Come to think of it, I'm still running into graphics issues, and some people recommend the "07009B3E" graphics patch. However, other sources describe it as a patch for the Kaby Lake generation, whereas I'm using a Comet Lake processor (i5-10500) with UHD 630 graphics. There are other recommendations too, but I'm not really sure which one to go with. It’s moments like this when I really dislike Hackintosh. Hackintosh is really difficult for a middle school student. (I might not be able to answer properly until October 1st!) What do you guys think?

Is a Hackintosh possible with Ryzen 8700F and RX 7600?
Hi everyone,
I am thinking about installing macOS on a spare 250GB SSD and wanted to check if my hardware is compatible.
My Specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 8700F
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7600
RAM: 16GB DDR5
Storage: 250GB SSD (for macOS)
Has anyone tried a similar build? Is macOS supported on this hardware, or will I run into issues with the RX 7600 GPU?

How to sync Bluetooth Link Keys between Windows 11 and macOS Sequoia dual boot?
Hi everyone,
I’m running a dual-boot Hackintosh with macOS Sequoia and Windows 11, and I’m trying to solve an annoying Bluetooth pairing issue.
Hardware
Bluetooth adapter: Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX210
macOS: Sequoia / Hackintosh
Windows: Windows 11
Bluetooth device: Logitech M650 mouse
Same physical AX210 adapter is used by both operating systems.
The mouse works correctly in both macOS and Windows, but the Bluetooth pairing/bonding information appears to be stored separately by each OS.
What I want to achieve
I’d like to pair the mouse once and have the Bluetooth Link Key / Long Term Key / bonding information synchronized between Windows and macOS.
My understanding is roughly:
Windows 11
Bluetooth pairing information is stored in the Windows registry.
The Bluetooth Link Key is associated with the device MAC address.
macOS
Bluetooth pairing information is stored in:
/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Bluetooth.plist
The plist contains information associated with paired Bluetooth devices.
My questions
Has anyone successfully synchronized Bluetooth pairing between Windows 11 and macOS Sequoia?
Specifically:
Where exactly does Windows 11 store the Bluetooth Link Key for a paired device?
Is it possible to safely extract the Link Key from Windows 11?
Where exactly does macOS Sequoia store the corresponding Bluetooth bonding key?
Is the relevant information still stored in:
/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Bluetooth.plist
on current versions of macOS?
Can the Windows Link Key be converted/imported into the macOS Bluetooth database/plist?
Conversely, can the macOS Bluetooth key be converted back into the Windows registry format?
Has anyone created a script/tool that automatically synchronizes the keys when dual-booting?
I’m not looking for a solution that disables Bluetooth security or permanently modifies the Bluetooth controller firmware. I’m specifically interested in synchronizing the legitimate pairing/bonding credentials between the two operating systems.
I’ve found older discussions about copying Windows Bluetooth keys to macOS, but I’m not sure whether those methods still work with Windows 11 + macOS Sequoia.

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad L440, and I’m wondering, what macOS version would you recommend for me? I want things to be more modern, but not pushing it. I also want iMessage and FaceTime to also work. I don’t want the version to be too outdated, but also at the same time, not too new because I don’t want to make it run like a jet engine.

I did hackintosh on a 10210u (comet lake?) which originally had win10 and set up dual boot
then i looked at my main laptop with Windows 11 - bloatware, explorer crashing, Windows Hello not working, Windows updates that does nothing and it forces me to update, laggy
and I want to install macOS on it now (preferrably Tahoe) specs are: Intel core ultra 5 125h, 7500mhz lpddr5x 16gb, 512gb nvme micron 2400, Intel AX211, 7core Intel Arc iGPU

Bluetooth crashes randomly
None of the audio hackintosh drivers work with my codec, but my Bluetooth driver works. So, I use my bluetooth speaker for audio and my webcam has a mic. But, and it's random, every now and then, my bluetooth randomly crashes. Sometimes, it turns off and back on, and when you try to reconnect to sonething, it turns off and on again, and sometimes, it straight turns off and doesn't work if you try to turn it back on, not even letting you view the devices list, and settings freezes when you try to go into bluetooth settings. I asked my friend and he said he had no idea. Can anybody help me figure this out?

I’ve been working on a pretty unusual project: bringing XNU up bare metal on a Sony Xperia XZs (Snapdragon 820 / MSM8996).
No VM, no QEMU, no Linux underneath — XNU is executing directly on the phone’s Kryo ARM64 cores and talking to the real hardware.
So far I have working:
native ARM64 XNU boot
MMU and cache/coherency bring-up
GICv3 and timer
all 4 CPUs online via PSCI
Mach SMP scheduler
reschedule IPIs and cross-core scheduling
BSD/VFS initialization
real Samsung eMMC through SDHCI
CID/CSD/EXT_CSD reads
GPT parsing from the physical disk
BSD block device /dev/disk0
GPT partition slices
bdevvp() and real block reads
RAMDisk md0 successfully selected as the root device in a real silicon run
The project is now moving into the root filesystem/userspace stage.
The next major milestones are:
RAMDisk -> rootfs -> mount / -> PID 1 -> execve -> EL0 userspace -> shell
So if the current bring-up goes well, I’m getting fairly close to the point where the device should finally drop into a minimal native shell running directly on XNU.
This is not “iOS on Android hardware” — there is no UIKit, SpringBoard, CoreAnimation, or other closed-source Apple userspace here. The goal is first to build a clean Darwin/XNU-style system from the open-source pieces and bring the hardware up one subsystem at a time.
Still a lot left to do, especially userspace, filesystem integration, display, input and drivers, but seeing XNU running SMP and reading the real eMMC of a 2017 Xperia has already been a pretty fun milestone.

Hope for Apple Silicon ARM64 translation layer (or something similar)
Now, I'm no computer architect, here's my take on Apple Silicon ARM64 translation:
I know most people say that it's supposedly "impossible" to translate Apple Silicon ARM64 to x86_64 or to regular ARM64. But I think it's possible; there have been things similar to this that people thought were impossible to do but were done anyway. There are also things like Wine, which have taken years to make even somewhat stable due to the fact the Windows isn't open-source but it was done anyway and it works like a dream for the most part (This probably isn't the best example since Wine is operating system to operating system rather than CPU binary/instruction set to CPU binary/instruction set). This is a bit far-fetched but also, since John Ternus became CEO, maybe at least he will make macOS somewhat open-source (at least basic parts of it and hopefully some of the Apple Silicon ARM64 code or even instructions) which COULD allow nerds alike to use that code and possibly reverse engineer macOS 27 Golden Gate.

OpenCore not detected by BIOS after switching disk from MBR to GPT/UEFI (Old Acer Laptop)
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to install macOS Sequoia on my old Acer E5-473G laptop (i5 4th gen / Haswell) using a USB installer built with OpenCore (EFI folder) + macOS Recovery files.
**What happened:**
* Initially, the USB installer worked fine — macOS was detected in the boot menu and I was able to start the installation.
* However, my disk was still using MBR partition scheme, which caused installation errors (macOS requires GPT).
* I reinstalled Windows, converted the disk to GPT, and switched the BIOS mode to UEFI.
* After rebuilding/re-copying the EFI folder onto the USB drive, my BIOS (InsydeH20 Setup Utility) can no longer detect OpenCore at all — so I can't even boot into the macOS installer anymore.
**What I've checked so far:**
* Secure Boot: disabled
**System specs:**
* Laptop: Acer E5-473G
* CPU: Intel Core i5, 4th gen (Haswell)
* BIOS: InsydeH20 Setup Utility
* macOS version target: Sequoia
Any idea why OpenCore isn't showing up as a boot entry after switching to UEFI+GPT? Did I miss a step when rebuilding the EFI after converting the disk? Any help is appreciated!

I’m facing two issues! The first is that the graphics are showing up as 7MB, and the second is that macOS isn't detecting the speakers as an output device.

Whenever I try to run hackintosh in my pc, i get blocked by the macOS startup.
Around april, i downloaded sequoia in my pc, it worked really well but after some time, it got blocked as in the image, and then i went to windows but recently i wanted to download macOS again, and so i tried to install tahoe 26 and it worked, but after the installation, it got blocked again. Can anyone tell what might be happening and how i can fix it ?
