It saddens me on some level that you say you don't feel like you can be emotionally vulnerable and be a man...but at the same time, it makes me very happy that you have found a functional way to be vulnerable.
Since the alternative is pure suffering.
on the other hand, for me being male often means being emotionally suppressed (which is an association i want to lose, but it's very societal as well), competitive, maybe sportive? I'm less sure of what makes my "male" part

being female means being allowed by society to be emotionally vulnerable. when I'm in girlmode, I like to wear girlier stuff, I like to walk, behave and talk girlier. i like to wear make-up, talk "out of my heart" instead of "out of my head". but this is a very personal thing, and ultimately what counts is only that this is what I connect to feeling like a girl and that this is what I feel sometimes.
