Yesterday, a man ascended whom no one knew, not even his real name—nor his influence—until the moment of his martyrdom.
Abu Mahmoud, Abu Imad, or simply, "Abu Omar Al-Souri" (the Syrian) departed from this material world. His name, the great martyr commander Hakam Al-Issa, is now etched in glory.
A Palestinian exiled in diaspora, he came to Gaza from Syria in 2005, carrying his family and children, with his heart set on the soil of Palestine. He had no concern but to pour his life's experience into the head of the resistance, and he became its foundational pillar.
From Khuzestan to Rafah, from Syria, Afghanistsan, and Lebanon to Jabalia, his prescence was a quiet force of creation, innovation, and resistance. He was the founder of military training of the Al-Qassam Brigades, bringing thousands of new fighters into its ranks, as well as a commander of its Military Council. There was no field that his hands did not touch.
He established the entire training and development system and the Al-Qassam Brigades Academy, where thousands of fighters carry his legacy in their hearts and bullets. He supervised the elite combat units and forces and helped build military instutes and colleges. He laid the cornerstones for Gaza's defense plan and engineered major operations. His expertise and devotion to the resistance was a blessing for the Palestinian resistance.
He was not known to this world, but Gaza knew him intimately. Its streets, its alleys, its lecture halls, and its training grounds hold his footsteps. In every speck of glorious Gaza's sacred soil, he left his trace, and and example to follow for the thousands that love him.
When you see the discipline of Gaza's fighters, the creativity of their intense operations, the engineering of Al-Aqsa Flood, the brilliance of tactics, the superiority of weapons: here are the fingerprints of Abu Omar.
When he first moved to Gaza, he lived by a vow: "There is no exit from Gaza after I have entered it with my wife and children, except to the West Bank as liberators, or soaring as a martyr to Paradise."
After 21 months of relentless war, Abu Omar ascended with his wife and grandson in a treacherous zionist strike. A man with the spirit of a soldier, a husband, a father, a leader has departed us, fulfilling his promise, soaring to Paradise from the soil of Gaza. Farewell to a founder, a silent giant, and the martyr of Palestine.

🚨 In the last few hours, the resistance of Gaza released updates on the developments on the ground:
⚫️ Saraya Al-Quds targeted a zionist military bulldozer that had advanced near Street 5 in the northern area of Khan Younis using machine guns.
They also took control of a zionist reconnaissance drone while it was conducting intelligence missions over the Shuja’iyya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City.
🟢 Al-Qassam Brigades targeted four zionist engineering excavators (bulldozers) with “Yassin 105” shells. Fires broke out in them, and the Al-Qassam fighters observed a number of enemy soldiers killed and wounded at the site. A helicopter landed to evacuate casualties in the center of Abasan al-Kabira town, east of Khan Younis in the southern part of the Strip.
Yesterday (Friday) they also managed to target a “Merkava” tank and a “D9” military bulldozer with two highly explosive roadside bombs in Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Strip.

Karmel Khawaja: A Thorn in the Jailer's Throat
From a Report by Lawyer/Writer Hassan Abadi
Karmel Khawaja (born January 23rd, 2004), a fourth-year student majoring in Business Administration at Birzeit University, from the town of Ni'lin in Ramallah, is imprisoned in Damon prison. As soon as she entered the lawyer's visitation room, her first words were:
"Tell everyone that here I am, just like outside, a Khuleyah!"
"Khuleyah" is a Hebrew term used to refer to the prisoner who distributes food to the other inmates. That role now belongs to Karmel, despite the harsh conditions in the section where ill prisoners, pregnant women, and cancer patients are held.
Her arrest dates back to the night of 2 March, 2025, when Israeli forces stormed her grandmother's home in Deir Qadis village. For standing up for her fellow imprisoned women, Karmel was subjected to 19 days of punishment--half of them spent in solitary confinement. The conditions at Damon Prison have worsened, especially after October 7. Female prisoners face intensified crackdowns: they're taken to the yard in shackles, and at times, access to the yard is taken away altogether. The Palestinian women prisoners told the visiting lawyer that they call one female prison guard "the evil one", as she repeatedly assaults and physically harasses them.
In a moving moment for the lawyer visiting her, Karmel mentioned a dream she had twice-of her nephew Mohammad, the son of her brother Tareq. She said his name as tears streamed down her cheeks. She also sent her love to Adam, Shaker, Yafa, Haifa, Lusin, Mahmoud, Mohammad, her uncle Sami, and to Waad and Ahed Sabbar, as well as to everyone who had asked about her.
Karmel recounted a touching dream about her former cellmate Dania Hanatsheh. She dreamt about her wearing the same clothes she wore in prison, and Dania said:
"God willing, I'll be released soon and we'll return to the way we were before, and even better."
"I'm fine now, don't worry... The other imprisoned women say about me: 'You're a thorn, a thorn in their throats.'" Karmel confidently stated to the visiting lawyer, Hassan Abadi of Haifa, affirming her unbroken morale.
Karmel sent greetings and Eid wishes through the lawyer to her family and loved ones. To her uncles Khalil and Ramiz, she said:
"I miss drinking coffee with you, I miss arguing with uncle Khalil, and I miss his hugs.. Be strong, and don't let my mother cry!" She also sent love to her university friends and congratulated them on their graduation discussions. She especially congratulated her friend Ahmed Sadaga on his engagement, and sent a message to her aunts and cousins.

The report published by the Haaretz newspaper, which included testimonies from officers and soldiers of the criminal zionist occupation army admitting they received direct orders to open fire on Palestinians near aid distribution points in Gaza, is a further confirmation of the true purpose of this criminal mechanism - a tool for genocide and killing defenseless civilians after starving and abusing them.
The systematic killing of starving civilians in Gaza is an egregious crime and yet another evidence of the brutality of the occupation and its fascist leaders, led by war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court.
We call on the UN to form an international commission to investigate this crime and hold those responsible accountable before international justice. This criminal policy has left so far nearly 570 martyrs and around 4,000 wounded under the pretext of aid distribution.
We further demand the immediate resumption of aid distribution through UNRWA and all specialized international aid groups to alleviate the injustice and oppression inflicted upon our Palestinian people in Gaza due to the occupation and its deliberate starvation policy.

🚨 The Commission of Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs:

This Thursday morning, Raed Abu Al-Hummos, head of the Commission of Prisoner and Ex-Prisoners Affairs, issued an urgent appeal to all local, regional, and international human rights and humanitarian organizations to take immediate action to halt the crimes of torture and execution being committed against detainees from Gaza held in "Sde Teman" Prison, which was established at the onset of the genocidal war that has now stretched on for twenty months.
Abu Al-Hummos made this statement after reviewing the visit of a Commission lawyer to one of the detainees held in the prison two days ago, saying:
“The 'israeli' 'Sde Teman' Prison in the Negev is a graveyard for the living. Everything the prison administration, its staff, and the military units operating there are doing is a complete denial of the humanity of the Palestinian prisoner. This prison has become a symbol of crime and chaos, where every guard can decide whether you live or die.”
He added:
“Who will stop this crime? The information we have is extremely alarming. There have been actual executions carried out inside this prison. We have testimonies from released detainees dating back several months confirming this, but it has yet to be officially acknowledged. All the martyred detainees who died inside this prison—who represent 8% of the total number of executed detainees since the beginning of the genocidal war, totaling 72 martyr prisoners—were only declared dead weeks or even months later. This is a deliberate policy of concealment and obfuscation.”
Abu Al-Hummos explained that the detainees in this prison are deprived of all rights and face death and the loss of life with each passing day, due to a terrifying and inhumane reality. In addition to beatings, torture, and humiliation, they are denied access to water for washing, except during brief outdoor breaks that are often days apart. During the recent war between Iran and the entity, for instance, they were confined to their rooms for 12 consecutive days and were only allowed out twice.
Cleaning supplies and disinfectants are scarce, and a single shaving machine is used by all detainees, creating an ideal environment for the spread of disease. Drinking water comes from the bathroom taps, and each detainee owns only the clothes on his back.
He also noted that 16 detainees are crammed into a single room. During the days of the "israeli" aggression against Iran, their hands were tied day and night around the clock. The overall treatment, according to the lawyer’s report, is harsh and inhumane.
Abu Al-Hummos warned against continued international silence in the face of what is happening inside "Sde Teman" and in all prisons and detention centers, saying:
“Our prisoners—men and women—are living through the most dangerous phase in the history of the Palestinian struggle. The occupation authorities are exploiting every international distraction to escalate their campaign of vengeance against them.”

This is the central point.
Some speak as if what is happening in Iran is disconnected from what is happening in Gaza.
We say that even during the war—and the war in Iran was for Gaza, for Palestine.
The occupation would not have struck Iran and committed these crimes because of what they try to claim is “interference.”
Rather, Iran is making all these sacrifices in order to support the Palestinian cause and to say “No” to the United States of America.
This unity—by God’s will—will grow firmer and more deeply rooted with each passing day.

When we are victorious, we are victorious, and when we are martyred, we are victorious.
The central question is: “Are you fighting for the truth or not? Do you accept to live in humiliation or not?”
Standing with the truth is not limited to youth and men, but also includes women and children.
We launched the slogan “We remain loyal to the pledge” in the path of our master, may Allah be pleased with him, and the martyrs, so that we may continue, remain, and be those who work as they did and live a life of dignity.
A person must prepare the necessary tools to succeed, and sometimes the enemy’s capabilities are far greater, and in that case the enemy might win materially.
We must do what is required of us, and the rest is upon Allah; therefore, we must prepare properly and with correct foundations.
The believer is definitely supported by Allah, and this comes from divine guidance.
Those who fought on the front lines in the Battle of Badr—if you knew how few they were compared to seventy-five thousand with all their capabilities—yet Allah granted them victory and guided them because they had made the necessary preparations.
We are reassured that Allah is with us and He grants us victory, because divine laws are from Him and support is from Him. If we assume that at some stage we were not victorious, the reason may be that we need to do something additional and prepare more.
What matters is that we are convinced that we are granted victory by Allah Almighty. As for the trials that afflict us, they are tests and examinations. We must be patient, for victory comes with patience, and relief with hardship.
Hezbollah supported the people of Gaza and Palestine, and that support was necessary and obligatory.
The act of support was a moral, political, and principled duty, and it was on the side of truth.
The sacrifices of the martyrs gave us momentum and strength, and the sacrifices of the wounded made us bear greater responsibility.
Allah granted us victory through perseverance and by regaining the initiative. We were able to rise again and remained steadfast until the moment the ceasefire was declared, striking painful blows to the enemy and hurting them.
The ceasefire agreement is a new phase, called the responsibility of the state.
Is there anyone with a sound mind who would abandon their sources of strength while the “israeli” side does not implement the agreement and continues its violations?
The aggression taking place is the responsibility of the Lebanese state.
The aggression on Nabatieh, on civilians, and on those working in currency exchange is unacceptable, and the state must carry out its duties.
Do you imagine we will remain silent forever? This is not true. We are a people who say: “Far from us is humiliation,” and you have tested us.
When we are given a choice, we have only one option: dignity. We win, and “follow us to see how we win,” and if not on the first day, then on the second or third—always we are victorious, either through victory or martyrdom.
Whenever there is a weak party, it means that “israel” will expand and take everything.
I extend condolences to the great leader Imam Khamenei, to the people, the army, the Guards, and the national forces for the righteous martyrs.

Daily Report of the General Directorate of Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip
The Civil Defense teams in the governorates of the Gaza Strip carried out 31 missions from the morning of Friday, 27 June 2025, until the morning of Saturday. These included one firefighting mission, 13 rescue missions, and 17 medical evacuation missions.
North Governorate:
• Recovered 9 martyrs and other injured individuals after "israeli" airstrikes targeted the homes of the Al-Zain and Dardouna families in Jabalia Al-Balad.
• Recovered 4 martyrs (3 children and a woman) from the Osama bin Zaid school, which was sheltering displaced people, targeted by the "israeli" occupation in the Al-Saftawi area.
• Responded to several injuries after the targeting of Halima Al-Saadia school, which was sheltering displaced people, and transported them to the hospital.
• Recovered 10 martyrs from the Al-Alami school, which was sheltering displaced people and was targeted in Al-Mashtal Street.
• Treated 3 injuries in the Al-Saftawi area caused by "israeli" quadcopter fire and transported them to the hospital.
• Treated 3 injuries after civilians were targeted in Palestine Stadium and transported them to the hospital.
Gaza Governorate:
• Recovered 8 martyrs and several injured, and extinguished a fire in the Al-Shawa building targeted in the Al-Rimal area.
• Treated one injury after the targeting of the Abu Hamda family home in Al-Shati refugee camp.
• Recovered 8 martyrs and several injured after an "israeli" attack on displaced persons’ tents at Palestine Roundabout.
Khan Younis Governorate:
• Treated 6 injuries and transported them to Nasser Hospital after the targeting of civilians near Al-Tartouri Mosque on Al-Mashru’ Street.
• Treated two injuries caused by a drone strike near Nasser Hospital.
• Treated two injuries after they were targeted inside the College of Applied Sciences and transported them to Al-Kuwaiti Hospital.
• Transported 3 injured individuals from the vicinity of the Turkish Slaughterhouse to the hospital.

We detonated a (Zelzal-4) explosive device, which we had previously planted, targeting a zionist military vehicle during its raid east of Al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City.

🚨 The Media Committee of Jenin Camp reports that the occupation forces has been carrying out continuous military aggression on Jenin city and its refugee camp for 159 days, beginning on January 21, 2025. The aggression includes home demolitions, property destruction, forced displacement, and the conversion of homes into military outposts.
As of June 28, 42 Palestinians have been killed, including 2 by the Palestinian Authority forces, and dozens more have been injured or arrested. Over 600 homes have been completely destroyed, and nearly 22,000 residents have been forcibly displaced and are still barred from returning.
In the latest incident, the occupation forces raided the eastern neighborhood of Jenin, stormed homes, beat civilians, vandalized property, and arrested several individuals, including former detainees. Bulldozers also destroyed civilian goods in public areas.
The recent report highlighted the severe impact on civilians, infrastructure, and housing in both Jenin city and the camp.

The Head of the Executive Council in Hezbollah, Sheikh Ali Daamoush, stressed that today we are creating our own Karbala with a criminal and murderous zionist enemy who moves with its aggression and crimes from place to place and from one country to another. Its latest stop was Iran, against which it launched a treacherous and brutal aggression with direct American participation, aiming to destroy the nuclear project, disable the missile capabilities, destabilize the regime, and ultimately drag Iran into unconditional surrender.
He said during the Friday sermon that in this war, they used methods of deceit, trickery, misinformation, all their military capabilities and technological means, and relied on allies and internal agents to achieve their goals. But they failed. They could not end the nuclear project, nor disable the missile power, nor destabilize the regime, nor drag Iran into submission and surrender. Instead, Iran emerged more cohesive, stronger in determination, and victorious through its steadfastness, resilience, and missile capabilities.
He pointed out that all American and “israeli” attempts to hide the facts, exaggerate achievements, and obscure the true evaluation of the results of the aggression will not diminish Iran’s victory nor cover up the American and “israeli” failure in this war.
He considered that Iran has proven to be a regional power too great to be broken and too noble to surrender, because surrender is the trait of cowards, the weak, and those without dignity—not the trait of the honorable and the brave. And Iran, under the leadership of the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei (may his shadow endure), is the land of the honorable, the strong, and the courageous, and it cannot submit to the will of tyrants and arrogant powers no matter the sacrifices.
He affirmed that Iran, with all its history, determination, resilience, cohesion, and national dignity, cannot surrender. He considered Iran’s victory in this battle to be a victory for the Palestinian cause and for all resistance movements in the region. The “israelis,” the Americans, and their Western allies must understand that their arrogance, haughtiness, and aggression will not lead to the success of their project, but rather will inflame the spirit of resistance among the region’s peoples even more. Their project to subjugate Iran and eliminate the resistance movements in the region is an unattainable dream—mere illusions and fantasies.
He pointed out that some in Lebanon, who lack national, moral, and human sensibility, have placed themselves on the side of the enemies and among the ranks of the aggressors, betting that the zionist-American aggression against the Islamic Republic would break and subjugate Iran and lead to favorable outcomes in Lebanon. But they were shocked when this did not happen, and all their calculations and bets failed—just as their bets failed that the “israeli” war on Hezbollah would crush and eliminate it. They were shocked again when that did not happen, and their hopes were disappointed.
He concluded by saying: These people must learn from the lessons of the past and not build their bets on false and failed illusions, because if they continue in this way, they will sooner or later discover that they are outside reality and outside history.

His martyrdom is a badge of honor on the path to Jerusalem and Palestine, and a herald of victory, Allah willing.
We knew the martyred General Izadi as a raised banner for Palestine and Al-Quds. He lived among us for decades as a fighter, supporter, and developer, dedicating all his energy and capabilities to serving the Palestinian resistance. Through his continuous efforts and deep faith, he was able to bring about a great revival and qualitative advancement in the methods of resistance work, its capabilities, manufacturing, and strategies.
The martyred general was an example of tireless movement. Through his broad relationships with various resistance movements and entities in the region, he formed an effective and influential communication network. He frequently held strategic and important meetings aimed at exchanging expertise and embedding it in the service of the cause of Palestine and its liberation.
The martyred General Izadi attained the highest badge of martyrdom in the path of Almighty Allah. He was the best representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran, its revolution, and its Guards. Through his jihad and blessed journey, he expressed the courageous and wise vision of the great Islamic Revolution, which was nourished by the luminous spirit of Imam Khomeini (may Allah sanctify his secret).
From the school of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), we learned that martyrdom is life for the nation, and that martyrs are its guiding lights. So glad tidings to you, O dweller of the gardens of eternity. We ask Almighty Allah for victory and success for the liberation journey on the path of Palestine, at the hands of the honorable resistance in Palestine and the region, and alongside the steadfast, sacrificing, and brave people of Palestine.

TRANSFERRED TO ADMIN. DETENTION
Hana Haitham Hammad, 17, was arrested on 9 June, after occupation forces raided her home in the Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron. On June 18, Zionists courts issued an 4 month-administrative detention order against her.
During the raid, Hana and her mother were subjected to field interrogation and abuse. Occupation forces completely destroyed the contents of the house. Her mother, Fadwa Mustafa Hammad, was then escorted by soldiers to the entrance of the camp, where she was released.
High school student Hana was supposed to be taking her exams during this period, but she was deprived of them alongside 67 students held in the colonial prisons. These figures do not include students from the Gaza Strip, a number of whom have been arrested since the start of the genocidal offensive, and some of whom are being held in unknown circumstances.
As two children prisoners are currently detained in Damon prison - Sally Sadaqa and Hana -, with her transfer to administrative detention, this brings the number of female prisoners held under this regime to 10, out of 47 held in occupation prisons.
According to the Commission of Prisoners' Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners' Club, by the beginning of June 2025, the number of administrative detainees had reached 3,562, including at least 95 children.
72 prisoners have been martyred since October 2023, 7, including the child prisoner Walid Khaled Abdullah Ahmad, 17, who was martyred in the Megiddo Prison in March 2025. Walid is the first Palestinian child to ever die inside zionist prisons. The occupation is withholding his body from his family.
Palestinian children like Hanna are systematically denied their rights, as occupation forces simultaneously continue to detain and target children throughout occupied Palestine. The Zionist entity's preoccupation for children does not only speak to an obsession, but also to the central place of children in the Palestinian resistance.
