🚨 The last two days have represented the largest series of direct actions in support of Palestine since October 7th, 2023 as part of the April 15th actions and beyond it.
Impactful actions were the address of the last two days, to reorient the movement from symbolic protests towards materially affecting zionist economic arms.
Actions took place in over 50 cities internationally on April 15th alone, reflecting the geographic extent of zionism's influence on the global economy, as it profits off Palestinian, Lebanese, Syrian, Iranian, Iraqi, and Yemeni blood.
Ports were blockaded, such as in Athens, Greece; Belfast, Ireland; ports in Montreal, Halifax, and Vancouver in Canada; and Melbourne, Australia. Major roads were blockaded in the US, including in Chicago and Oakland.
In the Bay Area of California, the Port of Oakland was shut down due to three simultaneous direct actions. Activists even creatively made parking meters unusable by jamming coin slots and card readers, writing "NO TAXES FOR WAR" and "Parking tickets are a war tactic the state uses to attack the working class." Blockades took place in Oregon, Philadelphia, and New York, and dozens of activists were arrested across cities.
Weapons manufacturers such as Boeing and Elbit were certainly not spared, with actions targeting them, their subsidiaries, and their funders in Britain and US, while Valero, Amazon, and others were targeted elsewhere.

This morning, 9 Google employees were arrested at Google headquarters in New York City and Sunnyvale, California, after staging a 10-hour-long sit-in in protest of the company's billion-dollar deal (Project Nimbus) with the zionist entity. The employees, who refused to leave, were put on administrative leave.

The US House of Representatives' condemnation of the use of the slogan "From the River to the Sea" comes within the context of the typical American stance biased towards the entity.
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine confirmed that the US House of Representatives' adoption by a majority of 377 votes to 44 condemning the use of the slogan "From the River to the Sea... Palestine Will Be Free" is a decision that comes within the context of the well-known and typical American stance, which confirms the bias of the official American system towards the zionist entity, and its hostility towards the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
The Front considered the adoption of this resolution by the House of Representatives to reflect the hypocrisy of the American administration. While it declares its hostility and rejection of the slogan "From the River to the Sea" and accuses those who promote it of being "anti-Semitic," it allows the zionists to circulate the slogan "From the Nile to the Euphrates", which means the establishment of "Greater israel" on the ruins of the Arab states and not just Palestine.
The Front added: "However, what is noteworthy is the vote of 44 American representatives in favor of this slogan, which is something we have not previously seen from within one of the most important official American institutions that sponsor the zionist entity. This indicates a partial shift in the stance on the Palestinian issue."
The Front emphasized the need not to ignore the popular movement in the American streets that opposes the zionist genocide in the Gaza Strip, which is beginning to grow restless from the official American support for the zionist entity. This confirms the existence of brave voices inside America that oppose these stances or the continuation of the flow of American weapons, and explicitly calls for a change in these positions, with some voices adopting the strategic solution to the Palestinian issue, and refusing to recognize the legitimacy of the entity.
The Front demanded the withdrawal of American forces from the region and the cessation of support for the zionist entity, considering the presence of these forces to protect the entity and impose dominance at the expense of the American citizen and their livelihood, and from their pocket, exacerbates relations with the peoples of the region and places America as an outcast and hated by the peoples of the world.
The Front concluded its statement by affirming that the slogan "Palestine Will Be Free from its River to its Sea" will remain the realistic discourse that echoes in the squares of the world, for Palestine and its people are a bright reality, and "israel" is the fabricated entity with no future or existence at all.

We, in Hamas, on the anniversary of Palestinian Prisoners' Day, pray for the souls of the martyred prisoners and ask Allah for a swift recovery for the sick among them, and send a salute of pride and honor to our heroic prisoners and noble female prisoners in the prisons of the zionist enemy, and we affirm the following:
Firstly: The goal of liberating our heroic prisoners from the zionist enemy's prisons has been at the heart of the ongoing Al-Aqsa Flood battle and will remain our top priority. The movement will spare no effort to achieve a deal of loyalty for them, where they will breathe freedom on the homeland's soil, by Allah’s will and power.
Secondly: The escalation of the occupation's crimes and violations against our prisoners and female prisoners in its prisons—from solitary confinement, deliberate medical neglect, inspections and humiliation, psychological and physical torture, and deprivation of the most basic human rights—are crimes that will not succeed in breaking their will, and at the same time, the perpetrators will not escape punishment, and these crimes will not be subject to a statute of limitations no matter how much time passes.
Thirdly: The systematic and horrific violations and brutal torture practices committed against prisoners and abductees from the Gaza Strip constitute a war crime added to the series of sadistic crimes perpetrated by the Nazi occupation army against civilians from our people.
Fourthly: We hold the occupation fully responsible for the life and safety of thousands of kidnapped detainees in the West Bank since last October 7, who are subjected to the most atrocious forms of torture and vindictive mistreatment, and we condemn the international silence in the face of ongoing execution and killing under torture they face in detention places, and call for intervention to save them and for their immediate release.
Fifthly: We call on our people's masses, living forces, and national factions in all areas of the homeland and abroad to unite efforts, mobilize energies, and escalate activities to support the prisoners, and support them by all means, and we call on our Arab and Islamic nation and the free people all over the world to initiate a global movement that triumphs for the cause of Palestinian prisoners in the occupation’s prisons.
Sixthly: We call on the global human rights and humanitarian institutions to expose the crimes of the occupation against the prisoners and detainees from our people in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, Al-Quds, and the occupied interior, and to take effective action by all means to press to stop the zionist enemy’s crimes against them, and to work on prosecuting the perpetrators in international courts and trying them as war criminals.

Fact sheet issued by Detainees’ Institutions on the occasion of “Palestinian Prisoner’s Day” coinciding April 17
October 7 constituted a phase that imposed radical transformations on the conditions of detainees in Israeli prisons, regarding information related to this cause and at all levels in the light of the aggression against our people and detainees and the continuation of genocide in Gaza since more than 6 months respectively.
Throughout that phase, the occupation devises committed terrible crimes against detainees, which led to the martyrdom of 16 detainees due to systematic measures of torture, medical crimes, the policy of starvation and many other violations and assaults conducted against male and female detainees, minors and elderly detainees.
In addition to what has been announced on detainees who martyred, the cause of Gazan detainees came within the crime of forcible hide imposed by the occupation since the begging of war, as thousands of our people were subjected to detention during the ground invasion of Gaza. The occupation still refusing to give any information on detainees from Gaza who still under arrest on Israeli prisons and military camps.
There are many reports issued by the Israeli media, which revealed terrible information on the martyrdom of 27 detainees from Gaza, who died in the military camps, including Sadeh Timan camp.
Detainees’ Institutions documented tens of testimonies for detainees in prisons and liberated ones, reflect the cruelest conditions in the history of the Captive Movement, in terms of the level of torture, assaults and retaliatory measures imposed against detainees in Israeli prisons, which affected their fates.

The anniversary of Palestinian Prisoners' Day on April 17th each year finds the number of prisoners in the occupation's jails doubling and their suffering intensifying, living harsh lives due to the inhumane living conditions imposed by the occupation.
This year, the anniversary of Palestinian Prisoners' Day occurs amidst the ongoing genocide war waged by the "israeli" occupation army against civilians in Gaza Strip, including children and women, now in its seventh month. Palestinian prisoners continue to face the most atrocious retaliatory measures aimed at depriving them of their basic rights, as the "israeli" occupation arrested over 5,000 prisoners from Gaza alone during the war, bringing the total number of prisoners to nearly 10,000.
Our Palestinian people commemorate Palestinian Prisoners' Day on April 17th each year throughout the homeland and abroad, after it was designated as a national day by the Palestinian National Council in 1974 to advocate for the freedom of prisoners in the criminal occupation's jails and to support their just cause, reminding the world that nearly 10,000 male and female prisoners languish behind the bars of the "israeli" occupation's jails, subjected to the most gruesome forms of torture and violations which exceed all norms and international conventions, especially the Geneva Conventions of 1949.
On this day, the Government Media Office salutes all our heroic prisoners who have spent the prime of their youth in dungeons of psychological and physical torture, administrative detention, solitary confinement, and medical neglect, defending our homeland, our sanctities, and our great Palestinian people. The Office also remembers the journalist prisoners who languish in the occupation's cells under harsh health conditions, with administrative detention extended for some without any notable charges, under baseless pretexts, and we stress the need for providing necessary protection to journalists performing their journalistic duties.
On this occasion, the Government Media Office would like to affirm the following:
Firstly: We demand that the international community take on its moral, humanitarian, and legal responsibilities, and urgently intervene to protect the prisoners from the blatant violations they face under the rule of a racist and spiteful occupation government against all Palestinians.
Secondly: We call on international and human rights organizations to make every effort to urgently release all prisoners, especially sick prisoners who are denied treatment and surgical procedures due to medical neglect imposed by the occupation, as well as to release all child prisoners and female prisoners, who endure conditions beyond imagination in the occupation’s jails where they are subjected to various forms of torture.

On April 17th, Palestinian Prisoners’ Day, two historic operations were carried out in 2004 and 2006.
In 2004, the first response to the assassination of Hamas' spiritual head Ahmed Yassin came in the form of a joint operation by Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades and Al-Qassam Brigades. At the colonial Erez crossing in Gaza, the determined 22-year-old Fadi Ahmed Al-Amoudi carried out the martyrdom operation with his eyes set on the Shin Bet. This took careful planning; the resistance's engineers spent weeks to come up with an innovative way to bypass the zionist's metal detectors, and a new type of explosive was forged. Fadi was ready; he recited his will describing his "faith in right to live on the sacred land of Palestine and the continuation of the path of resistance."
On the fateful Saturday, he headed to the crossing to carry out his operation, filmed in its entirety by Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades. The explosive detontated, killing three zionist intelligence officers and wounding two others. This operation proved the failure of all levels of "security" and "intelligence" that the zionists thought provided them safety.

In 2006, Samer Hammad made his way to the epicenter of the zionist entity, “Tel Aviv,” prepared to ascend to martyrdom. In the midst of heightened occupation security activity due to Passover, he snuck across multiple colonial barriers with 13 kilograms of explosive material. 11 settlers were killed and over 70 wounded as Hammad ascended to martyrdom.
The operation came as a tribute to Palestinians imprisoned by the occupation, and yet another confirmation that resistance continues until victory. The hero martyr’s body was held by the occupation for six years before being returned to his family. In his will, Hammad wrote:
“Convoys of martyrdom fighters are coming and are prepared to respond [to the enemy]. They will know that we love martyrdom and death as they love life.”

This year, Palestinian Prisoners' Day comes amidst the heroic battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, in which our people and their valiant resistance have been engaged for over six months, defending the land, thawabet, and holy sites, and triumphing for Al-Quds, the prisoners, and the path [Al-Aqsa].
On this day, our people recall the suffering and pain of thousands of prisoners and detainees in the zionist enemy's prisons, as well as their sacrifices and heroics in overpowering the zionist jailer, renewing their vow of loyalty and solidarity with them until their liberation from the occupation's prisons.
