UN rights chief calls out Israeli inhumanity
Volker Türk, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, has said the Zionist regime is acting in an inhumane manner in Gaza, with the situation "catastrophic".
He noted in a recent interview, “About 80 per cent of the territory of the Gaza Strip is now military areas where people are not allowed to stay ... There are no more words to describe it.”

UN warns Zionist policies triggering second Nakba
On Friday, a UN Committee warned of Israel's desire to continue to "inflict unimaginable suffering on the people living under its occupation, whilst rapidly expanding confiscation of land as part of its wider colonial aspirations".
The United Nations "Special Committee to Investigate Israeli Practices Affecting the Human Rights of the Palestinian People and Other Arabs of the Occupied Territories" was set up in 1968.
