Friends,

We've recently been experiencing instability in OpenRouter, the AI model aggregator we use to process AI queries for all models except belonging to Google and OpenAI. If you're using the default presets, these issues shouldn't affect you. However, if you've chosen a model like Claude or Grok, we recommend switching to any model from Google or OpenAI if you experience any issues.

Also, if you're using your own OpenRouter keys, we recommend using Google AI Studio or OpenAI keys. Yes, we've added Google AI Studio to the list of AI providers for which you can bring your own keys!

Over the past few weeks, instability in the default presets caused by OpenRouter has been the only major issue related to digests. Having fixed this, we're proud to announce the end of the testing phase for this feature! Digests are now a fully-fledged part of the Junction Bot system! However, we've decided to retain the ability to generate digests on free accounts. Just keep in mind that if you don't have a demo or paid bundle, the "Generated in Junction Bot" signature will soon be added to your digests. Remember, the cheapest bundle costs just 3 euros and allows you to generate digests from up to 25 sources simultaneously without any additional signatures!

Enjoy using it!

Friends,

We are currently experiencing issues again with OpenRouter—the AI provider we use to process all AI requests that do not involve OpenAI models. We are already working on redesigning this approach to reduce our reliance on OpenRouter, and we hope to have a solution in place next week to spare you any inconvenience caused by this.

If you are experiencing interruptions in AI processing or digest generation, we recommend switching to OpenAI models for now. These are used directly, without going through OpenRouter, so they are not affected by the aggregator’s outages.

We apologize for the inconvenience!

🤖 Duplicate-Safe Digests: The New “Digest History” Feature

We’ve updated the digest generation mechanism so your summaries become even cleaner and more professional. Now the bot analyzes its past digests before creating a new one.

How it works in practice (crypto communities use case):

For admins who run networks of channels and process massive amounts of news from dozens of sources every day, this feature solves the main problem — duplicate information.
🚫 No repeats: System prompts now automatically take one previous digest into account. If a story was already among the top items yesterday, the AI won’t suggest it again and will instead focus on fresh data.
📈 Context and trends: In the prompt settings, you can now manually specify how many past digests the bot should consider.
🎓 Maximum for professionals: In the Expert bundle, you can include the history of up to 10 previous digests. This is perfect for creating reports on long-running topics without a single repeat.

Why do you need it?
Digest history removes the need to manually check posts for uniqueness. Your content becomes cleaner, and your workflow fully automated.

Upgrade to Expert and take your content to the next level! 💼

🚀 You can configure the history here: Side Menu → My Digests

📂 Projects: how to manage a network of channels without chaos and confusion

When the number of forwardings in a bot goes beyond a dozen, navigating the general list becomes difficult. Our expert users are already using Projects to turn forwarding management into a clear and logical system.

How it works in practice (crypto business case):

Instead of keeping all tasks in one “pile,” the user split their flows into 4 clear directions:
🌍 English-language channels: a separate project for forwards where content is automatically translated by AI from Russian into English.
🇷🇺 Russian-language channels: a folder for scaling original content to the core audience.
💬 Reviews: a project where client feedback is collected to increase trust in the brand.
🤖 Personal translator: a unique setup where the bot is used in private chat as a fast tool for communicating with international clients.

Why does this matter?
This structure lets you switch between tasks instantly. You no longer need to search for a specific rule among dozens of others — just open the right folder and stay fully in control of the process.

💡 Recommendation: If you’re just starting to set up forwards, create projects right away. This will save you from having to manually move dozens of rules from the general list in the future.

Upgrade to Expert and organize your workflow efficiently! 💼

Hi!

We know how hard it is to manage forwardings when they start piling up.

We’ve solved this problem. We’ve launched a powerful new feature — Projects 📂

Now you can organize your forwardings and digests into separate thematic folders. Each forwarding lives in its own “bucket,” so you only work with what you need right now.

The feature is available exclusively in the “Expert” bundle.

What you get:
✅ Total organization: Create separate projects for different topics.
✅ Convenience: Switch between projects in just a couple of clicks — each one has its own isolated list of forwardings.
✅ Safety: You won’t mix up settings across different topics.

Upgrade to the “Expert” bundle and streamline your workflow! 💼

🎯 How to Build the Perfect Digest: Customizing the Prompt for Yourself

Junction Bot offers three great system prompts, but the real magic begins when you create your own individual prompt 🤩. It becomes your personal analyst, working for you 24/7.

How can you ensure the bot delivers only the most relevant information? 👀

Our users in the financial sector are already using sophisticated instructions. Here are their top recommendations:

⚡️ Define the Context: Don't just say "collect news." Assign a role: "You are a stock market analyst" or "You are a crypto signal assistant." Set your primary filter: "How will this affect my wallet?".
⚡️ Provide Structure: Ask the bot to group messages by category (e.g., "Market," "Regulation," "Insides").
⚡️ Set Timeframes: Be specific: "Analyze ONLY events from the last 2 or 4 hours." This helps cut out outdated noise.
⚡️ Remove the Clutter: Explicitly state: "Ignore emojis, FOMO-forecasts, ad links, and messages from specific bots."
⚡️ Configure the Format: Use rules like "One news item = one line" or "No more than two sentences per story."

Examples from our users:
📈 Crypto Trading: The bot aggregates transaction volumes from logs and identifies top tokens over the last 4 hours.
💬 Chat Analysis: AI extracts the essence from thousands of messages, leaving only key token theses without the chatter.
📊 Your country Market: Filtering global news with a focus on factors specifically affecting the Exchange stocks.
🌍 Global Overview: A 24-hour summary from dozens of sources: duplicate removal and an alphabetical list of assets with summaries.

How to create your individual prompt? Go to Side Menu → My Digests. 🛠

Experiment with prompts — and your digest will become a powerful tool that saves you hours of routine!

Friends,

The issue with frozen digest generation has been resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience!
We've taken all the steps to prevent this from happening again.

Frozen digests that didn't run as scheduled will need to be generated manually (see the corresponding option in the context menu).
Currently, you may see the status "Not scheduled" for some digests. We'll fix this within an hour, and these digests will run automatically as scheduled again. If you see the status "Scheduled for...", everything is fine and you don't need to do anything.

🕵️‍♂️ Who said what and what was decided: Group Digests for private chats

Opening a private chat to find 500+ unread messages? In the flood of chatter, it’s easy to miss the point: what was discussed, what interesting proposals were made, and who recommended what.

For these situations, Junction Bot offers Group Digests.

🚀 It is the perfect solution for private chats and groups:

1. All you need is the Direct or Expert bundle and a connected account.
2. Done. The bot silently analyzes the chat history you already have access to. You do not need to add the bot to these chats.

👫 Human-level context understanding: Our fine-tuned AI algorithm doesn’t just summarize text; it understands hierarchy and hidden context.

A real-world example from a user: A boss wrote in a chat from a personal account (no photo, job title, or last name). The bot analyzed the communication style and the reactions of other participants—and in the final digest, it unerringly highlighted his words as a priority 🔥.

What does it look like inside? Instead of a wall of text, you get a clear, structured digest:
📌 The Idea: What the debate is actually about and why it’s critical for the participants.
🗣 People: The bot breaks down the discussion by role. "John proposed X," "Andy objected with Y." It filters out the chatter and keeps only important statements—with a direct link to the original message, so you can instantly verify the context.
The Outcome: The most important field. What decision was reached? Are there any open questions?

You can see an example of our Group Digest here ⭐️: @group_digest

How to free up 2 hours a day without losing context

Staying up to date today is an expensive luxury. We talked to users and found out that reading Telegram channels can take up to 2 hours a day. Often, it’s just searching for tiny bits of meaning in a stream of “noise” and other people’s emotions.

Digests are not just shortened texts. The main goal is to remove information noise so you can immediately see what really matters without getting distracted by “water.”
You can see examples of our digests here: @WatcherGuruDigest

Why is this convenient?

🎯 Smart selection. The system looks not only at the text, but also at how people react to it. When creating a digest, the algorithm takes into account the number of likes and comments relative to views. Your selection will include only important information.

🧘 “Clear head” effect. You get only facts, without unnecessary emotions or empty speculation. This helps you stay calm and avoid burnout from an endless stream of information.

👀 You won’t miss anything. No more worrying that you overlooked an important piece of news, a trend change, or a promotion just because you didn’t scroll the feed all day. You get the essence in a single summary.

Stay in the loop without sacrificing your time. Instead of endless scrolling — one minute of calm reading.

Set up your first Digest:

Hello!

Digests are now available to everyone! 🔥

Previously, this feature was only available to closed beta participants.

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback! We carefully reviewed your responses, fixed bugs, and improved the feature based on your ideas.

Today, we’ve opened up Digests to all Junction Bot users! 🎉

It’s the best way to stop drowning in an endless stream of messages. AI reads channels and groups for you, filters out spam and "fluff," leaving only what matters most.

The speciality of our Digests is that you write the instructions for the neural network yourself. Simply provide a prompt or specify the topics you are interested in, and the neural network will include only information about relevant conversations from your chats in your digest. Of course, there are also ready-made prompts — use them "as is" or customize them for your specific tasks.

How it works:
Flexibility: Set up a scheduled digest (e.g., every morning) or request an instant summary manually whenever you need it.
Availability: Digests are included in all bundles! 🎁 Free generations are available, but advanced models are only accessible in paid mode.
Time-saving: You no longer need to read endless discussions in groups or numerous posts in channels to avoid missing something important.

How to find it: Open the Junction Bot app and look for the new My Digests item in the side menu. Documentation is available here.

Enjoy using it! ✨

Thank you for your interest and trust. It really charges up the team!

What is happening today: We are starting to grant access to those who made it onto the list. Throughout the day, you will receive a notification (likely directly within the bot) with instructions on how to activate AI Digests.

If you didn't make it: Don't worry! We plan a Public Launch in January, as soon as we gather the first feedback and ensure stability.

We will share news and insights from the testing field right here. Stay tuned!

Hey everyone! 👋

We've just rolled out the forwarded message filter — a feature you've been asking for.

Here's what it does:
When you're pulling information from multiple sources, you often need to separate original content from reposted material. Previously, you had to do it manually — now the filter handles it automatically.

Three modes to choose from:

all — forwards all messages (same as before)
direct only — original messages only
forward only — reposted content only

🔧 How to turn it on (two clicks)

Menu → My Forwards → Select Forward → Filtering → Filter Forwards

Pick your mode and save. The filter starts working instantly.

Full guide: https://www.junctionbot.io/instructions/how-to-filter-forwarded-messages

Who's this for:
Traders — filter out the noise in signals, keep only original sources

Analysts — collect data straight from the source, no reposts

Content curators — automate your content picks without manual review

Researchers — working with large volumes of data? Get a clean dataset

Big thanks to the community for the ideas! This update is the result of your feedback.

Happy filtering! 🚀

🚫 How to Remove Ads Forever

“How do I remove ads?”
is a very common question. This is especially critical for those who monitor hundreds or thousands of channels at the same time (for example, in crypto), where manual selection is impossible and advertising noise prevents you from catching profitable opportunities in time.

To keep your channel clean, set up a combination of AI and filters:

1️⃣ Filtering order: in the forwarding settings, select “after ai.”
2️⃣ AI processing: choose the “Ad Check” prompt from the prompt library. The neural network detects even cleverly disguised native ads and marks them with a tag.
3️⃣ Filters: add a blocking filter|AD|.

How does it work?
The AI detects advertising intent and adds the tag |AD|. The bot sees this tag and automatically blocks the post before it reaches your feed.

Your content becomes cleaner, and the process is fully automated.

🛠 Try it: Main Menu → My Forwards → Forwarding Rule Settings.

Friends,

we have fixed the bug with the limit of 3 sources in digests for all bundles when an account is not connected. If you are using the Economy or Express bundle, you don’t need to do anything. If you are using the Direct or Expert bundle, please note an important requirement: your account must be connected for these bundles to work.

To make sure everything works correctly, please check two things:

✅ Your account is successfully connected to Junction Bot,
✅ This account is actually a member of those sources.

We apologize for the temporary inconvenience. 💙

Also, today there are delays on the side of some LLM-providers, which may cause errors when generating digests or during AI processing. Restarting the generation should resolve the issue.

📂 How to Organize Your Forwards: A “Projects” Use Case

If you use Telegram for business, you know that once the number of forwardings grows, managing them in one long list becomes extremely difficult. Our real estate users have already found a solution with the new Projects feature.

Why do you need Projects?
They’re a way to visually and logically separate different areas of your business, working like folders.

How this simplifies your workflow (real estate example):

🏠 Segment separation: Instead of one massive list, you create separate folders such as “1-Bedroom Rentals,” “2-Bedroom Rentals,” and “Sales.” This lets you instantly review forwardings for a specific property type without scrolling through hundreds of unrelated settings.

🎯 Noise isolation: You can separate important business forwardings from technical ones.

🧠 Easy management: You no longer have to keep the structure of dozens of forwards in your head. Just open the relevant project where everything is already configured and neatly organized — significantly reducing cognitive load.

Projects are your personal organizer, turning chaos into a clear, structured workflow.

💡 Recommendation: If you’re just starting to create forwardings, we recommend setting up projects right away. This will help you avoid the time-consuming task of reorganizing them from a general list into projects later.

Upgrade to Expert bundle and organize your workflow efficiently! 💼

Go to the side menu → All Projects.

🤖 Junction Bot Digests vs AI Agents: What should you choose?

Connecting AI agents (like Claude or OpenClaw) via MCP servers is trendy right now, but in practice Junction Bot is far more efficient and easier for everyone — from beginners to pros.

Why are AI agents complex and expensive?
💸 Token usage: You pay for all the agent’s reasoning and actions, for every word it reads — which is many times more expensive than a usual text processing.
🧠 Improvisation: Agents can “hallucinate” or miss an important post.
🤯 Setup difficulties: You need to spend a lot of time dealing with servers and APIs if you haven’t done this before.

Why is Junction Bot better?
✅ Reliability: The bot is guaranteed to process every message within the selected period. Even when your computer is turned off!
💰 Predictability: A fixed price with no hidden reasoning and action token costs.
🚀 Speed: Setup takes just 1 minute in the Telegram interface.

Bottom line: Agents are great for one-off searches or unusual scenarios. For everyday time savings, Junction Bot has no competition.

We recommend our most popular Expert bundle, which lets you add up to 500 sources to your digests, including private ones and sources with copy restrictions.

Reactions Digest 🔥⭐️👍: automate the best highlights of the day

Owners of large Telegram-channels often compile evening digests so subscribers don’t miss the key events of the day. Previously, manually selecting posts with the highest number of reactions took about an hour of routine work.
With Junction Bot, this process is fully automated: the bot finds the news with the highest reaction counts and delivers a ready-made digest strictly according to your schedule.

What data is available to the AI?
To analyze engagement, the bot uses each post’s metadata:
✔️views_count (number of views);
✔️reactions_count (number of reactions);
✔️comments_count (number of comments);
✔️engagement_score (engagement index).

Prompt examples:
📍 “Sort topics by total views and show only the top 5.”
📍 “Consider only posts with reactions and group them by meaning, pushing the most popular to the top.”

The result is a high-quality daily digest that saves you time, while your readers always stay up to date with the hottest news.

📬 How to choose the digest frequency

To make your digest as useful as possible, it’s important to consider Telegram’s technical limits. A single message has a length cap, and if there’s too much news, the neural network will be forced to compress it into short bullet points to fit everything into one post.

So how do you figure out how often you should receive a digest for maximum value?

👀For those who keep their finger on the pulse:
If you track fast-moving markets (for example, trading), create digests more often — 2–3 times a day. This helps preserve the details of important trades and signals.
🗓 For daily digests: If you just need a high-level overview, schedule delivery in the evening at 10PM  to capture the day’s results. This saves up to 2 hours a day by replacing endless feed scrolling with a single structured news summary.
💡The detail rule: If you feel the summary has become too superficial, simply increase the generation frequency. The shorter the period between reports, the more detailed the neural network will describe each event while staying within Telegram’s message length limits.

We recommend the most popular Expert bundle, which includes:
⭐️ 6 scheduled digests;
🎉 90 free generations as a bonus powered by the Geminii 3 Flash neural network;
🗂 The ability to add up to 500 sources to a single digest (sources can be anything: public, private, or with copy restrictions).

To create a scheduled digest, go to Side Menu → My Digests.

⚡️ Find hot trends in seconds: a new system prompt for digests — “Trend Watching”.

Friends, we’ve added a super useful system prompt to Digests for anyone who wants to keep a finger on the pulse without spending hours scrolling through chats and channels in search of the most popular news. Meet the new system prompt for digests — “Trend Watching”.

Now the bot can automatically find news with the highest audience engagement. The algorithm analyzes your sources, groups posts by topic, and pushes to the top of the digest those topics that generated the strongest user response. 🔥👍🤩

For each topic, you’ll see links to the original posts in the sources and the engagement level for each post, so you can easily compare audience reactions and dive deeper into exactly the material you need.

We recommend our most popular Expert bundle, which lets you add up to 500 sources, including private ones and those with copy restrictions.

Who is this useful for?
For example, one of our users is the owner of a popular Telegram channel with an audience of over 70,000 subscribers. Every day, up to 1,000 pieces of content are published across various sources, and manually tracking the top-performing ones is physically impossible. It’s a massive amount of routine work—previously, hours were spent monitoring and manually selecting popular topics.

With the new “Trend Watching” prompt, the process is 100% automated!
🤖 You completely free yourself from manual monitoring.

How it works: ⚙️
✅ The bot selects the most popular articles and posts based on reactions and comments.
✅ Groups them by topic.
✅ Sends you a digest of topics with the highest engagement📈

See how such a digest looks like: /channel/trendwatching_digest

Important: to calculate the engagement score, posts in the sources must have reactions or comments enabled.

💸 How much money have you lost simply by missing a message?

It’s a familiar story: you subscribe to a great channel to catch discounts or useful resources, but the sheer volume of messages makes it impossible to keep up.

The result? When that one crucial message arrives, you simply don't see it.

In a recent interview, one of our users (a marketer in the digital space) shared a pain point many of us know too well.

Back in November, before she started using digests, she missed a massive "Black Friday" deal in one of her favorite channels. Why? Simply because the announcement got buried under dozens of other posts, and it scrolled off her screen unnoticed.

A chance to snag a necessary tool at a great price was lost. 😕

🛡 The Solution? She has now set up a digest for 10 professional channels. Instead of frantically checking every chat, she receives a single digest. If keywords like "sale," "discount," or "important announcement" appear, they stand out immediately. Now, the risk of missing a profitable offer is practically zero. ⭐️

The point: Information noise can literally cost you money.
Friends, share your stories! Have you ever missed out on something really important just because you didn't check Telegram in time?

Hello friends! 👋

We know how hard it is to keep up with Telegram these days.

Subscriptions are growing, but the time to read everything is shrinking. Often, useful information just gets lost in the stream.

We want to change that. For the last few months, we've been building AI Digests — a feature designed to help you stop reading hundreds of messages and just get the essence of what matters.

What is happening: We are preparing a preliminary launch of this new feature. Testing starts on Dec 22. We invite volunteers who are interested in trying this tool first and sharing honest feedback.

This will be especially useful if you are:

- Drowning in work or personal chats (need a general summary or tracking specific topics).
- A trader or investor (tracking market context, not just noise).
- Running a channel and curating industry news (save hours of manual work).
- An analyst or researcher (news monitoring).
- Simply subscribed to lots of channels and don’t want to miss out.

Hey everyone!

By popular request, we've added a new setting for message forwarding — 🆕 Filtering Order.

Previously, the order was fixed: Replacements → Filters → AI Processing. Now you can control exactly when filters are applied:

after reception — filters are applied to the original message text before any replacements
after replacements — filters run after replacements but before AI processing (this was the previous default)
after ai — filters run at the very end, after AI processing

You can find this setting in your forwarding configuration under the "Filters" section.

💡 Why is this useful?

Previously, for complex scenarios, you had to create intermediate channels. For example:

Source → AI Processing to Channel 1 → Filter by AI Results to Channel 2

Now you can do all of this within a single forwarding rule.

⚙️ Use Case Examples

❇️ AI-powered filtering: Have the AI processing to tag irrelevant content with a keyword, then filter it out

1. Configure AI processing: In your forwarding settings, find AI Processing and select the "Ad Check" prompt. Edit it so the AI replaces irrelevant message text with a specific word, like "SKIP".

2. Add a stop filter for the word "SKIP".

3. Set the Filter Order setting to "after ai".

🎛 Original text filtering: The bot filters first, then applies replacements. This is useful if you have complex replacement rules and don't want replacements to affect your filters. Set the option to "after reception".

Enjoy!

Hello, friends!

⚡️Another small but nice update. We've added the ability to set titles for connected accounts.

If you have more than one connected account, you've probably encountered the following inconvenience: when choosing an account while creating a new forwarding rule, it's difficult to remember which account you need now while seeing only its phone number. This problem has now been solved! In addition to phone numbers, the title of the corresponding connection is now displayed where needed.

By default, the account connection title is set to the name of the corresponding account. However, you can change this on your bundle card on the My Account page. To do this, simply click on the phone number.

If you need to see the account title in addition to the phone number elsewhere in the UI, please contact support, we'll get it done!

Enjoy! 🚀
