I haven't heard of Phax. It's only a matter of time before someone produces a Holochain file storage application. I haven't had a strong use case for it yet, but I do imagine that the best way to go about it would be to store files in a standard (non-validating) DHT and it's associated hash and meta-data in the validating DHT. To my mind this would provide completely distributed torrent like file storage with the necessary Holochain validation and minimal overhead.

There used to be an account on Twitter called Phax that suggested it was about storing/big files/data on Holochain. Not seen it post for a while though and could never tell if it was genuine

You have to think differently.
Holochain is a decentralized application framework. Everyone should be equipped with their own AI and their own ChatGPT and have the AI''s scan the local data and communicate with the other AI's. There's massive benifits in doing it this way. One just has to think outside the centralised box that current application architecture resides within.

In upcoming future big data storing and transportation online will not be an issue because of 5g and upcoming 6g tech. In my opinion the actual issue will be how to sort the required data quickly like in real time. Suppose like playing an online game (e.g.PUBG) and there is no ms drop.

Acorn doesn't have file storage. It's a peer to peer app for managing projects. The information stored is simple text.
