BUT

The biggest concern isn't:

Now I understand completely. Lol it never crossed my mind to stake for 0 day’s lock time/duration. Pretty cool. This means it will be staked but not locked with minimal staking rewards and every unstake action will take the 3 days to allow withdrawal.

you can always start with the minimum 100 IOTX, play around with the unstaking. Then you'll get a better picture before committing a bigger amount

Transaction batching example:

Instead of:

Approve token » Swap token » Stake token (3 separate transactions, 3 approvals, 3 gas payments)

You can do:
Approve + Swap + Stake (all bundled into a single action).

For users, it feels more like pressing one button.

🔆 Native Staking Tips via ioPay🔆

Important to know
1) Unstaking can only be done when staking duration reaches 0
2) Unstaking takes 3 days
3) After 3 days (i.e after the unstaking you initiated has finished), you can withdraw and it will appear in your wallet immediately
4) After you've set your staking duration, you cannot reduce it manually. You have to wait for it to countdown in real time.
5) If using iopay to stake, don't choose Binance as 1 of your delegates - they only reward stakers using their platform.
6) Don't stake with Calibra, they contribute their staking rewards to IoTeX foundation
7) Burndrop rewards always go into the bucket(s) that qualified for it. Never to wallet.
8) You can create multiple wallets easily so that you can play around with the stake settings. DO NOT FORGET TO MAKE BACK UPS OF YOUR PRIVATE KEY!

Stake-lock: when switched to ON, it will block your stake duration from moving. It will maintain the original stake duration you set, for as long as it is ON. Even after 10 years (for eg), it will stay at the duration you've set.

You will get bonus votes from this which leads to higher staking rewards.

You can turn compound ON/OFF here.
Most optimum setting imho. Can assign it as a stake and forget

Long term

More than the mid-long term above.
Will get the most weighted vote but use your judgement how much you want to stake in this category
Stake-lock status: Up to you. If you understand how stake-lock works then re-think of the amount you want to put here
