Getting iServices without any network adapters
Maybe it's not like my machine DON'T have any network adapters, it's just that my built-in adapters isn't supported. I'm using HoRNDIS to tether my android phone to the machine, is there any way I can set the HoRNDIS "adapter" as built-in so I can use iServices?

USB on TB3 not working after sleep
I have two intel 8th gen laptops with TB3 ports. Because these are laptops I don’t want to force power on boot in order to save on batteries. I know I have to plug the TB hub device before turn on the machine, which is fine for me. However what I find annoying is that if I put the machine to sleep, after waking up, the USB device attaching to the hub will no longer work (keyboard and mouse). However the monitor attached to the hub via DP is still working after sleep. Is there a solution to it ?

I've messed up with my built-in microphone on Ventura/dell Inspiron 5480
Hello,
I got my Ventura installation working almost flawlessly on a dell Inspiron 5480 (i5 8265U). But the in-line/headset microphone was not working.
Then, I tried running some scripts that I used when I had Catalina and now the built-in microphone is not working as well. I believe I messed up with system files.
If someone can give some light, that'd would be appreciated. I can provide any info if it helps with debugging. The scripts are the ones in the link below:

Setting up graphics card on Hackintosh
I'm fairly new to all this and I've made progress on setting up my Hackintosh machine. I'm dual booting Windows 11 and Mac, I have audio and ethernet working. So far the only issues I am dealing with is hardware acceleration/graphics.
Main issue:
My hardware specs will be shown below.
In the "About this Mac" window, graphics shows up as "Display 22 MB".
Also I can't change the screen resolution or refresh rate. My monitor is a 144hz display and from what I can tell from moving my cursor, the refresh rate is locked at either 15-30hz. I can't tell for sure but doesn't feel like anything from 60-144hz.
I also have 2 monitors but the macOS seems to only recognize the display port monitor which is my main display. The secondary display is HDMI only but isn't recognized by macOS. I was wondering if it's possible to have a dual monitor setup on here.
If I can't utilize my GPU to it's fullest, is there a way to at least unlock the refresh rate? I'd appreciate all the help I can get. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Dortania doesn't cover multibooting on an OS filled disk. So maybe you could help?
So 3 days ago I got my USB installer with OpenCore working on my ThinkPad E460. Even the Trackpad (PS2) worked first try! But... I have a bit of a problem. I have a 480GB SATA SSD (WD GREEN) and Disk Utility recognizes it, and it's formatted in GUID. But the two problems I'm facing are the following:
1. I don't have where to make a backup of my files.
2. Dortania's guide apparently doesn't cover multibooting on an OS filled disk.
I could just make a backup of my Windows EFI folder, try to backup the important files, format it, and then follow the part of the guide of a single drive. And even if I'll probably get a 512GB or 1TB SSD soon, in case I can't, it would be helpful if you could tell me how to multiboot on an OS filled disk.

AR9287 on Monterey
Is there a way to make AR9287 work on Monterey? I tried various methods, but none work. Highest OS I made it work was High Sierra using toledaARPT.kext
As stated in khronokernel's IO80211-Patches repo, it is semi-native possible, the only thing which gets strange is gfxutil. When I run this command it doesn't display anything, unlike something shown in image below.
I tried injecting IO80211HighSierra, AirPortAtheros40, and toledaARPT kexts, but this results in kernel panic.

Laptop backlight not working after updating to Sonoma (among other issues)
Hi, since I updated to Mac OS 14 Sonoma, I've been having a few issues.
Notably, the Wi-Fi wasn't working (I got that fixed), the trackpad gestures don't work (it works as a "normal" trackpad for now) and worst of all... the backlight of my laptop's screen doesn't work. It used to work after 3 minutes of waiting after logging in but that changed after I modified my config.plist to the proper device-id for my iGPU (Intel UHD 620). Also, changing it to the proper parameters for my iGPU removed the functionnality for USB-C display output... Here is some information about my config:
Laptop: Dell Latitude 5400
CPU: i5 8365u
RAM: 32GB 2400MHz
GPU: Intel UHD 620

Dell 5070 (coffee lake) no display out after verbose boot
when i go to boot the installer on this machine, i get the menu, i get the verbose boot. but then there is no more display out beyond this point. im not exactly sure what the problem is, ill admit i looked at a config from a prebuilt and tried the pciroot device settings(?) but to no avail.

Monterey Machd data Apfs superblock 0 fs root tree error
I have disk utility error within the MACOS apfs container with the MACHD-data and couldn't install ventura. Anybody had the same issue with apfs like fs root tree error or anything like apfs error.
I can't resize the apfs container either
Please help me I'm trying to upgrade from Monterey to ventura.

HELP macos ventura hangs on boot, guide hasnt helped fix it
Hello, I am having an issue when trying to run opencore for the first time. it will take a while \~30 seconds to get to:

and then it will hang. I have looked at the guide and followed it (the troubleshooting steps for this error too) to the best of my ability, but after an afternoon of troubleshooting this error, I am asking for help. please let me know if you need any config files, etc.

Help for 1st gen i7 / mobo
Hello everyone! I'm trying to setup a Hackintosh mainly because I need something I can run Safari and Xcode on for debugging. I'm quite tech savvy but there are so many different tools and versions and changes, especially when I need to install it on an old non UEFI PC, so I think I'll have better luck just ignoring my pride for a second and ask here.
My specs are these:
i7-950
8gb ddr3 + SSD
ASUS P6X58 E (non UEFI, supports USB 3.0, Intel ICH10R controller, Marvell PCIe 9128 ontroller, JMicron JMB362 controller which I'm using for the SSDs).
Gigabyte GeForce GTX650 2GB OC
I can tell that last supported version for this hardware is probably Monterey which I'm ok since I only need latest Safari and Xcode to run properly.
I only have access to Windows & Linux.
I've downloaded Monterey with gibMacOS, run makeinstall.bat but cant find the upgrade pkg it's been asking, I guess the directions on tonymacx86 are kinda outdated.
If anyone know and can spare a couple of minutes to bother, i'd like some bullet points, no need for details (not that I would mind, lol), like "Download Monterey from here, make a usb using this and that and use this efi file with these changes for your settings and turn X, Y, Z on and off on your BIOS".
Also, it would be awesome if there was a way to dual boot with Manjaro, considering each system will have its own SSD (just pointers again, no need for details).

Slow External Drive Speeds.
Hi! I've been running hackintosh for about a year now and even recently updated my OC to 9.5!
I recently made this update because I realized my External drive speeds have been abysmal. my Samsung 970 Evo+ in a casing which is able to hit 2000 MB/S Write and Read on my Macbook Pro is only hitting around 40 MB/s on the hackintosh. It's the same with my multiple external hard drives as well. Almost like it's capped around 40.

Hi, today i tryed to do an hackintosh and after following the guide and thinkering around i came up with my own EFI.. and its the first time im doing it so no wander i did something wrongy .-.
My pc specs:
i9 10900K
Z590I Unify from MSI
DDR4 4000Mhz TrydentZ 2x16GB
RX 5700 XT XFX THICC III ULTRA
(Ethernet is V225I from intel 2.5Gb)
Wireless is disabled in BIOS since im planning to use an M.2 adapter to pcie x4 and use my Fenvi card for native support.
So. Any idea of what it could be?
Maybe some BIOS stuff i missed? (im not used to MSI boards)
Maybe because im using an external ssd wich is 3.0 so even plugging it to a 2.0 port will not work?
Maybe some critical patch or some critical boot args or anything config related?

Corrupt EFI now it won’t boot
Hey guys; I shot myself in the foot good with this one: I just completed an install of Big Sur and mounted an EFI drive onto the computer hard drive so I could boot without the USB. The new EFI drive had another EFI folder already in it with a subfolder labeled “APPLE”. Rather than deleting that folder I merged it with my EFI folder from the USB with the OC and BOOT subfolders.
I reset the computer and realized I messed up. I have a Gigabyte motherboard model GA-Z77X-UD3H.
If I press delete to enter the BIOS setup the computer gives me a cursor which blinks twice and then black. 😫
I pressed the CMOS reset button on the motherboard and there was no change.
Is there anyone that might have an idea on how I can get the computer to boot?

What's the best way to get this restored any softwares terminal command I have 2 tb full of sound some of my recent projects.

Mac 12 montery opencore boots and starts the install but is stuck on 2h 19 min and the screen shuts off after ~10 min of unuse

WiFi/Bluetooth for Handoff/Continuity in Sonoma
I'm looking for a card that will work with Sonoma out-of-the-box, or with minimal hustle (kext loading is fine), I have T919 but that doesn't work after upgrade to 14.0.
I know there's a way for it to work with OCLP, but - is there another way? I'd like to have that working same way as on previous macOS versions or replace this card with something else (like a wifi card from an actual mac - if yes - which one?).

New Hackintosh worth it
Hey so my current Hackintosh is running an i7-9700k and a RX 5600 XT. I have 64GBs of Ram and my main thing that I do on the pc is university (programming), however I do orchestral compositions aswell in Logic (so I don’t want to change the OS). I’ve recently stumbled across a video from a YouTuber named SnazzyLabs who put together an i7-13700k hack. and now I was wondering if it would be worth it to upgrade my PC to a 13700k and then call it a day an let it be my last Hackintosh or save some more mine and wait until the M3 Max Mac Studio comes because the leaked scores of the M3 chips looked very promising when it comes to performance :D ?
