#-Pseudoephedrine Hcl is a sympathomimtic agent, for sympathomimtic relief from nasal congestion.
#-Chlorpheniramine maleate is an alkylamin derivative, it is a sedating antihistamine that causes a moderate degree of sedation it also has antimuscarinic activity.
* Each Tablet of Ramol® Extra Contains:
Paracetamol 500 mg.
Caffeine 65 mg.
PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
-Although there is epidemiological evidence of the safety of Paracetamol in pregnancy and lactation, medical advice should be sought before using this product
-Paracetamol is a para-aminophenol derivative, it is a non-Opioid non salicylate. It has analgesic, antipyretic properties and weak anti-inflammatory Activity.
-Paracetamol produces central and peripheral analgesia by elevation of the pain threshold and inhibition of prostaglandin biosynthesis, and antipyretic action through the effect on the hypothalamic heat-regulating center, resulting in peripheral vasodilatation, increased blood flow through the skin, sweating and heat loss.
-Paracetamol is readily absorbed from the gastro-intestinal tract with beak plasma concentertion occurring about 10 to 60 minutes after oral administration.
-Paracetamol is distributed into most body tissues. It crosses the placenta and is present in breast milk .
-Paracetamol is metabolised predominantly in the liver and excreted in the urine mainly as the glucuronide and sulphate conjugates. Less than 5% is excreted as unchanged Paracetamol .
-The elemination half-life of Paracetamol varies form about 1to3hours.
-Caffeine is absorbed readily after oral does and is widely distributed in the body. It is also absorbed through the skin.
-Caffeine passes realily in to the CNS. Low concentrations are also present in breast milk.
-Caffeine is metabolised almost Completely in the liver and exereted in urine.
-The elimination half- life of Caffeine are about 3 to 7 hours
PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
Meclozine may be excreted in breast milk and it may be inhibit lactation due to its antimuscarinic action
- VOMIN® is antiemetic and antinauseant formulation of meclozine hydrochloride and pyridoxine hydrochlorid. It diminishes vestibular stimulation & depresses labyrinthine function. It acts also on the medullary chemoreceptor trigger zone to exert its antiemetic, antimotion sickness & antivertigo effects.
- Meclozine hydrochloride has a sedating antihistamine with antimuscarinic and moderate sedative properties so it is used in the prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting associated with a variety of conditions .
- In addition, the presence of pyridoxine in the formulation makes it beneficial in pregnancy due to the conversion in the erythrocytes to pyridoxal phosphate, the active form of the vitamin B6, which acts as a coenzyme for various metabolic functions affecting protein, carbohydrates and lipid utilization
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
-Pantrol® should be swallowed whole with water 1hour before breakfast.
-Gastro-esophageal reflux disease: one tablet of Pantrol® 40mg daily in the morning for 4 weeks ,followed by further 4 weeks if not fully healed.
-Benign gastric ulcer :one tablet of Pantrol® 40mg daily in the morning for 4weeks, followed by further 4 weeks if not fully healed.
-Duodenal ulcer: One tablet of Pantrol® 40 daily in the morning for 2weeks, followed by further 2weeks if not fully healed.
-Duodenal ulcer associated with H. pylori: one tablets 40mg twice daily along with Clarithromycin 500mg and Amoxicillin 1000 mg
twice daily or Metronidazol 500mg twice daily for 10-14 days.
-Zollinger Ellison syndrome and other hypersecretory conditions: initially ,80 mg once daily adjusted according to response (Elderly, maximum 40mg daily).
- Prophylaxis of NSAID associated gastric or duodenal ulcer in patients with increased risk of gastro duodenal complications who require
continued NSAID treatment : one tablet of Pantrol®20 daily.
-Each enteric coated tablet of Pantrol® 40 contain:
Pantoprazole sodium sesquihydrate 40 mg.
- Each enteric coated tablet of Pantrol® 20 contain:
Pantoprazole sodium sesquihydrate 20 mg.
- Each enteric coated tablet of NEXAZOL® 40 contains:
ESOMEPRAZOLE 40mg (as magnesium trihydrate).
- Each enteric coated tablet of NEXAZOL® 20 contains:
ESOMEPRAZOLE 20mg (as magnesium trihydrate)
- Each capsule of NEXAZOL® 40 contains:
ESOMEPRAZOLE 40mg enteric coated pellets (as magnesium trihydrate).
- Each capsule of NEXAZOL® 20 contains:
ESOMEPRAZOLE 20mg enteric coated pellets (as magnesium trihydrate).
Each sachet of FRUITAMIN® contains:
-Sodium bicarbonate 2.5 gm
-Tartaric acid 1.1 gm
-Citric acid 0.376 gm
- Flavour base q.s

-Paradol® Extra Tablets are suitable for adults and children over 12 years of age :- two tablets up to four times a day.
-Not recommended for children under 12 years.
-If necessary the dose may be repeated every four hours but do not take more than four doses in 24 hours

- In severe nausea and vomiting of pregnancy: One dose of VOMIN® at bedtime and one doses in the morning.
- For prevention of motion sickness: One to two dose of VOMIN® taken 1 hour before traveling, to be repeated every 24 hours as needed.
- As antivertigo: One to four dose of VOMIN® as needed in divided doses.
- For postoperative vomiting: Two dose of VOMIN® four hours before surgery.
