX Big Sur either (combination of 'Airportitlwm.kext', and 'itwlm.kext'/Heliport with nothing). It worked fine before I did anything Hackintosh-related. I have a HP Omen 870-204na - I've attached Bluetooth specs here.
I did run HP Support Assistant, and it did suggest I was missing an Intel WLAN and Management Engine driver. I've installed them both and nothing has worked.

since the RX 6950 XT worked on macOS, could the RX 6400 work too?
a few hours ago i saw a post with a person who had installed ventura on their system which had an RX 6950 XT. this GPU was released way after the original 6000 series GPUs, which should make it not usable in macOS. it had full acceleration though. so it got me thinking, if they were able to fix the RX 6950 XT's compatibility to fully work in macOS, could the same be done with an RX 6400? if it is possible, please let me know how, as i do not feel the need to upgrade if i don't have to.

open core for Sonoma with 2017 iMac Fusion Drive
hi guys,
For the post install, it's letting me choose either the ssd or the hd, like it doesn't understand it's a Fusion Drive. I'm a bit afraid to just pick one because I already had to do a clean install as it broke the Fusion Drive on my first go around.
I looked through the forums but can't find a clear answer - what's the best way to set this up so I don't need the external usb anymore? do I just pick the SSD option, simple as that? do I install it on both? something else I haven't even imagined yet??

No signal / Black Screen on external monitor
Hello!
I managed to install Mac OS Ventura on my six years old HP.
It has an Intel i5 7200U (Kaby Lake) processor and HD 620 internal graphics card, two usb-c ports and two usb-a ports.
When I connect my 4K external monitor with an usb-c to hdmi adaptor, it doesn't work.
Wierdly enought, I managed to make it work when I suspend the computer, reconnect the adaptor and wake it up. It's very strange, isn't it?

Error Code 71 in OCLP when patching Networking: Modern Wireless
I have a working Sonoma with Open Core 0.9.5 except for my Broadcom wifi card. I followed the directions to patch that and now Sonoma recognizes that I have a wifi card, but it cannot see any networks. This is because I have to run the OCLP "Networking: Modern Wireless" patch. Every time I try to run it though it fails with the following messages:

This sounds like it has issues with AppleALC which I think is for sound, not wifi. Anyone have a clue what I am maybe not doing or doing wrong to get this? Using OCLP 1.0.1 and correct kexts for IOSkywalkFamily.kext and IO80211FamilyLegacy.kext. Followed all the other directions for things to setup in config.plist.
Interestingly, my iPhone hotspot shows up in the wifi menu, but not my wifi network.

The machine works almost perfectly, just needs more post-install fixes.
Running off a 1TB disk because its the only other one I have around empty, so its a little slow, but decent to use.

Ventura kepler vda decoding failed
Hi I updated my Monterey 12.6.5 to ventura 13.6 recently and got KEPLER GT730 (GK208) acceleration with OCLP. But I didn't got vda acceleration (it's not showing in videopeoc for h264 section. while I was going thru different og config experiments I got metal 3 I don't remember which smbios device properties I used
Anybody got KEPLER vda decoding working in ventura please tell me

Looking for specs for easiest build to get up and running
I have no preference on parts to DIY a new build and money isn't a huge issue, just want something that is plug and play with a known EFI, etc.
I assume motherboard (and maybe WIFI) is critical and other pieces like memory, SSD, etc. I can just pick up ones that are know to work.
Can anyone point me at a motherboard that will support a current gen i9 and a build that makes getting up and running pretty easy?

I have a ToughBook CF-54 being delivered today, I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with Hacking-toshing it? What was your experience in doing so, how's it run?

512 NVMe? (It's coming with a 500gb HDD that I'm replacing with an NVMe, hopefully, if not, it'll be a SATA SSD)

Dual Boot with Windows : every time I go back to Macos, bluetooth is messed up (for magic mouse and magic keyboard).
I am on Ventura 13.4.1 with bluetooth dongle UB 400.
So every time bluetooth is messed after booting back to macos, I reset NVRAM. Is there a way to avoid bluetooth being messed up and resetting nvram ?

Upgrading Windows drive to M2 NVME,
I have a Z490 Vision D, using Opencore, dual boot Catalina, w Windows 10.
I don't boot into MacOS as much as I used too, was my primary but workflow has shifted a bit. I need more room on the Windows side. I purchased 2 M2 drives and wondering the best way to roll forward with them installing them on my MB.
I think I'll use one for windows and another for just general storage. Leave the Mac side as is.
What is the best way to go about this? Ive searched for guides but often come up with first time install guides. I remember the guides 3ish years ago had some steps for M2,
Should I install then use Carbon Copy to dupe the Windows drive?
Anything in paticular in Opencore or Bios I need to mess with?
I appreciate any tips or links, Its been stable for so long I haven't had to pop the hood in a while.
