I believe the main issue is that most projects nowadays looking to max extract, since it became the norm, so they are launching their own privacy centric tech or chain.

E.g. robinhood has it's own chain, where they launder memes atm, completely pointless and useless, altho all liquidity flows there, taking away from projects like coti etc.. since everyone nowadays looking for a quick p&d, that's the culture right now.

I've been a COTI holder for a long time, and I can't help but notice that V2 is following the same pattern as V1.

Back then, we had a generic product that failed to attract meaningful adoption. Today, V2 finally offers something the market genuinely needs: privacy. Yet, for some reason, developers and projects still aren't choosing COTI.

To me, that suggests the problem is no longer the technology. The technology is solid. The problem is execution, strategy, and business development.
What exactly is the marketing team doing? Actually, I know the answer: another Earn COTI campaign designed to attract yield farmers who leave as soon as the rewards dry up. That doesn't build a sustainable ecosystem.

People will say, "It's a bear market." Sure, everyone knows that. But real execution isn't tested only in bull markets. You prepare during both good and bad times. If adoption isn't happening now, why should we assume it will magically happen later?

As usual, some people in the community will agree, others will disagree, and the COTI team will probably ignore this feedback.

Now we have gCOTI, but where is the governance? Where are the meaningful proposals? Is the answer just more APR?

Please reduce APR unless it's funded by actual protocol revenue. Right now, you're not creating value—you're creating inflation. Rewards should come from real fees generated by real users, and we all know that's not what's happening today.

Technology is no longer COTI's biggest challenge. Adoption is.

It's not complicated: 1. we're in a bear market 2. We will never be priced equal to fundamentals. NEVER!!! The mis-pricing is either to the upside or the downside, depending on where in the market cycle we are, as well the extent to which the market is picking up on what's going on outside BTC/ETH.

Next time dont do any advertising for third party projects, they should advertise that are building on Coti, not the other way around
