The Break We Deserve"
Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you.
Listen, listen, gather round,
Lemme drop some wisdom, pound for pound.
Everything in life needs a little break,
Even a fish gotta pause before another lake!
Work? Oh please, take five,
Or you'll grind so hard, you forget you're alive.
Eat? Slow down, don’t be that guy,
Food ain't a race, let your stomach comply.
Love? Ah yes, what a twisted delight,
One minute it's fire, next minute it's fight.
So take a break, re-evaluate,
Before you confuse true love with a dinner plate!
Even the government, oh what a tale,
Promises a highway, then hikes the fuel sale!
"We build for you, we care, we try..."
Yet my wallet cries, my pockets sigh.
They say, "Opportunities? We've opened the door!"
But to get through, you gotta know four!
A friend, of a cousin, of a neighbor's cat,
That once shook hands with a diplomat!
So take a break, breathe in, be wise,
Life’s a comedy, dressed in disguise.
Laugh at the mess, find your own way,
And don’t forget, rest is part of the play!
NEVER TRUST GIRLS.
They lie about their age,
hide their true selves,
smile, and deceive.
You tell them you love them,
but they won't tell you
how many men they've had,
or who's sliding into their DMs.
It's their secret,
and they'll keep it,
no matter what.
Girls are funny,
crazy.
They say they love you,
but when it's over,
they'll scream they never did.
They're in it for the money,
and when you're with one,
just know she's got four others
on the side.

You’re my sunshine, my daily dose of caffeine,
You turn my cloudy days into skies so serene.
What if I told you, you’re the peanut butter to my jam,
The “I’ve had a bad day” to my “Let’s eat pizza and spam!”
What if I said you’re like Wi-Fi, connecting all my parts,
And every time you smile, my heart forgets the charts.
What if you were a burrito, wrapped up tight in a dream,
I’d say, “You’re the guac, baby,” ‘cause you’re everything supreme.
You’re the reason my alarm clock feels like a soft lullaby,
And when you laugh, I swear even the moon’s gotta ask, “Why?”
What if I told you, you’re the plot twist in my show,
Like, "Wait...are you real, or a fairy tale?" You make me glow!
What if I asked, “Can we just live in our own little bubble?”

It's heartbreaking to see a boy
invest his heart in a girl who
doesn't appreciate him.
I understand his pain,
having been that boy myself -
the one who dismantled his
defenses for someone who took
him for granted.
I gave my all to someone
who sought happiness elsewhere,
destroying my own world for someone
who never recognized my worth.
But I've learned, and I hope that boy
will too.
May he find the strength to walk away
from a love that no longer serves him
and wait for the girl who will cherish him.

I hate you...
For the smile that withers, for every memory that refuses to fade.
For the good that anguishes me, for every joy that suffocates to death.
For the warm concern that hunts me, for every caring comfort that freezes within me.
For the sweet kiss that tastes bitter and stays, for every soft touch that spikes into my skin.
For the hope in life that dies in my eyes, for every dream that turns to a nightmare.
For the abhorrence that enters my heart, for the melancholic pain that burns my soul.
I hate you! For the promise that was never kept, for every “I'll never leave,” that left.

You’re the double tap on my heart’s Instagram,
A meme I can’t explain, but I’ll send to my fam.
You’re that feeling when Wi-Fi reconnects,
And all those unread texts suddenly make sense.
I want to define you
Like the perfect playlist, every beat a mood,
From funky disco vibes to chilled-out groove.
You're the unpredictable plot twist in my favorite book,
The one that keeps me hooked, with just one look.
You're the extra fries in my takeaway order,
A surprise bonus, making life a bit bolder.
You’re the typo in my text that turns out just right,
The unexpected laugh in the middle of the night.

But words are tricky, slippery, sly,
They can’t quite capture that sparkle in your eye.
So maybe, just maybe, I’ll keep it simple and true,
You’re my favorite daydream and I'm crushing on you.

In barber chairs or taxi rides,

Life’s a Joke, But Nobody’s Laughing
I get tired oh so drained
Wake up early? My soul is pained!
Alarm’s screaming, what’s the rush?
Let me sleep just five more blush!
I get to work, brain’s on vacation,
Mind’s buffering low connection.
Emails stack like bills unpaid,
Boss be like, "You’re here to stay!"
I lose focus, thoughts just roam,
Dreaming of Wi-Fi back at home.
I start to think deep philosophy!
Like why does lunch break feel so brief?
Then I wonder who’s to blame?
Bills go up, but pay stays same!
The government? Oh, let’s debate
Wait, is my phone tapped? (Check mate!)
I got few words, but here’s the deal,
Life’s a circus, we all just wheel.
I’m just human, not some saint,
Just tryna survive without complaint!
You asked me to honor my promise made,
To spare the queen from a battle's blade,
To preserve the kingdom, avoid the strife,
And return as the queen, full of life.
Here I lay, by your side,
Though my time on this earth may soon expel,
But I bring forth a new life,
Please embrace her, and crown her the queen.
For I've fulfilled my vow, as you desired,
As I fade away, let her voice be heard,
So, mother dear, accept this plea of mine,
And wipe your tears, for the queen lives on.

I wish our love blossomed stronger with each passing day.

In sunset's last breath, her mind rummaged in the remnants of him.
She turned the rubbles, searching for any fragment where her and him might still linger,
Nothing! Nothing but the ghosts of love.
Their love. It was beautiful and breathless, the magic and spark
Until it begun to fade, and here she is, gulping down grief as she drowns in the flames.
She loved him. The only way she knew. The best she could
But sometimes, even the best version of ourselves hurt the people we love,
A pain that even time is helpless to console!

No more spills on our favorite shirt,
Or stepping in puddles with a loud squirt.
Today, we laugh at life’s little messes,
Like losing our keys or tangled tresses.
We’ll dance through traffic with a grin,
Because today, my friends, we win.
No drama, no stress, just pure delight
