Russian elements hit two mechanised brigades, a mountain assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a marine brigade, and a territorial defence brigade near Novogeorgiyevka, Sosnovka, Alekseyevka (Dnepropetrovsk region) and Iskra (Donetsk People's Republic).
▪️ The AFU losses amounted to more than 240 troops, three armoured fighting vehicles, eight motor vehicles, and six artillery guns including two U.S.-made 155-mm Paladin self-propelled artillery systems. 🎯 Artillery systems were fired at a group naval target imitating an assault landing ship detachment of the mock enemy.
⚓️ Y-8 Chinese anti-ship aircraft and Il-38 naval aviation aircraft of the Pacific Fleet were involved in actions to locate and destroy the mock enemy submarine. Shipboard helicopters were also deployed in the search for the mock enemy submarine.
💥 As a result of effective and cohesive actions, the mock enemy submarine was promptly located and conditionally destroyed.
🤝 After completing the anti-submarine tasks, the Russian and Chinese ships crews thanked each other for fruitful work.
➡️ Having replenished supplies, ship crews of the Russian Navy and the People's Liberation Army Navy will form a new detachment to perform joint patrols in the Asia-Pacific Region.
