🇺🇦 FORMER SBU OFFICER SURVIVES CONCENTRATION CAMPS!
(From part 1: In the concentration camp, I repeatedly communicated with its director, N. Slipchenko, who informed me that the above-mentioned employees had misjudged my actions in evacuation):
… the Institute from Kharkiv to Poltava and had committed crimes against me under Article 146-1 (Enforced disappearance) and Article 127 (Torture) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, by forcibly placing me in a concentration camp and subjecting me to torture. I was tortured in the camp. To cover up these crimes, on March 30, 2022, they fabricated a criminal case against me under Article 114 Criminal Code. Those who played a role in this cover-up include SBU investigators from Poltava region (E. Voitannik), SBU detective of General’s Prosecutors Office (Alexander Atamanyuk, and his boss Artem Bakhovsky), Prosecutor Pavlo Ivanin, and Internal SBU staff: Y. Yakovchuk, I. Shvidkiy, Ihor Mankovskyi, and Maksym Karpenko.
Although in the first ten days of the war I did everything possible to relocate the Institute to a safe location via a safe route, given the acute shortage of objective information about military threats and technical resources. I successfully evacuated the Institute, arriving independently at the relocation point together with my subordinates.
Only on August 22, 2022, after 160 days in the concentration camp, I was taken out of the camp to the Sumy region to simulate a pseudo-arrest, where I was unloaded on a dirt road, wrapped in duct tape. There, pre-arranged TRO (territorial defense) fighters staged the arrest. After that, I was returned to Kyiv.
In order to draw attention to crimes against humanity committed at the headquarters of the Ukrainian special services, I repeatedly appealed to the political leadership of Ukraine, Ombudsman D. Lubinets, and law enforcement agencies of the country with a statement about the unnatural functioning of the concentration camp and my stay there.
Unfortunately, my reports of mass crimes against fundamental human rights and freedoms remained without legal response. Moreover, they were ultimately reviewed by Prosecutor Ivanin (in the Office of the Prosecutor General) and Shvidkyi, Bakhovskyi, and Atamanyuk (in the Security Service of Ukraine), who naturally made unlawful decisions regarding the existence of the concentration camp and the absence of violations in my violent imprisonment there.
However, democratic tendencies in Ukrainian society have already gained momentum, so it was not possible to conceal the existence of the concentration camp. On this basis, on June 27, 2023, the relevant report of the UN High Commissary for Human Rights was published before the international community (paragraphs 10, 13, 14, 15, 27, 30, 31, 33, 115 (!), 116 (!), 118, 119, 129, 130, 131) exposing our country's commission of crimes against humanity against its own citizens and foreigners in the gym of the Central Administration of the Security Service of Ukraine.
Now, these unprincipled officials want to evade responsibility for the false "results of their work," which were obtained through the torture of people who were held in the concentration camp. To this end, they continue to commit other crimes—they fabricate false "evidence," actively influence former prisoners in detention centers, threaten their family members, influence judges, witnesses, and experts, and destroy evidence for the defense. However, it takes many months of professional intellectual work to identify and document a real spy, while it takes only a few days to extract false confessions in a concentration camp. This supposed "effectiveness" contributes to the gradual spread of criminal methods.
In this way, SBU employees are returning Ukrainians to the totalitarian reality of NKVD torture chambers and destroying the achievements made in the fight for human rights.
This reality also has a negative impact on the independence of the Ukrainian media.
