🖥 Anthropic Releases Claude Opus 4 and Claude Sonnet 4: World's Best Coding Models
Startup Anthropic has introduced two new AI models at once: the large Claude Opus 4 and the medium Claude Sonnet 4. These are the best models for programming today.
Key Features:
🔜 In most benchmarks, both models outperform GPT-4.1, o3 and OpenAI's latest codex-1, as well as Google's newest Gemini 2.5 Pro. Meanwhile, the "junior" Sonnet 4 doesn't lag far behind Opus 4, but the larger model works much better in agentic tasks.
🔜 Opus 4 can solve complex tasks and work steadily on the most challenging requests for several hours.
🔜 In agent mode, the models don't try to make their work easier by looking for "shortcuts" but honestly complete the assigned tasks.
🔜 The models can use deep reasoning before answering and use multiple tools simultaneously.
🔴 We've already added Sonnet 4 with deep reasoning mode to our bot!
How to Use?
1️⃣ Go to @GPT4Telegrambot
2️⃣ Enter the /model command and select Sonnet 4
🎮 Fortnite Returns to Apple App Store After Five Years
Epic Games' popular game Fortnite has officially returned to Apple's App Store in the US after a nearly five-year absence. This marks the end of a prolonged legal dispute over Apple's in-app payment commissions, which began in 2020 when Epic Games deliberately bypassed their payment system.
The new iOS version of Fortnite offers players a financial incentive to bypass Apple's payment system. When purchasing V-Bucks (Fortnite's in-game currency) directly through Epic, users receive a 20% discount compared to purchasing through Apple. This pricing strategy aims to highlight the impact of Apple's 30% commission on consumer costs.

🪐 New Candidate for Planet Nine Discovered
Astronomers may have found a new contender for the mysterious "Planet Nine," a giant planet thought to lurk far beyond Neptune. By analyzing decades-old infrared data from space telescopes, they spotted a faint, drifting point of light—its slow movement hinting at an immense orbit that could take up to 20,000 years to complete.
The discovery has reignited debate about a ninth planet in our solar system, but scientists urge caution. Only further observations from multiple telescopes and wavelengths can confirm whether this candidate is truly a planet or just another cosmic illusion.

🐤 Duolingo Will Replace Contractors With AI
Duolingo has announced plans to become an "AI-first" company. CEO Luis von Ahn wrote in a company-wide email that the language learning platform will gradually phase out contract workers in favor of AI for tasks that can be automated. In January 2024, the company already decided to cut 10% of its contractors as it began using AI for content generation.
Critics have raised concerns about the quality and reliability of AI-generated educational content. While von Ahn acknowledged potential "occasional small hits on quality," questions remain about how effectively automated systems can replace human judgment in language education.

🌠 Aurora Watchers Stunned by Rocket Trail Across U.S. Sky
On the night of May 17, 2025, skywatchers across the U.S. witnessed a rare double spectacle: a surprise aurora display accompanied by a mysterious white streak. Cutting across the sky, this streak was later identified as a fuel dump from a Chinese Zhuque-2E rocket passing overhead at about 155 miles ⤴️
When the white streak first appeared alongside the aurora, many initially mistook it for STEVE (Strong Thermal Emission Velocity Enhancement). This rare atmospheric phenomenon can sometimes occur with auroras. Unlike the fuel dump, STEVE appears as a purple and green light ribbon that typically aligns on an east-west axis and shows up at latitudes closer to the equator than traditional auroras.

🙃 LegoGPT AI Generates Stable, Buildable Lego Designs
Carnegie Mellon University researchers have created LegoGPT, an AI model that turns text prompts into real-world, buildable Lego designs. Unlike typical AI generators that often produce unstable structures, LegoGPT achieves a 98% success rate in ensuring structural integrity.
The StableText2Lego training dataset includes over 47,000 Lego structures and 28,000 unique 3D objects.
LegoGPT's key innovation is adapting autoregressive language models for "next-brick prediction" rather than standard next-token prediction, making its designs more reliable.

📱 Microsoft Shuts Down Skype After 23 Years
Microsoft officially retired Skype on May 5, 2025, ending the pioneering video-calling service's 23-year run as the company shifts its focus to Microsoft Teams. Skype first launched in Tallinn, Estonia, on August 29, 2003, when a six-person team from Estonia, Sweden and Denmark introduced what would become a communications revolution.
In May 2011, Microsoft paid $8.5 billion for Skype—its largest acquisition at the time—building on an active-user base of 170 million. The service's monthly active users swelled to roughly 300 million at its 2013–2016 peak, marking the high point of a journey that began with just 10,000 downloads on day one. Yet by 2021, Zoom had captured nearly half the market while Skype’s share had slipped to about 6 percent.

™️ Midjourney Omni-Reference: Put Anything in Your Image
Hi everyone! We've added the new Midjourney Omni-Reference feature to our @GPT4Telegrambot. This lets you add any object or character to your generated images. See the examples ⤴️
How to Use
1️⃣ Upload the image of the object or character you want to add to your generation to any image hosting service (like Postimages.org) and copy the .jpg or .png. URL.
2️⃣ Send a request to our bot to generate a Midjourney image. At the end of your prompt type the --oref parameter followed by the reference image URL.
3️⃣ Apply the --ow parameter (0 to 1000) to control how strongly the model follows your reference. The default is --ow 100.
ℹ️ To change the image style (e.g., turn a photo into anime), use a lower --ow value, such as --ow 25
.
ℹ️ If you want the object or character to be preserved accurately, try a higher value, like --ow 400.
📎 Example: /imagine a young lady in a coat under an umbrella on a rainy day on the streets of Paris --oref https://i.postimg.cc/wMq815nQ/IMG-6821.jpg --ow 400

🤩 Lab‑Grown Teeth Could Replace Implamts
Scientists at King's College London have grown human teeth in the lab using a special hydrogel scaffold. This breakthrough in regenerative dentistry could one day let you replace fillings and implants with living, self‑repairing teeth made from your cells.
Lab‑grown teeth have significant benefits over today's metal or ceramic implants. Because they're made from living tissue, they can mend small cracks and wear themselves over time. By using their own cells, doctors could avoid many rejection problems. Instead of drilling and inserting hard fillings, a dentist might transplant the patient's tooth cells into the gel and watch a brand‑new, natural tooth grow.
