At the moment, a unified solution to protect author royalties doesn't exist on TON. In fact, our friends from TonTech are currently working on such a standard.
We don't want immutable royalties to become a tool for centralization in the TON NFT space. Therefore, we invite the community to discuss a possible technical solution.
We believe that the "royalty protection" option should exist so that authors don't get left behind in the art world. Our goal is to highlight the problem and demonstrate that a potential solution exists. However, we won't force the exclusive use of the new "protected" contract standard.
We operate in a free market, and the value of a collection is determined by the demand among buyers. The final choice is yours, dear gems and NFT collectors.
