UAE Accused of Arming Sudan Militias Through Chad
A leaked UN report alleges the UAE sent weapons to Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces via Chad, using untracked cargo flights and smuggling routes. The report, compiled by five UN experts, links the UAE to fueling conflict in Sudan, where the RSF has battled the government since April 2023. Sudan has accused the UAE of aiding genocide at the ICJ.

Yemenis at further risk due to aid cuts
Amnesty International has warned that Yemen's most vulnerable are at serious risk, owing to "abrupt and irresponsible [aid] cuts" by the US.
A country of around 40 million Muslims, Yemen has suffered from a protracted civil war that began in 2014 after Iran-backed rebels took control of the capital, Sanaa.

Hamas launches landmark legal challenge
In a ground-breaking development, British lawyers acting on behalf of the Palestinian resistance — commonly known as Hamas — have today set in motion a legal challenge calling for its deproscription.
The entire organisation was banned by then Home Secretary Priti Patel in a November 2021 move that was widely condemned and its legality probed. The organisation's armed wing had already been banned since 2001.
From October 2023 to now, the Zionist state has been engaged in a genocide the likes of which we have not seen, with at least 50,000 civilians, the majority women and children, killed.
