We once mentioned that a new, "compressed" NFT format (cNFT) is emerging in TON. Its unique feature is the ability to release a collection of thousands of items for just a fraction of a price. And it finally happened!
Pearls by Gems, in collaboration with the creators of Lost Dogs, dropped a free collection of cards hinting at a mysterious venture to the past: postcards, letters, stamps, ruins, and other echoes of mysterious destructive consequences, — all with different rarity and value.
What’s the result?
☝️ Minting 16K cNFTs for just 1.5 $TON. Usually, the release of 16,000 NFTs collection costs about 800 $TON, equivalent to roughly $2,000. In the case of cNFT, the cost was just $3. In other words, this is a re-vo-lu-tion!
✌️ A total of 16,191 cNFT pearls were dropped into the wallets of those who managed to link them in time to the Pearl bot.

😼 How to see cNFT?
TonTech has proposed a new standard: Compressed NFTs. The groundbreaking quality of this standard is that it allows creating collections of 100 000s or 1 million NFTs, at the cost of minting a single piece.
To make it easier: the blockchain records not each NFT separately, but only a "proof" that this specific NFT truly exists, has an owner, and belongs to a specific collection.
Compressed NFT (cNFT) is a standard that enables the creation of large collections, up to a billion items, without consuming a significant amount of time and coins for minting.
For instance, we are using this standard in our game Egg Fight Club. Our goal is to attract hundreds of thousands of players and distribute millions of NFT eggs.
If we were to distribute regular NFTs, it would cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. But with cNFTs, we only need ten. Players will still be able to trade and sell their eggs.
cNFTs can be listed for sale or sent to a friend. By doing so, they become regular NFTs.
We have already supported the new cNFT standard on Getgems, initiated several projects based on it, and are assisting others in adopting it!

How to do it:
1. Log in to TON Space with the wallet address that holds your NFT.
2. Ensure your digital collectible is listed for sale on the Getgems NFT marketplace.
3. Then, navigate to the "Collectibles" tab in TON Space and copy your NFT's link.
4. Send the copied link to another user, and they will see this NFT inside Wallet with the "Buy" button.
5. Voilà! Now they can purchase your digital collectible in just a few taps.
To connect TON Space, activate it in the Wallet's "Settings" and follow the on-screen prompts.

Royalties are a cut or percentage from secondary sales that goes to the original creator of digital collectibles.
Over the year, we've been looking closely at how the communities on Ethereum and Solana have been fighting to preserve author royalties. Sooner or later, this issue would've come to TON NFT. At the moment, a unified solution to protect author royalties doesn't exist on TON. In fact, our friends from TonTech are currently working on such a standard.
We don't want immutable royalties to become a tool for centralization in the TON NFT space. Therefore, we invite the community to discuss a possible technical solution.

2) Requests to send NFTs directly to their wallet address, bypassing the marketplace;
3) Distribution of links to fake collections.
Let's go over some basic safety rules:

❗️ If you have doubts about the authenticity of a collection on the marketplace, ask the community, go to official channels of projects and find reliable links there.
❗️ Double-check the websites when connecting your wallet.
❗️ Wallet-to-wallet NFT transfers are at your own risk, and are your full responsibility. So triple check everything and make sure the counterparty is trustworthy. If you send your property to a scammer, there’s no way to reverse the transaction; this is how any blockchain works.
