Majid Freeman trial nears end
Earlier this week, our brother and fellow supporter of the Palestinian cause, Majid Freeman, remained resolute during intense cross-examination, with the prosecution questioning him on "the resistance" and alleged support for Hamas.
The state has employed the old conflationary approach (anti-Zionism being mixed up with anti-Semitism); in this case they've falsely claimed that support for the Palestinian resistance is potential evidence of support for a banned organisation.
Majid's trial is expected to conclude next week, we pray for his victory.
We need to use our voice on 7 May
Along with local elections in Scotland and Wales, mayoral and local elections will also be taking place in England.
With 5,014 council seats to be contested across England, we're strongly encouraged to give our vote to the candidate who has a proven record in benefiting their community.
We also need to vote strategically, such that we avoid handing power to individuals and/or political parties that are Islamophobic in nature.

They're trying to jail Majid Freeman!
Our brother and aid worker Majid Freeman's jury trial began on Monday at Birmingham Crown Court.
He is accused of three charges under the Terrorism Act of 2000, owing to his brave support for the Palestinian people and their right to resist illegal occupation.
The trial, which is expected to last a fortnight, comes two months after the High Court ruled that the government's proscription of Palestine Action was disproportionate and unlawful. However, while the government appeals against this ruling, the ban technically remains in effect. This has left a serious grey area.
We urge everyone who views this post to share it with family, friends, and colleagues. Please also follow any developments during the trial. This could become one of the most important legal cases when it comes to expressing support for Palestine.
