According to Reuters, CZ, the founder of the Binance platform, may spend 36 months in prison after admitting guilt in violating US anti-money laundering laws 🇺🇸.
US prosecutors have requested that the federal court in Washington sentence CZ to 36 months in prison.
Based on CZ's defense documents, he affirmed that he was not aware and was not explicitly informed of the specific transactions involving criminal funds conducted on Binance.
CZ also pointed out that he would not pose a risk of re-offending if sentenced to probation instead of imprisonment.

ذكرت وكالة Rueters ان CZ، مؤسس منصة Binance، قد يقضي 36 شهراً في السجن بعد أن اعترف بالذنب في انتهاك قوانين مكافحة غسيل الأموال الاميركية 🇺🇸.
حيث طالب المدعون الأمريكيون المحكمة الفيدرالية في واشنطن أن يتم الحكم على CZ بالسجن لمدة 36 شهر.
وفقاً لوثائق الدفاع المقدمة من قبل CZ، أكد أنه لم يكن على علم ولم يتم إبلاغه صراحة بالمعاملات المحددة التي تضمنت أموالاً إجرامية تمت عبر Binance.
كما أشار CZ إلى أنه لن يشكل خطراً للارتكاب الجريمة مرة أخرى في حال قد حكم عليه بالمراقبة الجنائية بدلاً من السجن.

Binance recently made an announcement stating that they have converted all the Secure Asset Fund for Users (SAFU) to USDC in order to improve stability.
The SAFU address now holds 1 billion USDC instead of BNB, USDT, and TUSD. Additionally, another address that was used to reserve BTC has transferred all the BTC back to the hot wallet.
According to Arkham, Binance's SAFU Fund has transferred all 16.277k BTC to the Binance hot wallet.

Uniswap Labs has received a Wells notice from the 🇺🇸 Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) today.
Uniswap's founder stated that the battle would continue for years and might reach the Supreme Court.
A Wells notice is not an official indictment or a regulatory enforcement document. It is an early warning that the Securities and Exchange Commission will take enforcement actions against suspected projects. Ripple received a Wells notice from the SEC in December 2020, which immediately led to its removal from Coinbase. The Wells notice did not specify the reasons, requiring Uniswap Labs to fully prove its innocence.
