I was cooking something silly and funny this night to not be so late for 4.04 celebration but wanna get a thing to a more polished and finished state (why does it sound like I’m on daily and we’re about to miss the release date? 🤔)

You think this post was it?
Naaah. How about FE devs having troubles with changing font color depending on poll state? Yap, who cares. It will be 2 years in July since public launch, btw
And I don't actually blame them about it

Regarding trolling
I should have posted it stylized initially 🌚
So, I had an interview today for our open senior Node.js spot—tryna snag a coding wizard for the crew, you know?
Midway through the chat, I’m dropping the deets—our app’s out here thriving under constant high load, no sweat. Then, this candidate flips the script and launches into a spicy lil’ rant. He’s all, “Node.js? Bruh, that’s slower than a sloth on a chill pill—y’all should be riding with C# or somethin’ slick!” Says he’s clocked the benchmarks and Node.js just ain’t it.
Fair play, my dude’s got opinions hotter than a fresh meme drop—we respect the hustle! Just tryna keep the good vibes rolling and the servers purring over here. What a legend.
Throw it to panickers saying that AI will fire both of you tomorrow
p.s. but yeah, ai will fire you and previous ai tomorrow anyway
Satya Nadella:
A couple reflections on the quantum computing breakthrough we just announced...
Most of us grew up learning there are three main types of matter that matter: solid, liquid, and gas. Today, that changed.
After a nearly 20 year pursuit, we’ve created an entirely new state of matter, unlocked by a new class of materials, topoconductors, that enable a fundamental leap in computing.
It powers Majorana 1, the first quantum processing unit built on a topological core.
We believe this breakthrough will allow us to create a truly meaningful quantum computer not in decades, as some have predicted, but in years.
The qubits created with topoconductors are faster, more reliable, and smaller.
They are 1/100th of a millimeter, meaning we now have a clear path to a million-qubit processor.
Imagine a chip that can fit in the palm of your hand yet is capable of solving problems that even all the computers on Earth today combined could not!
Sometimes researchers have to work on things for decades to make progress possible.
It takes patience and persistence to have big impact in the world.
And I am glad we get the opportunity to do just that at Microsoft.
This is our focus: When productivity rises, economies grow faster, benefiting every sector and every corner of the globe.
It’s not about hyping tech; it’s about building technology that truly serves the world.

Retards selling nvidia really don’t understand economics behind making token price lower therefore multiplying potential demand for utilization under wider list of use cases
Inference was and will remain main reason for GPUs demand so this entire situation is so stupid
Nvidias black swan will come but it ain’t one

Pricing of currently unannounced “Claude Max” plans have appeared on App Store
The question is: is this the same recently added to the Cursor? So, probably one with 500k context?
Btw, gemini-2.5-pro actually worth it
The first one to seriously compete with Claude and the first one to meaningfully outperform Claude in some of aspects
Its been almost a year of total Claude's domination!

Everyone's hyping how OpenAI generates Ghibli-style images now, but did you know DevMeme's entire avatar has been made solely of emojis for 4.5 years already?

You might have wondered why Musk proposed a $97.4 billion deal for OpenAI (or maybe you just learned about it—check the first two attachments for context).
Here’s the thing: the for-profit division of OpenAI is still owned by the non-profit OpenAI entity. It’s not legally permissible to simply sell it for $1—otherwise, every startup would try to incubate itself as a non-profit. However, in the U.S., it is possible for a non-profit to sell a for-profit entity it owns. This is where things get more interesting.
OpenAI’s recent valuation was approximately $150 billion.
Since Sam Altman is on both sides of the deal—as both the seller and the buyer—it’s clear that he would push for a lower price. Essentially, what Musk did was set a minimum benchmark for the price of the for-profit division. Selling it below Musk’s proposed price would now create a conflict of interest between the original OpenAI non-profit and the now-independent ChatGPT (or whatever it becomes).
