In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and in support of their brave and honorable resistance, and in response to the horrific crime committed by the "israeli" enemy in the town of Meis Al-Jabal, which resulted in the ascension of martyrs and the wounding of civilians, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance, on the afternoon of Sunday, 05-05-2024, bombarded the enemy's artillery positions and the deployment of its soldiers and vehicles in Al-Za'oura with dozens of Katyusha rockets, causing damage and igniting fires.

Attached is a video previously released by Al-Qassam Brigades of the Rajoom short-range 114mm rocket system.
The system has recently seen a resurgence in use, after being used for the first time as cover fire for resistance fighters invading the Gaza envelope last October.
Last week, it was used for the first time since December 2023 in a pre-emptive abortive attack by the resistance on the IOF, targeting the "Holit" settlement near Rafah, 2km from the Gaza Strip. Al-Qassam Brigades targeted enemy gatherings there on May 1st with Rajoom and its military media released a video of the operation.
The operation targeted IOF gatherings mobilizing to invade Rafah, sending a message that they would be committing a grave mistake if they tried.
Today, the Rajoom system was used again to target an IOF military base at "Kerem Shalom," killing and wounding at least 10 IOF soldiers.
The system is comprised of a launcher that fires 15 144mm rockets, each weighing 18kg with 3 kg warheads. While it has high destructive capacity, it is limited in range and accuracy, able to hit targets 8.5 to 22 km away.

The decision of the criminal Netanyahu and his Nazi government to close the Al-Jazeera office and prevent it from working and reporting is a blatant violation of freedom of the press, and an oppressive and retaliatory measure against Al-Jazeera’s professional role in exposing the occupation’s crimes and violations committed by its criminal Nazi army and its terrorist settlers against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank. It comes as a culmination of the declared war against journalists who are subjected to systematic zionist terrorism with the aim of concealing the truth.
The occupation’s targeting of Al-Jazeera Channel, and restricting its employees to the point of attempted murder, as happened with the martyrs Shireen Abu Aqleh, Hamza Al-Dahdouh, and Samer Abu Daqqah, and deliberately suppressing and killing all journalists, until the number of martyrs reached 141 journalists in the Gaza Strip within seven months, exposes the falsity of the occupying entity’s claim of freedom of the press and journalistic work, which constitutes a grave violation and suppression of freedoms, which requires placing the entity at the top of the blacklist of countries and entities that practice terrorism and restrict journalistic work.
We strongly condemn this occupation decision, and call on international human rights and journalistic institutions to condemn it and to take punitive measures against the zionist entity, including canceling its membership in international journalistic institutions and gatherings as a step to force this rogue entity to respect journalistic work, and not to attack journalists who continue their role and mission in exposing truth and service to humanity.

🚨 The resistance's direct targeting of a military base in "Kerem Shalom" was carried out with at least 10 shells, which resulted in at least 10 injuries among IOF soldiers, including 3 dead and 4 critical injuries.

Security and field sources for Al-Aqsa TV stated that confirmed information from the resistance reports at least 3 deaths and around 10 moderate to severe injuries.
According to the information, the operation targeted a recently established zionist command post east of the "Kerem Shalom" military site, aimed at managing bombing operations that targeted the Rafah governorate two weeks ago and planning the Rafah operation, including officers from the Shin Bet and zionist generals.
Occupation forces left the injured and dead at the site without intervention for about an entire hour due to the ongoing policy of sporadic bombing, which was adopted by the operational plan and is continuing as of 2:40 PM.
