As of now, over 72% of #Bitcoin holders are enjoying profits. This suggests that the cryptocurrency market is showing a positive trend. However, you may be wondering if there are too many people in profit at current prices to reach new all-time highs anytime soon.

Let's look at the previous cycle, where holders were close to breaking 90% at profitability when the price was around 11k. This situation could have led to a selloff. However, what we saw was that people continued to add to their positions during the move up, even though small drawdowns in price decreased the number of holders in profit temporarily. This ultimately led to the $69K ATH.

This indicates that $BTC holders firmly believe in the asset throughout a bull run and will keep adding to their portfolio over time. So even if Bitcoin price reaches a point where 90%+ of people would be in profit, like the situation in 2020, there is no reason why price wouldn’t move higher. This data gives us perspective on the potential for a strong upward move by Bitcoin.

While this doesn't mean that Bitcoin will hit new all-time highs soon, it does show us that the fact that people are already profitable doesn't necessarily create selling pressure. https://twitter.com/intotheblock/status/1638204010099245059

This is the most concentrated buying zone, suggesting that historically buyers have stepped up when prices are just below the $20,000 psychological barrier. Ethereum is about to finalize its transition to proof of stake with the upcoming #Shapella fork. This will enable $ETH staked to be withdrawn by validators, allowing $34B of currently locked staked ETH to enter the market.

Withdrawals of staked ETH have to wait to be processed to mitigate an exodus and worse security for Ethereum. Partial withdrawals would take 4-5 days, while it's projected to take ~100 days for 1/3 of full withdrawals to happen, translating into $80M-$100M of $ETH being withdrawn/day. https://twitter.com/intotheblock/status/1645362650648387593
