RX 5500 XT not working in Sonoma 14.0
hello. Today I've upgraded my GPU from NVIDIA GTX 970 to Radeon RX 5500 XT. I checked this card on official AMD GPU Buyers Guide from OpenCore, and it said that this card is supported up to latest version. So, I connected GPU to PCI Express slot, added agdpmod=pikera boot arg, resetted NVRAM. But the card isn't working at all.

Please just don't say to me that this card this unsupported. Please.
This Mac... window
This Mac... window shows only "7MB Display", and not RX 5500 XT as it should. Please help me. Maybe I'm missing something?

On above screenshot, I have 2 cards, because I haven't disconnected NVIDIA GPU. I tried previously, this doesn't change anything.
btw, it says that no kext is loaded for this GPU. looks like it's unsupported. but please, no.

Won't boot without -igfxvesa cpu spoof
Hello! I have recently hackintoshed my laptop which has an intel Celeron 3965y, and uses HD Graphics 615. HD Graphics 615 is supported however but the Celeron is not so I had to use a spoof for the CPU. My hex code for this spoof for the CPUID was A9060300 00000000 00000000 00000000. With this configuration, the system boots properly if I have the -igfxvesa flag, but without it, it goes through the basic CLI startup, and then a few moment after I get a couple messages saying itlwm: tasks task_add newstate_task add to queue. I did not see this message while booting with igfxvesa. I would prefer not boot with vesa as it is sluggish due to a lack of hardware acceleration. Is BCM94360NG also compatible for a Hackintosh build?
My respect to every member of this group. I have learned a lot of useful information thru this group when I was building my very first hackintosh.. So looking for an upgrade to my daily machine (Thinkpad T480) and planning to change the native wifi card to a Broadcom card. I looked into the FAQ section and in Dortania guide for the compatible hardwares. First in the list are BCM943602, BCM94360 and BCM94360CD. I looked this parts online but haven't found any available near me aside from BCM94360NG.. my question is will it be compatible for hackintosh?
Thank you guys so much!

First Hackintosh build, help with side car and moving from Catalina
Hi!
Thanks to everyone in this community for the excellent resources for making a Hackintosh. I am using a Lenovo M900 tiny and I ultimately used juanpy0223 EFI after not having much success making my own from scratch (thought that's my next goal). I built this machine to use as the brains behind my guitar / bass pedalboard. I've been experimenting with windows, linux and IOS for this purpose and am of the belief that a Mac might be the best option (though I've yet to try it on my rig).
I would like to use Sidecar as my primary / only display with my 2nd generation iPad Pro 12.9. I'm not seeing it show up in the devices list on sidecar in Catalina. I'm also not seeing the iPad for Airplay anywhere either. To be clear, I don't have a wireless NIC or Bluetooth card yet, but my intent is to run sidecar over USB. I performed a port map which I believe I did correctly while windows was on this machine. The SMBIOS is configured as a iMac17,1.
I'd also like to look at moving to a later version of OSX, I attempted an upgrade from inside Catalina to Monterey last night, but was greeted with an error which I don't recall so I'm not able to expound much on that. Doh!
Thanks in advance for the help!

Trying to install Sonoma, but getting endless boot loop after first restart (?)
I'm stumped trying to clean install Sonoma, and I feel like it might be something so small that I'm missing/forgetting. I've had and maintained a daily-driven Hackintosh since 2018 - I'd call it a "golden build" since everything in the OS was working (WiFi, BT, Continuity, Airdrop, Handoff, Sidecar). It started on High Sierra and I've successfully upgraded/clean installed ever since through all newer MacOS versions up to the current Ventura. For reference:
CPU: Core i5-8400 Coffee Lake
GPU: Radeon RX-580 4GB (iGPU also works)
RAM: 32GB DDR4
Motherboard/Laptop Make and Model: Gigabyte Z370N-WiFi
Audio Codec: Realtek
Ethernet Card: Intel Gigabit
Wifi/BT Card: Broadcom BCM9436
Bootloader: Opencore 0.9.4 (currently w/Ventura)
Last week I started creating a new USB installer for Sonoma with OpenCore 0.9.4. I've done this many times over the years so it's nothing new for me. For the move to Sonoma I did the following:
\- Create new USB installer with MacOS Sonoma and OpenCore 0.9.4
\- Removed current, working NVMe SSD #1 (WD Blue SN570 500gb with Ventura/Opencore 0.9.4)
\- Installed new, tested and working SSD #2 (same, WD Blue SN570 500gb)
I turn the computer on with the Sonoma USB plugged in, get the OpenCore boot menu (as expected), and select INSTALL. At the recovery screen I use disk utility to erase the main SSD (MacOS Journaled, GUID) as I always have done with the past MacOS versions. Then I run the Sonoma installer and it gets going. After around 15 minutes or so, the system reboots (as expected)... and I see the OpenCore boot menu again (as expected). I select the "Installer" option to continue the install (as expected)... and then here's where it stops going as expected.
Instead of seeing the Apple logo and "xx minutes" as would normally happen, the screen will go blank, then the computer will restart. From here on out, after POST the screen will go blank (no Apple logo, no OpenCore boot menu), then restart again. Then POST, blank, then restart again. If I get into BIOS and force a boot to USB... it still does the same thing - POST, blank, restart. I cannot try to clear NVRAM since I never see the OpenCore boot menu. If I just let it be it will just repeat the same POST, blank, restart boot loop forever.
The only way to get out of this boot loop cycle is to physically swap back to SSD #1, then externally reformat SSD #2, then start over. I am a little discouraged since this is the first time since 2018 that I haven't figured out a solution to getting the latest MacOS working with my build.
If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears.

Smart Tempo issue on Hackintosh on Ventura
Hello peoples!
I've come across a problem with Logic 10.7.9 and I'm reaching out to the Hackintosh community here to see if anyone has encountered a similar issue or can provide some guidance.
The Problem:
I heavily rely on my Hackintosh for music production. However, since updating to Ventura and Logic 10.7.9, I've been facing a Smart Tempo problem. It consistently misanalyzes the BPM, often displaying an unusual 252.9 BPM. Additionally, the "beat hints" feature isn't working as expected. Interestingly, my MacBook (no hackintosh), also running Ventura and Logic 10.7.9, doesn't have this issue.
Why It Matters:
My Hackintosh is my primary workstation for music creation and DJ set preparation, where beat matching, quantization and therefor Smart Tempo is essential. This problem is significantly disrupting my workflow.
Seeking Solutions:
Despite trying various troubleshooting steps, I haven't been able to resolve this issue, and it's becoming increasingly frustrating. If anyone has encountered a similar problem and found a solution, your insights would be greatly appreciated.
Ventura or Logic Issue?:
I'm curious to know if this problem is related to Ventura or Logic. If you've experienced this issue or have insights into which software might be responsible, please share your thoughts.
Considering an Upgrade:
I'm also contemplating upgrading to Sonoma, but I'm a bit cautious about updates. If you've made this upgrade and it resolved a similar issue, your feedback would be invaluable.
Upcoming Logic Updates?:
Lastly, I'm wondering if there's any information about an upcoming Logic update that might address this problem.
Your help and insights are highly appreciated! If you've encountered this issue or have any suggestions, please share your knowledge.

If you're interested, you can check out a discussion by someone else facing the same problem:
