Some issues can be caused by app cache oversize.
1. Clear app cache and local database here: App menu - Settings - Data and Storage - Storage Usage
2. Clean chats cache by tapping here.

⚠️ Please note
Your chats are stored on Telegram servers so they will not be deleted from your account. But you will have to download texts and media again after chats cleaning. Save them to your storage before cache cleaning if you do not want to redownload them.

I have a problem with Telegram. It keeps removing some of my private chats from my chat list or folders. I don't mean that it deletes the chats completely for both sides—no, it just removes them from the folders. And when I delete the folder and re-add it, the chats don't come back. I don’t know what the issue is. When I search for them using the search tab, they reappear in the chat list after a few hours.

If you’re having issues with Plus not running, receiving notifications, or downloading files while the app is in the background, make sure you disable battery optimization for the Plus Messenger app.

Usually battery optimization settings for Plus Messenger are available in Android settings here: Settings - Apps - All apps - Plus Messenger - Battery - Manage battery usage. Please note: you need Android settings, not Plus Messenger settings!
