WHAT TO SUBMIT
We primarily welcome photo series and visual stories — a group of photographs connected by a shared subject, person, place, experience, or idea.Your
series does not need to be a large or formal project. It can be a small story from everyday life, aslong as the photographs belong together and help tell something as a whole.For a photo series:Please
send 3–10 photographs from the same story or project, along with a short description of what the work is about.If you do not have a complete series but have a particularly strong individual photograph with a meaningful story behind it, you may also submit it for consideration.Please avoid sending a random selection of unrelated photographs.We appreciate every photographer who shares their work with us.While we are unable to feature every submission, each one will be considered carefully as part of our editorial selection.

Inspired by Burmese mythology and traditional beliefs, this Fine Art portrait series presents an original fictional character rather than a direct depiction of an existing myth. Through creative editing, lens choice, and visual storytelling, the artist imagines a dragon-inspired goddess rooted in local folklore.
The story unfolds in three stages: The Host, the Spirit entering the Host—symbolized by the glowing blue eyes—and the Journey into the Medium, a spiritual realm between worlds. In Burmese tradition, dance can symbolize the presence of a deity or spirit within the human body, making it the final stage of the character's journey.

To all photographers, artists, photography enthusiasts, and dear members of our community,
We wish you a very Happy World Photography Day.
For years, we have never seen photography as simply the act of capturing an image.
We have always believed it is a way of seeing, telling stories, and connecting with the world around us.
Today, as we continue this journey with a fresh identity and a vision for the future, our activities will continue under the name FolkFrame Photography — across all the media and platforms where we will continue this journey together.
To us, FolkFrame is more than just a new name.
It is the continuation of the community that has been shaped by your presence, your vision, your experiences, and your stories.
From this point forward, we aim to build a space where we can learn, connect, share experiences, explore art, and tell photographic stories together.
We also warmly welcome photographers, artists, educators, cultural organizers, and everyone who shares a passion for photography to be part of this journey.
This is not simply a change of name.
It is the beginning of a new chapter in a journey that has been going on for years.
Thank you for being with us throughout all these years.

The IMPRESSION series came about from my dating experiences in college, noticing the different trends and styles that women wore to ‘impress’ or gain attraction. It interested me that so many women would wear binding or uncomfortable clothing, to either impress or attract others, or for their own self-esteem. Having degrees in both Sociology and Photography + Imaging, they definitely combined in this project to show my interest in how society functions, but to also show it in a visually compelling way. I hoped this series would reach women, and inspire them to question what they wear, and why they wear it.
