SUCCESS: macOS Ventura 13.7.8 running on an i5-3330 + GeForce 210 (yes, really.)
After many attempts and a lot of trial and error, I finally managed to get macOS Ventura 13.7.8 running on this PC.
I used to run macOS Catalina 10.15.7 with Clover on it. I'm a bit embarrassed to admit it, but I accidentally wiped that drive while installing Windows, because I formatted the wrong disk.
After losing my Catalina install, I decided to try something newer with OpenCore. It actually booted, but OCLP wasn't working properly, audio was broken, and overall it just wasn't worth the effort, so I gave up for a while.
A few weeks ago I gave it another try, and now my two biggest issues are mostly working: audio and the GPU. Obviously I can't expect much from a GeForce 210, but it actually works over HDMI at up to 1080p 60 Hz.
I also ran into an issue with the iMessage app because my CPU doesn't support AVX2. Thanks to Claude Code, I figured out a workaround using CryptexFixup and a boot argument that bypasses the AVX2 requirement, and now iMessage works perfectly.
I also tested spoofing the Mac mini 2018 SMBIOS to see if I could get macOS 15 running, and it actually booted. Not sure yet if I'll switch permanently though.
As a secondary PC, it's honestly more usable than I expected. I can perfectly watch YouTube or Twitch at 720p (and even 1080p with a bit of lag), use Claude Code, and develop over SSH on my home server without any major issue.
The only thing that still annoys me is sleep. Sometimes it works perfectly, sometimes it crashes when waking up. I haven't figured out why yet, but I'll fix it eventually.

GPU: ASUS NVIDIA GeForce 210
RAM: 16 GB DDR3 1600 MHz
Motherboard: ASUS P8H61-M LX R2.0
Wi-Fi / Bluetooth: None
Maybe in the future I'll upgrade the PC (which basically means replacing everything lol) or just buy a cheap GPU. Anyway, I can't really complain, the whole PC was completely free!
So my question is if you guys would install macOS 15 on this hardware, or stay with Ventura for stability?

Lenovo V530s UHD 630 - I've tried almost everything I can think of. Any ideas?
I've been trying to get graphics acceleration working on this machine for a while now and I'm honestly out of ideas.

# Current behavior
I only ever get one of two results:
* macOS boots with 3 **MB VRAM**, no QE/CI, no Metal, very slow animations, etc.
* Or HDMI loses signal during boot (around the Apple logo) while the computer appears to continue booting. I know it finishes booting because I can still access it remotely.
# What I've tried
I've gone through Dortania's GPU troubleshooting several times and tried a lot of different combinations, including:
* Different `AAPL,ig-platform-id` values (`07009B3E`, `00009B3E`, and several others)
* Lilu + WhateverGreen
* Hackintool framebuffer generation
* Manual connector patching
* Different connector indexes
* Different connector types
* Different bus IDs
* Different pipe/index values
* `framebuffer-patch-enable`
* `framebuffer-stolenmem`
* `framebuffer-fbmem`
* `framebuffer-unifiedmem`
* Various framebuffer connector patches
* Different SMBIOSes
* Various WhateverGreen boot arguments
* Rebuilding my config after every change
* Proper USB mapping (UTBMap)
Every test was basically:
1. Change DeviceProperties.
2. Reboot.
3. See if HDMI works.
4. Check VRAM.
5. Check if QE/CI works.
6. Check IORegistry.
7. Repeat.
# Things I've checked
* Lilu loads.
* WhateverGreen loads.
* DeviceProperties are injected correctly.
* `AAPL,ig-platform-id` changes correctly in IORegistry whenever I modify it.
* OpenCore validates and boots normally.
So as far as I can tell, OpenCore is reading my config and injecting properties correctly.
At this point I'm not sure what I'm missing.
If anyone has a Lenovo V530s (or a similar Coffee Lake desktop with UHD630) working, I'd really appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction or share your EFI/DeviceProperties/framebuffer setup.
I'm happy to provide logs, IORegistry dumps, Hackintool screenshots, or my EFI if it helps troubleshoot.

I have successfully booted into Tahoe recovery but I don't see an option for Wifi, also i have no ethernet... Please help
Another question, i use a NVME but it has windows installed, i partitioned out like 150 GB in exfat but I'm not able to convert that volume into APFS and GUID in Disk Utility, I only get the option to format the entire NVME to APFS and GUID... Please help

WOL Sonoma vs Sequoia
hackintoshing since AMD Athlon days, anyway, building a 9th gen NAS, it's all good, working nicely, but WOL in Sequoia is not working,
so there's like 3 macOS version on the NVME as it's still in testing stages, everything works as it should in Sonoma, but in Sequoia as soon as it sleeps it dissapears of network, kinda useless for a NAS.
ethernet is intelmousie with -mausiwol in boot arg, WOL is enabled, networkoversleep is 1 also,
sleep image is fixed,
both Sonoma and Sequoia use same EFI of course,
just dont under whats causing this, i think ive covered all the bases since Sonoma is working fine, woud like to bump it up to Sequoia for long term peace of mind before deploying it.
please dont make comments how WOL should be turned off, not interested in that at all, maybe for you it should be, have been using WOL for years and its the main reason for having hackintosh servers.

You may already know me for being the creator of Hackmate,
you may already know me for being the creator of hackmate, a tool that helps make hackintosh installs easier by automating stuff like creating usb installers, generating efis, repairing efis, checking configs, and troubleshooting.
well... i decided to do something probably way harder.
as you probably know, apple is moving macos further and further away from intel. with macos 27 golden gate being apple silicon only, i started thinking:
"what if intel macs and hackintoshes aren't actually done yet?"
so i started working on a translation layer that could potentially allow arm64 macos code to run on x86_64 hardware.
basically:
arm64 macos

translation layer

intel cpu
the idea is similar to rosetta 2, but going the opposite direction.
obviously this is not just some open core patch. arm64 and x86_64 are completely different architectures, so there are a ton of problems:
instruction translation
memory handling
system calls
performance
kernel compatibility
frameworks expecting apple silicon
i know this is a massive project and i am not saying "golden gate is gonna run on your intel mac tomorrow"
this could take a really long time.
this could fail.
there are a lot of things i still need to figure out.
but that's honestly what makes it interesting.
hackmate started because i had the idea of:
"why should hardware stop being useful just because apple stopped supporting it?"
this is basically that idea taken to the extreme.
instead of making a fingerprint reader work on macos or making unsupported hardware boot, i'm trying to see if we can bridge the gap between two completely different cpu architectures.
right now i'm still in the early stages:
researching macos 27
looking into arm64 and x86_64 differences
building the translation layer
figuring out what is actually possible
i'm not saying i will 100% make golden gate work on intel.
i'm saying:
apple moved on from intel.
i want to see how far we can push it.

Help Hackintosh on HP aio , intel hd 4600 issue
Ciao, ho installato con successo l'ultima versione di macOS Monterey sul mio HP 23q009nl con processore i7 4790k e scheda video Intel HD 4600. L'audio e il Wi-Fi funzionano perfettamente, ma la scheda video non viene riconosciuta correttamente. Le informazioni di sistema ne riconoscono il nome, ma con soli 7 MB di VRAM. Ho modificato il file config.plist migliaia di volte, ma senza successo. Nemmeno OpenCore Patcher mi ha aiutato. L'ho scaricato per avviare la patch automatica del root, ma ogni volta che lo apro mi dice "nessuna patch richiesta". Qualcuno può aiutarmi? Grazie in anticipo.

Hackintosh on Lenovo Ideapad Slim 3i 15IRU8(Big Sur 11.7.11 - WORKING!!!)
So, after a few solid days and a bunch of EFI folders later... between me and u/suresh_rajpoot, I successfully managed to boot off a 15IRU8 Lenovo Ideapad Slim 3i!!!! HELL YEAA!!!!
Specs:
16GB DDR4 RAM
intEl Core i5-1335U
Intel Iris XE Integrated Graphics
Keyboard: PS2, trackpad: n/a(weird, don't know why - need mouse)
Boots in VESA at a solid 40/45FPS(very good) Recommended :P
efi folder and config.plist can be sent in DM(remember this is usually for 15iru8 so)
WIFI def works, but no bluetooth.

Bluetooth device correctly over USB.
USB mapping is correct ( 255).
BlueToolFixup is loaded.
RealtekBluetoothFirmware is loaded.

Intel 670p NVMe SSD can't detected by Recovery.
Hello!
I'm using the EFI from https://github.com/Bhavinjain260/Asus-Vivobook15-X515JA-Opencore
When I try to install using recovery, my SSD won't be recognized.
I've enabled show all devices and NVMeFix.kext.
How do I do that? I've also enabled SATA AHCI mode.
Pls help me :D
