If I’ve been scammed to send the money by the receiver, of course they will accept it. But if the hApp creator doesn’t allow anonymous users, then, if you scammed me, I have recourse against you.

And there are stories of wallets being drained by anonymous hackers. It can’t leave my wallet without my signature. So you can’t hack my wallet and take my money. It has to go somewhere with my approval. Then we’re back to the first statement. It can’t go to an anonymous location in an app that’s designed appropriately.

Remember, the foundation of Holochain is not anonymous “trustless“ transactions. It’s about building trustful relationships.

IMO the no 1 difference is tokens are not held in a wallet as per blockchain! Only your balance/transactions are visible. Blockchain cant have a wallet in debt by credit assigned to it and spent. Holofuel is therefore not using a wallet but an happ that uses the DHT to store visibility of the balance & transactions just like an on-line bank account app.

As far as i know with blockchain you just need a wallet adres and acces to the funds, but im not sure if you can build a dApp that requieres strict validation steps for transactions
