🛑 در جملاتی که از while براي تضاد استفاده می کنیم از لحاظ معنی و کاربرد دقیقا مثل whereas است و این دو می‌توانند بجای هم بکار روند

🅾 ایجاد ساختارهای تضاد
در Writing و Speaking مدام نیاز به ساخت تضادها دارید. بنابراین دانستن انواع متنوعی از این ساختارها بسیار اهمیت دارد. برای ساخت تضادها از ساختارهای زیر می توان استفاده کرد.
🔵 Whereas immigration has increased, the population has fallen.
🔴 Immigration has increased whereas the population has fallen.
🔵 Although immigration has increased, the population has fallen.
🔴 Immigration has increased although the population has fallen.
🔵 While immigration has increased, the population has fallen.
🔴 Immigration has increased while the population has fallen.
🔵 Despite the fact that immigration has increased, the population has fallen.
🔴 In spite of the fact that immigration has increased, the population has fallen.
🔵 Despite the increase in immigration, the population has fallen.
🔴 In spite of the increase in immigration, the population has fallen.
🅾 همانطوریکه می بینید چون دو طرف با هم تضاد دارند، فرقی نمی کند این کلمات تضادساز، سر کدام جمله بیاید. البته وقتی این کلمات را وسط جمله می آورید، معمولا لازم نیست از کاما استفاده شود.
💥 همچنین دقت داشته باشید که
Despite = In spite of
است و برای Despite از of استفاده نکنید.
🅾 آخرین نکته نیز آن است که بعد از Despite و In spite of نمی توانید جمله کامل بیاورید و باید یک عبارت اسمی استفاده شود. این عبارات در فارسی به معنای "علیرغم..." هستند.
اگر می خواهید بعد از آنها جمله بیاورید، باید یک the fact that به آنها اضافه کنید تا معنای "علیرغم اینکه" بدهد.
🅾 توجه داشته باشید که این ساختارها، برای ایجاد تضادها در داخل یک جمله استفاده می شوند (Subordinate). برای ایجاد تضاد بین دو جمله نیاز به لینکرهای تضادسازی مثل
However / Nevertheless / In contrast / On the other hand
استفاده کنید.

🔵 پس از although و even though از فاعل و فعل استفاده ميكنيم. even though كمى قوى تر و موكدتر از although است.

📌Even though he spoke very quietly, l understood every word.

اگرچه، با وجود اینکه

حتی اگر (چه اینجوری بشه، چه نشه!)
🔴 Even if you take a taxi, you'll still miss the train.
🔴 حتی اگر تاکسی هم بگیری، باز هم به قطار نمی‌رسی.
🔵 Even if she survives, she’ll never fully recover.
🔵 حتی اگر جان سالم هم بدر ببرد، باز هم هیچوقت بطور کامل بهبود پیدا نمی‌کند.

🅾 اشتباه رایج:
🅾1️⃣ برای بیان تضاد از
although/even though/though
استفاده می‌شود (جمله‌ی کامپلکس)
🅾2️⃣ برای بیان تضاد از but و yet هم می‌توان استفاده کرد (جمله‌ی کامپوند)
🛑 استفاده‌ی همزمان از دو مورد بالا اشتباه است.
بنابراین جمله‌ی زیر غلط است:
❌ Although the car was destroyed, but no one was hurt in the crash.
✅ شکل صحیح جمله گفته شده 👇
✅ Although the car was destroyed, no one was hurt in the crash.
✅ اگرچه ماشین صدمه دید، هیچ‌کس در تصادف آسیب ندید.
✅ The car was destroyed, but no one was hurt in the crash.
✅ ماشین صدمه دید، اما هیچ‌کس در تصادف آسیب ندید.

🔴 كلمات #though# although به معناي «اگرچه» و #even_though به معناي «حتي اگر چه » برای بیان مغایرت و تضاد کلی به کار می روند. این کلمات ربط در ابتدای یک جمله واره قیدی به کار برده می شوند و باعث می شوند تا مفهوم جمله پایه غیر منتظره و دور از انتظار باشد.

🔵 به عبارت دیگر این کلمات برای بیان تضاد غیر منتظره بین مفهوم جمله پایه و پیرو به کار می روند به طوری که مفهوم جمله پایه دور از انتظار به نظر می رسد.

🏮1- كلمه #though به عنوان يك قيد مي تواند در انتهاي جمله نيز بكار رود :
❎ The room was very small. It was so comfortable, though.
❎ اتاق خيلي كوچك بود ، اگرچه خيلي راحت بود .

🏮2- كلمات in_spite_of# , #despite نيز براي بيان تضاد بكار مي روند اما بعد از آنها نمي توان يك جمله بكار برد بلكه پس از اين كلمات فقط يك اسم ، ضمير ، گروه اسمي و يا اسم مصدر ( ing + فعل ) استفاده مي شود .
❎ In spite of the rain, they held the football match.
❎ با وجود بارش باران ، آنها بازي را برگزار كردند .
❎ I didn't get the job, despite being completely qualified.
❎ با وجود اينكه كاملا واجد شرايط بودم ، آن شغل را به دست نیاوردم.
❎ She felt sick, in spite of this she went to work.

✳️ قواعد سوال ضميمه
Tag questions
🔵 ١) اگر خود جمله فعل كمكي ندارد بايد از افعال كمكي do, does, did طبق زمان جمله و جمع و يا مفرد بودن فاعل استفاده كنيم .
🔴٢) اگر جمله اصلي مثبت باشد 'سوال ضميمه منفي است و بالعكس .
🔵 ٣)زمان نبايد تغيير بكند .
🔴 ٤) فاعل جمله اصلي و سوال ضميمه بايد يكي باشد با اين تفاوت كه در سوال ضميمه ضمير فاعلي به كار ميرود .
🔵 ٥) شكل منفي معمولا مخفف ميشود (n’t).
🔴 ٦) اگر جمله خبري منفي باشد ( يعنى داراى
no ,not ,never,hardly ،scarcely، barely
باشد ، سوال ضميمه مثبت خواهد بود ،يعني بعد از جمله ى منفي ، فعل كمكي مثبت را اورده و سپس از ضمير فاعلى استفاده مى نماييم .
🔵 ٧) اگر جمله اي با that , this شروع شود ، از it و چنانچه با Those ,These
شروع شوند
از they در سوال ضميمه استفاده ميشود
🔴 اگر جمله اي با There شروع شود در سوال ضميمه به جاي ضمير فاعلي از there استفاده ميشه

🛑 دو عبارت despite و in spite of نقش حرف اضافه (preposition) دارند. بنابراین بعد از ان دو مورد باید از فریز (نه یک کلاز) استفاده کنیم.
💥نکته 1 💥
🛑 کلمه despite بدون حرف اضافه‌ی #of بکار می‌رود (اشتباه بسیار رایج):
✅ Despite the heat, she wouldn't take her coat off.
✅ علیرغم گرما، او کتش را درنمی‌آورد.
💥نکته 2 💥
🔵 برخلاف despite، عبارت in spite of همرا با of استفاده می‌شود:
✅ In spite of the heat, she wouldn't take her coat off.
✅ علیرغم گرما، او کتش را درنمی‌آورد.
❌ بنابراین جمله‌ی زیر اشتباه است:
❌ Despite of my qualifications, I couldn't get a Job. ❌
جمله‌ی بالا را می‌توان به دو صورت زیر بیان کرد 👇
✅ Despite my qualifications, I couldn't get a job.
✅ In spite of my qualifications, I couldn't get a job.
✅ علیرغم صلاحیتم، نتوانستم شغل را بدست بیاورم
🛑 همانطور که در بالا گفتیم دو عبارت despite و in spite of حرف اضافه (preposition) هستند؛ بنابراین پس از آنها از کلاز مستقل استفاده نمی‌شود، بلکه یک گروه اسمی (noun phrase) یا فعلی که ing گرفته استفاده می‌شود. وقتی لازم باشد از یک کلاز مستقل (independenp clause) استفاده کنیم، باید
