Vedanta Group firm on Tuesday said its board has approved a fourth interim dividend of Rs 26 per equity share for 2022-23, amounting to Rs 10,985.83 crore. "...we wish to inform you that the Board of Directors of the Company in its meeting held on March 21, 2023, have approved a fourth interim dividend of Rs 26/- per equity share i.e. 1300 % on the face value of Rs. 2/- per share for the Financial Year 2022-23 amounting to Rs 10,985.83 crore," the regulatory filing stated.
Tata Power Company
Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (TPREL) on Tuesday said it has secured a letter of award (LoA) for setting up a 200 MW solar PV project for Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL) in Solapur, Maharashtra. The power distribution company claims that the project is expected to offset approximately 432.94 million kg of CO2 emissions annually.
HG Infra Engineering
Construction engineering company on Tuesday said it has been declared as the lowest bidder for a project by the North Central Railway in Kanpur. HG Infra made a bid of Rs 655.09 crore for the project, while the North Central Railway’s estimated cost of the project was Rs 677.31 crore, the company stated. Under the terms of the contract, the construction company will be responsible for the re-development of the Kanpur Central Railway station in the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode in UP.

Homegrown automaker on Tuesday announced a price increase of up to 5 percent for commercial vehicles starting from April 1, 2023. According to the vehicle manufacturer, the decision to increase prices is a result of the company's efforts to comply with the more stringent BS6 phase II emission norms.

The company on Tuesday declared an interim dividend of Rs 2.50 per equity share for the financial year ending March 31 (2022-23). Indian Oil Corporation
The company on Tuesday announced that its board has provided in-principle approval to carry out pre-project activities for setting up the Paradip petrochemical complex at Paradip, Odisha. The project will be developed at an estimated cost of Rs 61,077 crore. The project shall improve the petrochemical Intensity Index of the company and de-risk its fossil fuel business. It shall also help to reduce the import dependency and contribute to the vision of “Atmanirbhar Bharat."

The company on Tuesday said it has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Svetah Energy Infrastructure FZE, UAE, for the Operations & Maintenance works (O&M) of the floating production storage and offloading system (FPSO), Svetah Venetia. The system is to be deployed for the production of Oil and Gas in the offshore area of contract area CY-OS-90/1 (PY3 Field) in Puducherry, according to a statement by ASEL.

Drug firm on Tuesday said it has received approval from the US health regulator for Brexpiprazole tablets used to treat certain mental and mood disorders. The approval by the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) is for Brexpiprazole tablets of strengths 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, 1 mg, 2 mg, 3 mg, and 4 mg, the company said in a regulatory filing.

Automobile major on Monday said it has appointed Usha Sangwan as additional director and independent director of the company for 5 years, effective from May 15, 2023, until May 14, 2028. The appointment is subject to the approval of the shareholders of the company, Tata Motors said. Usha Sangwan, a PG in Economics, was the first ever woman Managing Director of LIC of India. Sangwan joined LIC in 1981 as a Direct Recruit Officer and handled various positions during her 37 years of a stint at LIC.

Tyre maker on Monday said it has appointed Arnab Banerjee as managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) after Anant Goenka resigned. Goenka, MD and CEO of the company since April 1, 2012, expressed his desire to hand over the charge of the company to a successor, as the board may determine, with a view to focus on initiatives at the group level, the company said in an exchange filing

The company on Monday said it has emerged as a successful bidder for a project worth Rs 2,100 crore. Construction engineering company on Monday said it has bagged a Letter of Award from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited for a project worth more than Rs 182 crore. In a stock exchange filing, the company said the development has been received in the name of J Kumar-AICPL (joint venture). For this project, J Kumar Infra holds 55 percent of the shares which approximately amounts to more than Rs 100 crore.

Biotechnology company Coya Therapeutics on Monday announced a worldwide agreement with Dr Reddy’s Laboratories to in-license the proposed Abatacept biosimilar of Dr Reddy’s for the development of Coya’s combination product for neurodegenerative diseases, COYA 302. The proposed biosimilar Abatacept is a dual biologic intended to suppress neuroinflammation via multiple immunomodulatory pathways, for the treatment of neurodegenerative
conditions. It is pertinent to mention that the conditions generally refer to a type of disease in which cells of the central nervous system stop working or die.

The company clarified on Monday that it has decided to keep the major equipment procurement and site construction activities on hold for its green PVC project. "We are hopeful to obtain financial closure for the project in next six months post which full-fledged procurement and construction activities at site will commence. We are committed to completing the project in an expeditious manner," a company spokesperson said.

Auto components maker on Monday said its board has approved the acquisition of an 81.69 percent stake in Kosei Minda Aluminum Company Pvt. Ltd. and a 49.90 percent stake in Kosei Minda Mould Pvt. Ltd. from joint venture partner Kosei, Japan. The enterprise values of Kosei Minda Aluminum Company and Kosei Minda Mould considered for the purpose of the transaction are Rs 60 crore and Rs 11 crore, respectively, the company said in an exchange filing.
